For a fun evening in South Shore, don't miss Aex Ramon at Harvey's casino. I wsan't expecting much, since we've seen dozens of shows, but Ramon brings something unexpected and different (I don't want to ruin the surprise) to the stage. He is charming, funny, and his illusions and slight of hand are mesmerizing. The venue isn't large, and it's first come, first in, so I recommend getting there 45 min before the show if you want to be in the front. There really isn't a bad seat, as the theatre only holds approx. 200 people. read more

Family and I attended on a visit to Tahoe from Texas. Hands down the best money we spent on the entire trip! Alex's show is AMAZING and he's a gifted entertainer. By the end of the show Alex had involved more than half the audience in one illusion or another. It's clear he loves what he does and but equally impressive was his kindness. After the show he spent almost 15 minutes talking with my family and sharing wedding planning tips with my daughter. My husband and I attended Alex's show with our 9 year old daughter on a whim and it was the highlight of our week-long vacation and a memory that we will always cherish. Alex is a gifted magician, and more than that, he has true gratitude for the life that he has and for each person that comes to see him. He involves many children from the audience in his act, and my daughter got to participate in a trick. This has lit a fire in her about magic and she tells everyone about her experience. I have never met another entertainer more generous with their time. He made himself available for photos and conversation after the show. I watched as he connected with each guest, giving them his undivided attention. I can't decide which is better - the magic or the man. We will go back next time.
