There are no lobby signs indicating that the next floors promise lots of fun information on filming in the area, local outlaws and which stars over the years have stayed in which rooms. I spent a good 30 minutes soaking it in. It is a musty maze across two floors, with books and trinkets. I loved it. The ground floor of the hotel is a charisma bypass. What a pity as the cafe and lobby could be so much more fun and informative (this is true of Las Vegas generally, so many wasted opportunities). There is a gift shop with the usual pottery etc. Staff were fairly oblivious to visitors. We opted not to stay overnight. I peeked in many of the rooms and they looked like they had retained their 19C furniture in keeping with the time period. Some were large some were not.
