Everything about this place was right! It's a little hole in the wall Cafe that is easy to miss. Don't miss it. The owner was so friendly and greeted me and my sons, even though we had never been there. We were in town for my mother's funeral and he and his other cook did an amazing job with our food. The Cuban sandwiches were delicious. The Cuban coffee was first class. He even gave us three chocolate chip cookies, on the house. This is the way it's supposed to be. I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Found this place by mistake. If you're looking for a delicious sandwich to go in the Downtown Dadeland area, this tucked away spot IS THE PLACE! Lived here my whole life and just found it. My tuna sandwich was the BEST. And they have "Best Lentil Soup in Town". Didn't try but that's what the food label says. Gonna try it next time. read more

Great little sandwich spot. This is where the old Au Bon Pain used to be located. Always busy but always quick to serve you. Fresh and reasonably priced. Tasty soups. You're not getting the real turkey breast of Roastsers 'n Toasters around the corner (nor the brisket or the single brisket cut of corned beef) but this place has prices that are typically about half as expensive as Roasters. Both are great assets to the neighborhood. read more

I've been going here since it opened, close to 20 years. The sandwiches are large and moderately priced with many great toppings available. The soups are also great, especially the shrimp corn chowder and chicken with rice. The owner is funny; it's lunch with comedy at no extra charge. read more

Great little casual deli spot with fresh, tasty sandwiches and quick/friendly service! Landed in Miami and wanted to get a quick to-go lunch that was easy to eat on my way to the beach. Dadeland Cafe delivered with a yummy Cuban sandwich perfectly pressed! Toasty bread, nice proportions, and fresh toppings made this a hearty - but not overly so - lunch at an affordable price! I can't express just how amazing this little gem is. If I could give 10 starts I seriously would. The vibes are like a new york/ italian little deli spot. Now the prices are seriously unbeatable. I work across the street, so I pretty much order 2-3 times a week. The 2 guys who cook, cashier, and are behind the counter are lovely. They remind my of my dad, just sweet and caring. This is our office go-to! The salads are large and made to order, and everything is extremely fresh. I recommend knowing what you would like to get before you reach the counter, because the line (despite usually long at lunchtime) moves fast. Tip: The salad combo includes a drink and chips, and it's just a few dollars more. Nice value! read more

My friend and I said it felt like we stepped into a New York City sandwich shop when we ate here. It's a little cramped but the food is great and had lots of good menu options. We all enjoyed our food - I had an omelette and my friends had sandwiches. There isn't much space to sit and it wouldn't be a great spot for a group. Definitely a quick stop if you're trying to get something on the go. Parking was also not ideal since it's located in the same building as a bank or some other business, so you have to park elsewhere and walk. read more

The reviews here don't lie. This little place is special. The food is fresh and the service quick. I have lived within a five-minute walk from this place for over four years and never even knew it existed! I was looking for something quick for lunch and saw the reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and it tasted delicious! The guy inside (maybe the owner?) let me try a little tomato bisque he had just made and let me tell you; from someone who loves all things tomato, this soup was the bomb! Hungry and in a rush?! This little hole in the wall located in Downtown Dadeland is the place you need to check out. This is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch! They have subs, salads, soups and deserts! Today I had one of my lunch favorites, Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The wrap contains grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions, melted cheese & buffalo ranch sauce. I love the fact that you are able to see your lunch being made is great! Everything is always fresh! My favorite time to visit them is always for breakfast! You are able to make your own omelette and add all and any veggies you want! read more

Dadeland cafe is a wonderful little cafe located in downtown dadeland. The service is quick and the food is delicious. My usual go to is the omelette on a Cuban toast with a small cafe con leche. The omelette can be built how you like by adding different kinds of meats, cheeses and vegetables. I opt in to load mine with spinach, onions, mushrooms, jalapeno, peppers, tomatoes and turkey! The coffee is also top notch, they add in some cinnamon to top it off and it really brings out the full flavor effect. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch whenever you are nearby! read more

Solid. Consistent. Fresh. Casual. This is your friendly neighborhood lunch spot. Great wraps, sandwiches and soups -- I usually stick to chicken salad, curry chicken salad and pastrami. You can load up the wraps with whatever they have - they're always overstuffed. The wraps here are like "burritos with a complex". Reasonable prices. Quick, efficient and very friendly.
