On my first visit, I came in to look at a Rolex that was not one of the especially popular or difficult-to-obtain models. The gentleman who helped me was wonderful and said he would call if one became available, either new or pre-owned. A pre-owned example later appeared in the store, but I never received a call. When I returned today, he appeared to see me and then avoided engaging with me. I was instead assisted by a woman who came across as quite rude. She showed me a Cartier Santos, but when I explained that I was specifically interested in the titanium version, which they did not have, she seemed visibly frustrated. On another visit, I was looking into a display case when a salesperson assisting another customer positioned themselves directly in front of me, with their back blocking my view, without so much as acknowledging that I was already looking at the case. Across my visits, I have repeatedly felt ignored and snubbed. I cannot know the reason, but the overall impression I was left with is that because I do not dress up to go shopping, I was not viewed as a serious customer. Apparently, my business is not of interest to them. That is their prerogative, and I will simply spend my money elsewhere.
