Dr. Lindsay and her team of amazing and caring staff will take excellent care of you. I tend to be a difficult customer and they have been 100% professional and authentic during my multiple interactions. While their selection of eyewear is smaller than others, it's largely because they only offer quality products. But if you need something they don't have, they can usually order what you are seeking of work small miracles to accommodate you. If you need an eye doctor in the North Hills area of PA, look no further. I have been seeing them for about 10 years, and I've had nothing but success with them. My most recent trip has been the best: I needed to set up an appointment for lasik - when I got to the appointment, the office had been totally renovated and is beautiful. I was seen promptly, and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Lindsay explained the lasik procedure, and told me the best time to get it (for discounts). They reached out to have the Lasik center squeeze me in for a consultation that same day, since I'm out of town, and are able to squeeze me in for an appointment when their office isn't open to be able to accommodate my far distance. I felt like my best interests were in mind the whole time, and they made my inconvenience work!! I can't thank them enough. 10/10!!! read more

Get ready for a fitness test for your eyes, seriously! Went here for my normal once a year check up and boy was I impressed! I had been going to the same eye doctor my entire life and unfortunately I moved and he was very much out of the way. So being that my office is right down the road from here, I figured I would give them a try! Called for an appointment and was given one for about 2 weeks later. Easy enough! Arriving there they have a small parking lot but their building isn't that big either. Super cute though! The inside is fabulous! Nice dark hardwood floors, cute furniture, and nicely decorated. Really feel warm and welcoming. After checking in I was taken back into what I'm calling the testing room. I believe I was at 3 different machines for different eye tests which I have never gone through before. Super thorough! I really liked the one that tested your peripheral vision, you got a clicker and had to click every time you saw a light. Thankfully I passed all my tests yay! Next i met with my doctor, Dr.Caitlin McCauley. She is SO nice, sweet, and seriously knows what she is talking about. She explained everything in so much depth and made sure I understood it all before I left. My eye were worse than I knew(she told me stuff my other doctor never did) but nothing some good contacts and/or glasses can't fix! She ordered some contacts for me to try but I really didn't like them so I ended up with the ones I usually get. They ordered them for me and I picked them up less than a week later. Only thing I was kinda "eh" about was that I was charged a fee for a contact lens consult. Now I think its just because I had been going to the same doctor for years that is super old school (like doesn't even have a computer old school) so there wasn't ever an additional charge. So I wasn't aware that this was normal and most places do this, so if you are like me and had no idea now you know! BTW I have no problem with this, I just wasn't aware! I will be back for them to take care of my green eyes!! read more

I want to start by saying that the staff there are all very friendly and knowledgeable, however I have not had a good experience there. I have a chronic eye condition that requires me to get a hard contact lens for one eye. Typically I had to go to Oakland to get all this done and I wanted to see if I could find somewhere closer to home. I got new glasses, lenses and a new hard lens here. First they lost the order for my eyeglasses. They never realized this until about a month after my visit and I called having not heard anything. When I got them the prescription was far too strong and they had to back it off. So getting my glasses took over two months. For my hard lens it took time to get that correct as well, but that is expected. It also took me several times asking my Oakland optometrist to get my records faxed to them. McCauley-Celin at first said they never received them, but they then found them in another computer system. When the first lens didn't fit quite right I went to the Wexford office to get it checked and left my lens there as it needed to be returned. When my new lens came they asked for my old one and apparently it was lost out there or somewhere. I paid for my lens with my FSA account but then was told that it should be covered under my insurance and that they would take care of it. That didn't happen so I called to ask about it. They never got back to me so I went to their Gibsonia office and they said that they owed me money and it was fixed. This all again took several months. If you just need glasses and lenses and are fairly routine in your needs, you'll probably be fine. But I'm going back to Oakland I guess. The office staff just can't handle anything. read more

I have seen two doctors at McCauley Celin's and have had great results with each. They helped find the right fit of contacts for my eyes and also the perfect glasses for my every day wear and night time wear. They had a great deal on purchasing two pair so it wasn't breaking the bank. The doctors explain this as they go - without being asked. I learned more in 20 minutes about my eyes from Dr. McCauley than the 23 years I had seen any other doctor. So happy I found them! read more

I have been a patient with this group of eye doctors for over 50 years since it was Perka, McCauley and Celin in West View. They have grown is number of doctors and staff and have expanded their number of offices. Their offices are clean and friendly, the staff is knowledgeable and professional and the doctors are excellent. Dr McCauley fitted me with my first pair of hard contacts and has continued to upgrade as the lenses improved. He is honest and detailed in his explanations. I would recommend this practice to anyone. read more

I went to McCauely Celin for the first time last month and found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable! I'm wearing contacts for the first time and they are awesome! My last eye doctors office was stuffy and the staff was indifferent - not at MC! I've had to call the MC office to work out issues with my contacts and they went out of their way to accommodate me. I'm excited that I found such a nice group so close to home! The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because they don't have any evening hours. They do have Saturdays which is helpful. read more

Love the Docs, the eye glasses are completely up to par or FAR exceeding other boutique glasses shops. The ladies don't rush you or hover. I despise when eye glass people hover. They always show you what just arrived. Have all the top brands-Prada, Dior, Miu Miu, Burberry, Tiffanys, etc....ALWAYS satisfied with my eye care trips! read more

I've now seen two of the doctors here and both of them were just wonderful. I had a bit of a problem with the staff where my insurance did not cover all my procedures. This the only reason they lost that one star. Overall, this is a great practice and I highly recommend them. read more

They gave me the wrong contacts 3 times! A waste of time and a waste of my eye insurance as I get one visit/year. I'll never go back and wouldn't recommend them. Three offices may seem convenient but just added to the confusion as the communication between each was awful. Run! read more

My family has been going to McCauley Celin since I can remember. My kids are 18 and 16 and I think my husband and I were going there before they were born. I am a new patient. I called to make an appointment for a yearly exam. I got an appointment within days of my phone call. I arrived at the Doctors office about 3 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I completed the preliminary paperwork and within minutes of completion of the paperwork I was escorted back to the testing room. Upon completion of the necessary eye tests, I was taken back to the exam room . Dr. Emily entered within a minute. She was very prompt, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Every associate that I came in contact with during my entire experience, from my original phone call, to my departure from the office were very friendly, and professional . I was referred to McCauley Celin by two of my friends after my long time eye Dr. passed away and I needed my yearly diabetic eye exam. Appointment process was simple enough and only waited about 15 mins. before an associate lead me to an exam room for what I'd call a complete eye exam and history. Dr Robert McCauley came in after a 15 minute wait but apologized immediately and started to find out what my needs were and made suggestions about different options of care. I was relived that he didn't pressure me in any way and assured me he would send a follow-up report to my PCP. Since my eyes were ok, I made another appointment for next year.
