This Staples has been very handy for me and the staff is extremely nice, every time when I come in…read moreto have something printed out. The folks that have worked in the printing department are nice enough to print my needed items out with the three holes already punched in the paper, speeding up my putting those documents in to my binder that I am using to write a book in between its ends. If I come close to the store's closing time, they don't rush me to hurry up and get my stuff then out of the store, so they can close for the night. What the staff does is let me finish picking up whatever other items (besides the printing stuff that I get here) and pay for it in one go, for which I truly appreciate, because sometimes, I am also picking up other items in the store that I am trying to locate within the store.

The bad- I used to take all of my Amazon returns to this location. They often had a line out the…read moredoor with the majority of customers processing Amazon returns. After they began forcing everyone to use the kiosk, I had an issue when I scanned the QR code the screen told me to see an associate. I got back in line and when I got to the counter she 'scolded' me and told me I should have used the kiosk. I let her know it said to see a worker and she huffed at me and shook her head. The next time I took a return in, they were demanding that everyone use the kiosk. Each person they waited on got the same speech- did you try the kiosk?! I definitely got it, they do NOT want Amazon returns at this location. I take all of my returns to Kohl's when given the option. The good- my daughter had an Amazon return last week. She was not given Kohl's as an option and her only choices were the Amazon store in Clifton or the ups store. She's had the same experiences with returns at this location and was leery about getting yelled at, but we decided it was closer. There was no one in line but we went to the kiosk and it worked! The person at the counter actually thanked us for using the kiosk. Basically, I believe this store is lacking in customer service. So many people have issues with technology and don't know how to proceed only to be scolded once they're there. I agree with another post that they should put up a sign stating 'No Amazon Returns' if they're going to continue treating customers this way. I've worked in customer service for 2 decades and was always told it takes 10 positive comments to make up for 1 negative.

I called today about Notary services. At 8:30 am I called to asked about availability. They told me…read moreit was available until 3:30. Asked if I needed to make an appointment. They said no. I walked in at 2:30 pm ( as I said I would) with a need for a notary and shipping of a very important document. I was greeted with "Oh sorry! She left ". A cross town journey entailed on to be turned down again and again. In the pouring rain no less. Finally found a notary. BTW, MY BANKS PNC AND 5/3 refused. But they had good reason and really helped me. Long story short, UPS SUCKS AND LIES!! They need to take appointments and call people with unavoidable cancellations. If truly unavoidable. I am a notary. Not that hard if you can add 2 digits. If you require services at the Glenway UPS, call 5 minutes before you get there. Or you may be screwed.

I was using the study room to work on some research that I was doing for something that I'm currently working on for myself, (which the room is free, if it is available/not reserved when you want to use it). When I came out of the study room, because I had a library book that I was done using and wanted to return it back to the library. As I was walking over to where you can return books, these two guys (one of which I know works at a different branch of the county library system) and another guy talked to me in such a way that I felt like they were mocking me or even making fun of me for using the study room at all. It wasn't like I was disturbing anybody while I was using the study room at all -- I just needed a bigger table to work at, (because I wanted more space to use both my lap top AND my large binders, due to me doing some research and having hard copies that take up some space on a table). The way that the second guy was asking me how I enjoyed using the study room, I took it to mean that he wanted me to immediately get out of the room and out of the building entirely, which I came right out and asked him if that was what he was implying to me. The guy responded that he didn't want me to leave, but where he and the other guy were laughing at me for being in the study room and quietly working on my research in there, it made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. I quickly cleaned up my stuff from inside the study room shortly thereafter and left to head home, feeling quite unhappy and almost violated by those two guys.

Every time I go in, the service is quick and friendly, and my shipments are picked up promptly. Today, I walked over to look for a postcard for a friend. I ended up getting a postcard and a Northside magnet--both $4 each. They had a great selection of funky stickers, magnets, cards, and mugs. I'd like to go back and get some stuff for myself sometime!
