The whole staff took the time to send me pictures of the items, answer my questions, and shipped everything wrapped so well my wife knew I didn't do it. Lee and his staff have taken great care of me and my family, so much so that I send anything that needs repair to him, LOL, as I did today. He calls me, asks what the heck I did to the watch, ring, bracelet, I tell him, he laughs, and gets me back the item better than new.

Leading up to my visit I did call the store to ensure turnaround times as well as cost. Upon arriving at the store, I must say it is absolutely beautiful with obviously only display watches. And the gentleman who helped me branyon was super nice and friendly and helpful. In fact, he even beat the turnaround time that was quoted to me over the phone by the store earlier in the week. He even went above and beyond by offering to show me watches, even though I had not made a separate sales appointment. That was very kind and very tempting of him. I must say unfortunately this trip was not for shopping. It was for a family celebration. I will say if I do ever have to get my watch serviced again I will definitely come back here. Flying to Atlanta from Chicago is barely 2 hours and not expensive at all. And getting to this location is super easy right outside of the city. I wish I had more time during this visit. I ordered a 4, and the ring we received was a full size too large. When we brought it in to resize, it seemed fine for about a week before the baguettes became noticeably loose. A second, independent jeweler examined the ring and told us plainly that the platinum band needed to be fully recast, because the resizing work itself had compromised the ring's structural integrity. We brought it back to DDUSA, who recast the ring. Weeks later, once we got it back, we took it to yet another independent jeweler for an unbiased opinion, and one of the baguettes was already loose again. After three separate attempts, DDUSA has been unable to deliver a structurally sound ring. I can neither give nor recommend any business to DDUSA.

Nick's father joined him on the second visit, and the experience became something far more meaningful than a simple repair. He shared the rich history of the business -- how the craft was passed down from his own father, and how they've been serving their community with this rare and deeply respected knowledge for quite some time. Listening to him explain the parts and the mechanics of a clock that has been in my family since 1984 was genuinely fascinating. I also had the privilege of experiencing their annual event, held the day before we spring forward, where the chimes ring out in celebration. It was a wonderful moment that perfectly captured how Champ's Clocks has become a true staple of their local community -- a business that genuinely appreciates the people it serves. During the event, we also had the chance to browse their inventory -- which was incredible -- and found the perfect clock for an upcoming milestone birthday. If they do not have the clock for you, then you don't need a clock. We left our clock for repair and we were told up front that it may be several months before they could complete the work. Alex and Vera were great! I was visiting Sandy Springs for a week and noticed my solitaire needed repair. I took it to Alex. It looks amazing now! I couldn't be happier with his price or his craftmanship. I also showed him my diamond band which was missing a small diamond and had a couple more cracked stones. He offered to repair it for a quarter the price of what my hometown jeweler quoted. Again, it looks amazing! I told them I was leaving town on Saturday. Great service, excellent support. I went in to get a battery for my wife's Fendi Crazy Carats watch. Fendi wanted a minimum of $50 + shipping and handling and a 6 week waiting period just to determine if the battery was the issue.
