    I had an appointment scheduled for noon for 4 new tires. I confirmed the appointment by phone the…read moreday prior, along with the price of the tires I scheduled. I arrived around 11:40am for my appointment and was asked if I would be waiting or dropping off. I informed them I would be waiting since it shouldn't take all day, or so I thought. I waited about 2 hours with my toddler before they even brought the car back to the garage. At this point, it is 2pm. While it was still sitting in the parking lot, I heard the lady at the front desk say that many people had called out today and that they were behind. If I'd known that, I would have arranged for someone to pick us up so I wouldn't have had to wait all day by myself with her. If they had only had 3 people working, they could have given me a call to ask if I wanted to reschedule or to inform me that it would take much longer than usual. Once my car was in the garage, it then sat for another hour before anyone touched it, bringing me to 3pm. From 3pm to 4pm, they spent the whole time getting the 4 tires on, and I still had to wait for an alignment. While waiting, my toddler had a terrible bloody nose that wouldn't stop bleeding. I thought maybe they would move a little faster, so I could get out of there and change her bloody clothes and feed her (I know it is not their fault or responsibility for her bloody nose, it was just another inconvenience). Around 4pm, I was told that all that was left was the alignment, that I should be out of there soon, and that I could pay now. I saw the total and asked to see the invoice, and I also have the military discount applied. The assistant manager said he would need to redo that and would go over it with me. He then decided to do an interview, even though he could have helped customers at the front, where he was supposed to be, or helped get cars done faster. Around 5:30pm, I saw my car sitting in the parking lot, so I asked if I could pay. I was told the total and I could see the military discount wasn't applied, and I didn't see what I was charged for. The discount was applied, but it still seemed a little expensive since I confirmed the quote the day before and at noon when I came in. I needed to leave because my daughter needed to eat, and she was there for 5 1/2 hours. I was told to wait for the keys after I paid. I had to inform the assistant manager that the keys were behind him, and it was done. I also noticed multiple people have their cars done before mine, and some didn't have an appointment. On the phone, they would tell customers to come later in the day, knowing they were backed up. Once I got home, I was looking over my receipt and noticed I was charged for the wrong tires, more expensive ones. I went back and looked at my confirmation email to make sure I scheduled the right ones, which I did. When the price was confirmed twice, it was for the tires I selected, which were $119. I was charged $155.99 for each tire. The time frames are a rough estimate, but I did get there for my appointment before noon and didn't leave until 5:30pm. This is my first time coming to this location, but my family has been here before and waited for a while. I will not be going back.

    I took my SUV to Midas Bensalem for an engine replacement covered under my warranty. The shop…read moreinstalled a remanufactured ATK engine Despite multiple requests, they refused to provide any warranty documentation for the installation--even though I'm the registered owner and paid the deductible. Through independent research, I confirmed that the engine comes with a 3-year, unlimited mileage warranty through ATK Yet Midas denied knowledge of this warranty and flatly refused to provide documentation confirming it information I am legally entitled to under both Pennsylvania and federal law. The repair took over 5 weeks (June 2-July 12), an excessive and unexplained delay. Then, on July 20, I discovered major oversights: the ECU connectors were not locked into place, and the negative battery terminal was left loose. These aren't minor issues. The ECU (engine control unit) connectors have built-in locking mechanisms to ensure secure, uninterrupted communication between the engine and the vehicle's electrical system. If they come loose, it can cause misfires, no-start conditions, stalling, or even permanent damage. Likewise, a loose battery terminal can cause intermittent electrical failure, data loss, or leave you stranded. Both are basic but critical checks that should never be missed in any engine installation. Given the lack of transparency, the excessive delay, and the refusal to provide legally required warranty documentation, I intend to pursue this matter in small claims court in the coming weeks!! I'm also considering going to local media. This experience reflects a troubling lack of accountability and professionalism. Based on how I was treated, I cannot in good conscience recommend this Midas location to anyone
