This is the second car that we have had to Darrings detail to get PPF. Our 2023 Tesla with PPF on the nose, withheld the sand in Arizona the sand in Florida the brutal beating in Maine and the cold temperatures of North Dakota. I cannot say enough about Rod and the whole crew. we took our 2026 model Y to have Darrings detail apply PPF to it although they were extremely busy he actually took us in on a Sunday when they were closed treated us like royalty and identified a dent that we completely missed when we took delivery. We notified Tesla and believe it or not, they showed the dent in their pre-delivery photos that they took of the car so after much running around and talking to people, Tesla finally is taken care of it. I scheduled a detail for our older minivan following a long road trip. I called ahead and got on the calendar. I was told we'd be charged hourly based on how long it took to finish the service. I met Rod when dropping off in the morning and liked him instantly. I knew the family vehicle was in good hands. The Darring team did an amazing job on a full service wash and detail of our very loved minivan. At 155k miles, our van definitely gets lived in. We bought it used from a dealership and it had been detailed for sale. I was looking for a place to do exterior detailing and get some minor scratches and dents buffed out. Darrings Detail was mentioned a number of times and seemed like "the place" to get that done. Talking to the owner left a really good impression and I'm always happy to support a local business. I scheduled an appt to drop of my car for a few hours and listed all the imperfections that I wanted to square away. The work was done in time and the staff communicated very well. I can't say the same about the thoroughness though - some of the dents on the door trims as well as some scratches on the rear bumper we're missed, so I had to point them out and wait for touch ups. Overall, I think it could have gone better given the price point, however, the car did look better than before and it's almost like new now. read more

My car was completely COVERED in THICK tar from a construction truck spraying across 465. From headlights to taillights it was THICK and STICKY. I went to Darrings basically just to get a quote so I could file a claim but the prices seemed very reasonable and they seemed confident they could get the job done so I set up an appointment with them. To say I am pleased with the results would be an understatement! Unfortunately I haven't been able to get any "After" pictures due to the snowy / cold weather we are currently having but I pretty much thought the paint was ruined but they made the paint about as good as 15 year old paint could be! My 2021 GMC took a pounding and in the post-COVID world, the insurance folks did most of the "estimating" online. Rod was able to take photos and videos of the damage and communicate directly with the insurance company to make sure all the damages were covered for repair, and then (somehow) managed to get my truck looking like new again - without paint or bondo or drilling holes. Rod even hopped on a FaceTime call before I took it in to ensure he was able to access the dent areas. When they were done, I couldn't even tell there were dents to begin with. The last time I got my car detailed it was from a local guy who charged me half as much as Darring's ($125 vs $250) to have my Mustang fully detailed. That guy did a great job and I was very happy with it. However, the detailing I got Darring's is special. My car, 110k miles and copious salty winter and potholes later, looks like it did coming off the showroom floor. The paint, the interior, the engine, the undercarriage... everything is perfect. With Darring's you aren't getting a "deal", but you are getting an excellent product for your money. I definitely recommend them if you want your car to look like new again. read more

I just bought a 2012 Toyota Prius from a used car dealer. The interior was a bit shabby, and there were deposits of dried tree sap on the hood. I wanted to spring for getting it detailed so it would feel a little bit more like a new car. I was shocked by what Rod and his team were able to do with it! I was expecting it to just "clean up OK," but it looks practically new! My car is obviously nothing fancy, but I felt that it received the same level of care and attention as the Porsche they were also working on that day. I really enjoyed my interactions with Rod. Rod is super down to earth which I really appreciated. He's also got a great group of friendly employees too which is awesome! I had just purchased a new car and wanted to protect it the best I could from the get go. I found Darrings through Yelp and the A-list. I stopped in towards the end of the day and Rod spent about an hour discussing the clear film with me. I appreciated that Rod was willing to schedule me on the weekend while the shop was closed to minimize the traffic and dust around when the film was being applied. The finished result looked great! The only issue now is I really wish I could have afforded to wrap the whole car! holy smokes, these guys are PROFESSIONAL. really in every sense of the word. i was so very impressed! i spilled an entire pineapple mango smoothie down the side of my seat (in my NEW CAR UGH) on the way to work yesterday. i was despairing...i knew i'd never be able to get all the sticky out myself. i pondered taking the seats off by the bolts. but then the wonderful Roderick entered the scene - he reassured me (via my email at work, no less!) that he could get it handled in a half hour for a fraction of what i feared it would cost. i went over there after lunch and he had me in and out before i had time to finish a chapter of my book. and my seat is spotless. you literally cannot tell that anything happened. no stickiness, no stain on the seat, no smell (except CLEAN!)...nothing! :) also Roderick and his staff were amazingly polite, professional, clean cut guys. despite the fact that i was in there with my little subaru, spending a fraction of what i'm sure most people spend, i was treated like a valued, respected client. these guys have earned my business FOREVER. thank you Roderick and staff! :) read more
