Terrible customer services from both owners. Also they do not have a jeweler so all work is outsourced, including setting a simple stone. Also when it comes to "creating" jewelry it's just purchased from a company out of California. Krystynas is simply the middle man with no expertise in jewelry. If you want cheap quality products at a low budget this is the place for you. For superior quality jewelry that is local, and family owned I would recommend James & Sons. They are an authorized Rolex dealer so not only are they reputable. However they will save you money on a Rolex timepiece if you buy jewelry as well. read more

Their new location is now in Lemont and the inside of the store is absolutely gorgeous! Bernie and Dorothy helped my husband pick out the most beautiful pear shaped engagement ring. Well not only did they spend over 1 hour helping get the ring off, they put his finger under the microscope to make sure no metal was on his finger, which we did find some. Then helped remove it. My wedding set was actually purchased with a jeweler in the city. I have always exclusively gone there to have in cleaned and inspected. I live here in the Southwest Suburbs. Due to time restraints I decided to try Krystynas based on their great reputation with my family and friends. I called the day before and inquired on the cost..which was less than I'd pay for parking in the city. I stopped in the very next day and was so pleased with the service!! The woman that assisted me thoroughly checked my ring. I brought to her attention a prong that I had snagged on something and she noticed right away that it was making my stone jiggle in the setting. No problem.. she adjusted it right there for me. She then took my ring in the back and about out about 10 min later it reappeared sparkling .. like magic!
