Was told inconsistent information about when it would be ready and when I went to get watch back I was lied to about the situation and then yelled at and had cops called on me. Never go to K 1 Jewelers!! We had a terrible experience there! My husband and I brought in my diamond wedding band to check to see if any of the 8 diamonds were loose. One of them appeared to be a bit loose. Mehren assured us he would check carefully. He told us that it would take one week. After that time we called to see if it was ready. We were told they were still working on it. After several weeks it was STILL not done. We finally went into the store and they said to come back in one hour. When we returned, they never apologized for the delay and Mehren was actually rude!! We then took it to another jeweler who told us several stones were loose!! K 1 Jewelers did not do their job properly and their customer service was terrible! read more

We wish we had never found this place. We were simply looking for a jeweler to set a center stone for us. After reading reviews on Yelp, we took it to K-1 and met with Mehran, the owner. He explained that he would try to set it in our setting, and if he couldn't we would have to change the head, no problem. We left the center stone and both rings (the wedding set) with him. He was going to clean/polish them (he specifically mentioned it would remove surface scratches) and also check the prongs/settings at the same time. He was busy, no problem, we waited patiently- and then received a call about 2 weeks later that it was ready. Mehran told my husband we needed to make sure it was insured, just in case, when he went in to pick it up. In addition to inspections by him. He left with it, after Mehran assured him that he had spent many, many additional hours working on it. A few days later, I tried it on and my son (who has better vision than me!) said something looked off with one of the stones. I took it to a large jeweler that someone recommended. He allowed us to look at it under a loupe- this particular side stone and 2 others were loose, and we could see that a few of the prongs weren't even holding the stones in place! I couldn't believe it. Furthermore, the center stone that Mehran had set was not even straight, under the loupe you could tell was not done properly. It wasn't cleaned/polished either, as there were many scratches all over. I was shocked and not happy, as any one of those stones could have fallen out at any time. We spent good money with Mehran and couldn't go back to him, as we no longer trusted him- especially with something so special and valuable as our wedding set. I had to let others know about our experience so no one else is taken by him. Now we have to save up and spend more money, and find someone else to do this all over again. So disappointing. Maybe he can do watch repairs, but please don't trust him with anything more unless you want to risk losing your precious jewelry like we almost did. read more

A horrible experience! My fiancé and I went into K1 Jewelry after reading good reviews. I imagine they must have paid family members to write those reviews because we had a terrible experience!! The staff members, especially someone named Mehran, were rude and seemed like they were not interested in finding out what we were looking for. I needed a battery replaced for my Timex Expedition watch and went to a watch store off Hwy 92 in Roswell. The clerk there was unfriendly and almost seemed offended that I asked him to service my watch. He complained that it was a very difficult process to change the battery and then he quoted a price that was utterly ridiculous! He went so far as to suggest I simply buy another watch! Then I went to K-1 Jewelers and the experience there was as different as night and day! I had the pleasure of meeting Mehran who was as friendly and helpful as the aforementioned person was not! Not only did he replace the battery in a matter of minutes but he charged me almost three times LESS than the other store clerk had quoted! I went in with an idea of what I wanted and his artisan craftsmanship, along with digital prototyping, created the most BEAUTIFUL ring...superseding my expectation!!! The icing on the cake was when he said if I had any old gold I wanted to trade in and or use for the ring, it would help in defraying the cost. I was referred to K-1 Jewelry from a good friend who said she had been going to them for years! I had a small metal part on my earring that had gotten weak and broke, she told that they have small soldering tools they use to repair jewelry, I was sold. I dropped off my earrings and in a week later they were finished. He looked at the other earring and went ahead and reinforced the metal on that one as well at no charge! The man and woman, I'm assuming the owners, that helped me were so nice and helpful! When I picked up my earrings they had also been cleaned and they were beautiful!
