On this edition of Quarterly Homie Dinner, we hit the one year mark and decided to come out to Giselle and have ourselves a Miami Spice night. All of the homies had been here before except me, so I was curious to see if it would live up to what they had been saying. We started off at the bar while we waited for the whole crew to arrive. I had been drinking Gin before we pulled up and wanted to keep it light so I did the French Kiss, which was great choice. Once we sat down we looked through the regular menu and immediately decided we needed some Mac and Cheese, so we did two orders to start and put in our spice orders. I chose the Szechuan Calamari, Crispy Snapper, and the 24k Peanut Butter Bar. Other choices on the table were the Wagyu Dumplings, Filet Mignon, and Giselle's pearls. The mac and cheese was great, everyone was happy with it. I was kind of skeptical about my Snapper choice because I had seen the photo of the encrusted fish and I hate those kinds of dishes, but it came in thick chunks and it was also really good, and well portioned (major brownie points for that). I inhaled the calamari as well. Giselle's pearls was the stand out of the two desserts we picked. The 24kPB was good, but the pearls really hit the spot. Overall, zero complaints about the food/drinks. Big thanks to Manuel who took great care of us and was very accommodating with our party. Bartender was also a sweetheart. I think it lived up to the group's hype, would be down to come back!

Miami is full of popular restaurants that are very mid, this isn't one of them. This restaurant is worth the price and worth the hype. I'm a Miami local whenever a visitor asks me where to go, I tell them to come here. The ambience is very sophisticated and classy, servers are very attentive, and the food is to die for, with unique ingredients that mesh perfectly together giving you a true culinary experience- well worth the price!! The BEST restaurant in Miami.

Had a good time at Giselle. The ambiance, service and food are very good. I don't hear about Giselle as often as I used to, but after visiting I'm not sure why that's the case. We had the lobster pasta, sea bass, and wagyu dumplings. All were very good. The mojito was also one of the best I've had in a long time. Excited to go back.

Went on a day trip to Miami with some friends. I've been wanting to try Giselle for a long time and they had a good happy hour so we went. The happy hour was good with drink specials $9-11 and food specials around the same prices. The snapper bites were so tasty and so was the Caesar salad skewer. We also had lobster thermodor, the Mac and cheese, and mushroom escargot. Everything was very delicious and came out piping hot. The restaurant is magical, with a dining room in the back that looks like you're in the clouds. We were going to go down to E11even, but the bouncer was really rude and even though there was nobody inside the club at 9pm, was still going to charge us $40pp to just take a look inside.

Giselle Miami thank you for providing one of the best culinary experiences in Miami. While we were a little confused when we first arrived (we thought we were going to a club) the lady was so sweet and directed us to the elevator to the rooftop. Once we got off the elevator we were impressed with the beautiful aesthetics and the entire space overall. I can't leave this review without letting y'all know they have happy hour during the weekend! Yes, that means you can experience some of the regular menu items at basically half the price! With that being said of course we had to try the "Caviar Bump" that comes with a shot of tequila (Blanco or reposado) and Close to Midnight. With shots and drinks we were definitely ready for some good eats. I went with the Crispy Whole Snapper with an Ají Amarillo Aioli and Peruvian Salsa Criolla and my friend had the Mediterranean Branzino with Artichokes, Salsa Verde, and Romesco Sauce. For sides we shared the Pomme Puree (whipped mashed potatoes) and broccolini. Honestly, this may be the first time in a very long time where I have zero critiques/no complaints (10's across the board)! I hate that I can't remember our servers name but she was so nice and took her time to answer any and all the questions that we had. With the stellar service and delicious food, Giselle has a new customer and I will most definitely be back to visit again when I'm back in Miami.

Giselle is what every visitor to Miami expects for a fun night out with good food, people watching and music in a trendy setting. What surprised me was the excellent service, from start to finish. I arrived early and had a drink at the bar, served by a gorgeous, knowledgeable and polite bartender. As it was early, I probably paid attention to the others at the bar more than I would normally, and it was a very colorful, diverse mix. Beautiful people dressed to the nines, a few couples and a few who were obviously tourists. Great start! The highlights included the dumplings, truffle fries and Snapper. I am a French fry purist, but these changed my mind! I would skip the tuna with caviar over rice appetizer. This one hurt as it was highly recommended by our server. The proportion is just wrong. The mushrooms as a main side were also rather pedestrian. I know we had multiple desserts, but I can't remember them. A big plus for me is that we were rooftop, but it is fully enclosed. Smart and perfect for Miami's unpredictable weather. Since it's clear, you won't miss a thing.

Giselle Miami absolutely delivers on every level, this is hands down a 5-star bar experience. From the moment we sat down, our bartender Sebastian set the tone with incredible service; attentive, knowledgeable, and effortlessly cool. He guided us through the menu with great recommendations and made the entire night feel elevated without ever being over the top. We started with the Short Rib Bao Bun, which was unreal. Perfectly tender Japanese BBQ short rib with just the right balance of cilantro, aioli, and pickles. Every bite was packed with flavor. The Giselle Burger was next level. An 8 oz prime patty cooked to perfection, topped with caramelized onions and truffle aioli, paired with crispy fries that we couldn't stop picking at. It's one of those burgers you keep thinking about after you leave. And the Ají Amarillo Tiradito was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully done. The coconut leche de tigre added such a unique, slightly sweet twist that made the dish stand out in the best way. Between the ambiance, the music, and Sebastian's top-tier service, Giselle's bar is the kind of place you go for a drink and end up staying all night. We are already planning our next visit.

