Dr. Smith was different--he's a great guy, and he seems to treat every patient like a good friend. He's also really good at what he does. He did a few scans of my eyes and, after showing me some visual charts, explained what we were looking at and what that meant. He even figured out a small (thankfully not serious) problem I've had with my eyes for years...something that eluded several other doctors. The office is really small, but that's not really a bad thing. It's tucked into the Sheffield Plaza in Aliquippa, and they get a lot of mileage out of their space. The waiting area was comfy, and they had a nice selection of new glasses that I was able to sort through. The staff was quite helpful too, and they managed to easily juggle a half-dozen patients at the same time without alienating any of them. So, the long and short: great place, great people.

Over the years he's referred me for additional testing, as needed and he's fully gained my trust and respect for his professionalism and skills. When I need glasses, he has gotten my prescription perfect every time. The adjustment period to the new lenses has literally been just a few minutes. I've always found frames I loved at his office easily, too.
