Stumbled upon this company thanks to Instagram in spring (I believe) of 2025, and I checked it out. Fast forward to November 2025 and I finally decided to pull the trigger. I went in on a Thursday, and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. I wanted to get the taillights, 3rd brake light, and rear reflectors smoked out. I was quoted about 2-2.5 hr turnaround. I dropped the car at 2:00, and I pulled away before 4:00. Randy was fast and knocked it out ahead of the quoted time. He really knows his stuff! I couldn't be happier, and will certainly go back for some other customization in the future.

They always treated me fairly and did not try to rip off customers like other tire places. I had (notice the use of past tense) such positive experiences there that I recommended the store to several other people. Today that all changed...dramatically. I noticed one of my tires was leaking so I went to the shop at about 3:15. I got in right away. I was told that I actually needed two front tires. I agreed to that as well as an alignment and to have the tires balanced. New tires got mounted pretty quickly. Then a worker came and got my keys (actually there was already another set in the car) to do the alignment. Then I waited and waited and waited. Numerous people came in the store, had their vehicle serviced and left. Not me though. I waited, waited and waited some more. Very little communication from the El Camino staff. When I asked what was taking so long, I was told there were people ahead of me and they were "working on it." Then I waited, waited and waited some more. It got to the point that I was virtually the only one left in the waiting room. The staff had to know I was getting upset, yet they did ZERO to address my frustration. Finally, at almost 6 pm, when I had been there nearly 3 hours, I went to the desk and demanded my car back, that I would just pay for whatever work was done, and leave. That apparently sparked them to actually finish the work. I finally got the keys back 10 minutes later. I paid the bill and left. I understand that maybe the work on my vehicle "fell through the cracks" or for some reason was taking longer than expected. That happens in this line of business. But there is no excuse for the lack of communication and the unwillingness to treat a longtime customer without even a modicum of respect. They apparently didn't value my business or care that after such a poor experience I would be unlikely to ever come back and would certainly not recommend it to my friends. I would not recommend this place after what I experienced today.

He ended up taking the car to Walmart, where they were able to properly repair the tire. When he contacted El Camino to request a refund for the unsuccessful repair, they refused. That experience was disappointing and concerning, especially since tire repairs directly affect safety. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business for tire repairs. Instead, I suggest Discount Tire or Belle Tire. They offer free tire repairs when possible and stand behind their work.

So my I sent a male friend in to the shop and he was given an approx. Price of 240 for the labor for the replacing of my alternator. So I get my part and take it in. Now it was the wrong part so we had to find a replacement. Now they could tell the part I brought didnt work without putting it on. So no additional labor. Now they tell me that they can get a part, the first part was going to be $200 but that one didnt work so they had to get another and the second one ended up being 150. Now they told me that the price of going to get the part was included. Now Im not sure if bc they had to go get the part or what happened. But after he told me this I asked the clerk okay how much am I up to with the part now she said 400 and something. I SAID OKAY. Now bc I had to replace the alternator I had to go get my battery and take it and get another bring it back to the shop for them to complete the job. Now when they ring everything up it an extra 100 bring total to over 500. Now to some that might not be nothing but I budget down to the penny so to say I was upset was an understatement. Now did they do great work. YES THEY DID BUT WHEN PPL ASK FOR HOW MUCH TELL THEM THE FIRST TIME. ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU HAD MY CAR AND SAY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!!!! Communication is key!

Apparently my cap for my antifreeze was also not placed on all the way and it came off and spilled all over my engine which caused it to almost overheat today. If you're getting basic stuff it's fine, but just know your stuff and check their work.
