A Florida restaurant right on the water with great views and good food? Yes, please. Crazy About…read moreYou is nicely appointed with a bit of charming quirk woven into the decor. I stopped in for lunch after a work meeting and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I needed a "steak break," so I opted for the "I Can't Believe It's Not Carbonara"--and I have zero noodle regrets! The zucchini substitute combined with a delicious carbonara sauce meant there was no concern about the lack of traditional pasta. The zucchini more than filled the role, and I certainly appreciated the caloric savings. The chicken was also well-cooked, flavorful, and moist. I especially loved the tableside delivery and the unique touch of being served directly from a colander. The order isn't huge, which I appreciated, it felt the right size for lunch without weighing down your afternoon. Now, there were likely no calorie savings with the Serrano Ham Croquettes, but they are small and easily shareable if you want to spread the love. They are a true step up and a legitimate treat compared to run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks. The decor kitsch continues right until the end--the check arrived in an old-school lunchbox! The staff were great throughout the meal, making for a seamless and enjoyable lunch.

From the moment we sat down, our waitress was warm and attentive. I wish I'd gotten her name. She made great recommendations that were all delicious. Is a simple but effective menu with starters included with the main dish. Great value for their portions. We had no complaints about the food and the drinks were just as good. The restaurant is very well managed and organized. It's a beautiful location with gorgeous views of golden hour.

Happy hour specials

Salty Flame in Brickell??? Yeah... they did what needed to be DONE…read more We came for happy hour and accidentally had a full spiritual experience through appetizers. First of all, the vibes were immaculate. We sat outside and it was so peaceful at first because I think we were literally the first people there for happy hour/lunch. It felt like we unlocked a secret level before the crowd came. Perfect weather, great energy, good music, cute scenery... very "main character with a discounted cocktail" energy. Now let's talk FOOD. Every single dish we ordered was SO flavorful. Like somebody in that kitchen actually believes in seasoning and I just want to personally thank them for their service. Even the fries??? And let's have a serious conversation because not all fries deserve rights. Especially those thick overly battered fries that feel like you're chewing on drywall. These fries were thin, crispy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned... exactly how fries should be. No unnecessary jacket on them. Just vibes. The tuna tartare was AMAZING. Fresh, flavorful, light, addictive. I could've ordered another one and acted like it was "for the table." The calamari was cooked perfectly too. Nice and airy, tender, not rubbery. You know how some calamari fights back when you chew it? Not this one. Peaceful calamari. The edamame with the chunky sea salt was weirdly one of my favorite things. So simple but SO good. And the Korean wings??? BABY. Those were "cancel your evening plans and order another round" wings. We don't say "to die for" anymore because positivity, growth, healing... but let's just say I would dramatically think about those wings again later. The drinks were great, the prices during happy hour honestly felt fair, and our waiter was SO sweet and attentive the entire time. Overall, I would absolutely come back. Honestly, if my responsibilities would allow it, I'd pull up to this happy hour every day like it's a part time job!

I must go whenever you visit Miami. This is my second time going to this place and specifically…read moredislocation because they have multiple locations. Not only the staff is very friendly and took their time to explain to me their food and specialty, but all of the food that I ordered came out pretty fast. They have a very cool vibe and I really really love Peruvian ceviche. Don't get overwhelmed with them menu because they are all so good and worth it. The downside is the challenge finding a parking because this location is located at one of the most crowded area. I tried four ceviche variations sampler, and they are all divine. Oh my God, don't forget to order their grilled octopus, so so so good and highly recommend.

The Ceviche Trio are my favourite! It's the third time I have it and you don't wanna miss out on it. Super fresh, super flavourful, fish texture is great not chalky and old! Not fishy. I really wish they open a location in LA! *Their side limo pepper is a must (if you like spicy, it elevates the ceviche to another whole new level)

We choose the indoor seating this time around, but I think I prefer the outdoor seating. Indoors was lovely. It was dark, sexy, no bugs, and the perfect temperature. We ordered: Faust wine 5/5 All the usual free apps 5/5 Grilled Octopus 5/5 Spicy Rigatoni 5/5 Veal Parmesan 5/5 The service was great! They had amazing team work to provide the perfect high class dinning for guest. I never had to think about water being refilled, wine glass being refilled, or crumbs on the table. They checked in with us just enough. Price: If you have drinks, apps, entree, and dessert expect to spend around $300 or more. Portions: Not the largest portions for "family size" but if it's just two it may be filling enough because they give you bread, cheese, cured meats, and pickled cauliflower for the appetizers. Overall, this is one of our favorite spots and it's truly worth the hype. For it being F1 weekend it was not as hectic as expected.

The reservations in NY are almost impossible to make. I had a nice solo dinner at 10pm outdoors. It was a beautiful Miami night. My table had a nice little lamp which set my mood. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, Funghi Trifolati (mushrooms), Pickled cauliflower, bread basket, salami and for dessert I had their lemon cheesecake. The shrimp are huge and are about $36 bucks a piece, i only had one. The mushrooms were good but salty, and the spicy rigatoni was underwhelming. It wasn't bad but my overall experience was just ok. I will say that the service was great! They were attentive and made recommendations being that it was myn first time. Overall I got to feel like a boss at a solo dinner at Carbones. Carbone is officiallyn checked off my list :-)

To be fair, service was pretty slow at first--we didn't even have menus for a while. The restaurant had a full buyout event earlier and seemed to be playing catch-up. Our waitress was very apologetic, but initially we were definitely frustrated with the wait. Once the food and drinks started coming out, though, everything changed. Every dish was absolutely delicious and felt elevated and luxurious. Our favorites were the spicy tuna crispy rice, lamb chops, and beetroot maki. This place absolutely lives up to the hype and is somewhere I'll definitely return to. After dinner, the downstairs space transformed into a lounge/club atmosphere. It was packed, the energy was amazing, and it ended up being such a fun spot for dancing and drinks. Highly recommend!

From the moment you…read morearrive, the experience feels exclusive, you check in with a doorman and are granted entry before taking an elevator up to what I believe is the third floor, where the hostess stand is located. The arrival alone creates a sense of anticipation and excitement. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere. It's also very lively, loud, and busy, which adds to the energy but may not be ideal if you're looking for a quiet dinner conversation. We ordered fish and cocktails, and both were excellent. The fish was fresh and well-prepared, while the cocktails were creative and enjoyable. The food and drinks certainly lived up to the restaurant's reputation. Service was okay, not bad, but not quite at the same level as the overall ambiance and food. Given how busy the restaurant was, that may have been a factor. Overall, Mila is a trendy, high energy spot that's worth experiencing at least once. The beautiful setting, exclusive entrance, and vibrant crowd make it a true Miami hotspot.
