can't say enough about country meadows and their incredible staff. Krystal Spinella, director of…read moreresident services is amazing. she is friendly, helpful, kind, quick to respond and goes above and beyond to help her residents and their family. My mom has been a resident there since the end of march and has made lots of friends. overall, I rate them a 5

After touring numerous facilities we begged for admittance at country meadows. The biggest plus there is that they are well staffed and my dad would have the proper care that was necessary, the patient to staff ratio was one of the highest I saw and this makes a big difference in the care you would receive. (previously, prior to the amputation he was at New Eastwood in Easton where he'd press a call button and over an hour and a half later would soil himself because nobody responded, so staffing number's definitely count)..... Throughout the whole stay at Country Meadows the staff all cared for my father very well, he liked some of the food and some he did not. Although he got a bed ulcer, he previously had the start of it at the hospital so CM was definitely not to blame. Their showers are clean and easy accessible and they have the staff to bathe residents twice a week. They even have a salon to get your hair washed in the interim. Everyone there was accommodating to his needs and would recommend them to anyone looking for short term rehabilitation or even long term care. I felt that my dad was safe there every time I left from a visit.

During Covid times, I was able to see my new (PCP) primary care physician. I am so happy with Dr…read more Paul as he was personable, focused, has attention to detail and asks the right questions to get to the root of the problem. The layout of the office is very clean with a modern touch. Just remember that the office is street level so parking street side would be better off if you were like me with excruciating pain. If you park in the assigned parking lot you will have to climb the stairs and go to the right. I had excruciating pain going down my right leg so, I admitted myself into Lehigh Valley emergency room. They ran blood tests, urinalysis and CAT scan and found nothing. Nor could they infer anything (young doctor I suppose). The next day I went to go see Dr. Paul and he was extremely thorough with what the root cause was but you have to tell him everything so that he can deduce the proper procedure to recovery. I had a strained muscle in my lumbar about three weeks before and did not think that was the root problem since it only took me a day to recover. But, it turned out it was! I can't recommend enough to try to persuade anyone that this is one of the best doctors out there. I know they are hard to find so, I am definitely sticking with Dr. Paul. Give him a try even if you have a current primary care physician. I guarantee you you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Paul and his assistant Donna are particularly, GOOD and HONEST people. Dr. Paul is so easy to talk to and he actually listens, and then takes the time to explain to you whats going on and what the best route of treatment is. He is very knowledgeable! He's been my doctor for going on 3 years now and I still enjoy seeing him for his fantastic advice and passion for results. He genuinely wants to help people save their own lives and live healthy as possible in todays world. I truly got lucky finding Advanced Primary Care. A place that I can trust, and that actually cares. Best Family Doctor or PCP I've met in the valley and I've lived here over 20 years. Thank you guys for everything you do !

Unfortunately this care center lacks in many areas. The aides do their best with their limited…read moreresources, the admin and activities specialists do not return calls to families and don't make any effort to personalize care to the patients. It's a sad place. A fish rots from the head down. The top people should do better at training the staff and getting a plan in place to bring some quality of life to their patients at their facility, during this, the end stage of their lives.

This place is the bottom of the barrel, and quite frankly, dangerous to patients…read more My Mom was there only for a brief spell in 2003, and in a matter of a few weeks, the nurses at Manorcare overdosed her so severely on Haldol, that she suffered permanent brain damage: diagnosed as drug-induced Parkinson's. Mina went from walking, talking/conversing , dancing, singing, self-grooming, laughing, writing, etc., to: comatose 23 hours a day, bedridden, and literally dying of dehydration. She had even lost the ability to swallow, and was being fed by G-tube. My brother had no idea what those nurses were doing. I had to fly out from California to rescue her. Or what was left of her. I found out later that all the locals know that being sent there is a death sentence. People die of neglect or worse there, inside of a year. I have now had my Mom for almost 6 years here in CA. I have made some progress improving her swallow reflex, and awakened her from her induced coma - in fact, when UCLA just re-hydrated her, she woke up almost immediately. But the brain damage was done. Mom lost walking, talking, and just about everything else. Those nurses robbed Mom of her quality of life. I tried to complain to the authorities in PA, but no one would listen - no one cares about old people, they assume their lives are over. NO STARS - I only picked one since otherwise this website would not accept this posting. This place should be shut down.