Excellent food, service and overall experience. Our server Martin had great recommendations, he checked in our us and was absolutely charming. We did the surf and turf with the flaming lobster thermidore (yummy!) the NY strip steak was cooked to perfection and the Gisselle sauce was my favorite.

I visited this past weekend and I can say honestly it's probably one of my favorite restaurants I have tried. The restaurant rooftop itself is beautiful. Great aesthetic, beautiful indoor/outdoor dinner space as well as the bar. Amazing vibes. The wait staff was incredible, very attentive and provided amazing service. The food and drinks were just wow. I think we ordered most things off the menu, and every dish I tried (minus the meat because I'm pescatarian) was very delicious. Because of this reason, they brought out an alternative to the beef carpaccio, but made with beets, the flavor profile was insanely good. I ordered a cappuccino martini- I've been dreaming about it since. The sushi, fried fish chunks, beet carpaccio, Caesar salad , creamy mushrooms, the fries, etc Everything was soooo good and I'm definitely coming back for more.

A wonderful rooftop experience. We were invited to this fancy place. We knew we were under dressed the moment we came in. Then I saw some dishes are in hundreds of dollars. We ended up with a family dinner and the waiters were very carefully prepared and served to our individual plates. They did a wonderful job. Loved steak, fried snapper, and tuna appetizer. Wagyu dumplings were a bit disappointing as the wrapper became hard the chew. Sushi tower with the fancy firework was decent but not the best. Probably won't be my personal choice next time.

Giselle Restaurant offers a truly elegant and upscale dining experience. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding customer service. The atmosphere is inviting, stylish, and perfect for a special night out. Our server Manuel, was exceptional !! He was very knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent recommendations and helped us choose the Chef's Centerpiece for Two. We also tried the dumplings, which were absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. One unique touch I loved was that after the meal, they brought warm essential oil towels to refresh your hands, which was especially nice after enjoying seafood. It made the experience feel even more luxurious. Be sure to save room for dessert! They have a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Giselle Restaurant if you're looking for outstanding food, excellent service, and a memorable fine dining experience. It's definitely worth a visit!!

Visiting Giselle was a great experience. One I loved but will probably not repeat often because it's not everyday you drop $400 on a dinner. Met here with a group of ladies for a birthday celebration. Don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful, great vibe, awesome customer service and yummy food. We had a wonderful night and did not hold back... perhaps too many bottles? Nah, never too many lol. Specially when celebrating someone special.

Instead, I stumbled upon Koana Tiki Bar--a hidden little chamber of tropical enchantment tucked away from the ordinary world. As Miami's only tiki bar, Koana is surprisingly well themed. It is a smaller establishment, which explains why reservations are required, but the intimate setting only adds to the charm. Once inside, the outside world seems to disappear beneath warm lighting, exotic décor, and the unmistakable feeling that something mysterious is being prepared behind the bar. The food is available, but Koana truly shines through its drink menu. The team has clearly done its research and assembled some serious heavy hitters. My companions and I visit whenever we're in Miami, and we've sampled nearly every drink on the menu. I have yet to encounter a bad one. They are fairly priced for Miami, though their strength should not be underestimated. These are not casual refreshments--they are potent little potions disguised as tropical cocktails. The staff is always kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. They're happy to explain the drinks and guide you toward something that suits your taste, whether you seek something sweet, sour, smoky, fruity, or powerful enough to summon your ancestors. During my visit, I combined several ingredients from the menu into a highly experimental concoction. After one sip, my allergies vanished completely. After the second, I could smell colors. By the third, I was convinced the palm trees were speaking to me in ancient tongues. I have no idea what was in that drink, but my sinuses were clear, my spirit was elevated, and I briefly achieved enlightenment beneath a decorative tiki mask. Reservations are essential, the drinks are strong, and the bar is small--but Koana is absolutely worth seeking out. Just be certain you're prepared for whatever spirits may answer when you raise your glass.

The service was okay, it felt like the food took long to come out, considering there weren't a lot of diners there. Two of us had the picanha, it was good but it was à la carte, so I ordered potatoes with like a chili oil topping as a side. Split that with my daughter who ordered the mahi mahi and really enjoyed the mahi. The last person in our party ordered a chicken dish, I think it might have been Asian style; she said it was okay.

From the moment we sat down, the guy looked annoyed that we were there. Zero greeting, zero eye contact. We waited almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged while he was chatting with another customers at the other end of the bar. When he finally took our order, he barely listened. I asked for a classic Old Fashioned and he brought me something that tasted like watered-down whiskey with too much bitters and a random orange slice thrown in. My friend's whiskey sour was unbalanced -- definitely not worth the $18 price tag. I politely mentioned to recommend us another drinks options he just shrugged and said "we don't have that" Not offer another choice or an apology. The drinks were mediocre at best, but his attitude made it worse. He ignored us most of the night and acted annoyed every time we ordered. Zero professionalism. The place has a great vibe but with service like this, is not worth to spend almost $200 dollars there for few drinks. I don't remember his name but he was tall, Latin and maybe from Colombia. We just wanted to report his behavior to management but in a Saturday's night you just don't want to ruined more. Next.
