It's burlesque with a rock & roll edge, and the performers were incredible -- sexy, funny, high-energy and completely different from one another. You can tell they're actually having fun onstage, which makes the whole room feel like a party. I also loved that it didn't feel like one of those overly polished, cookie-cutter Vegas productions. It has personality. Great music, gorgeous costumes, lots of surprises and plenty of moments where the whole audience was cheering. If you want something sexy, a little wild, and very Vegas without feeling touristy, GO. I'd absolutely see Rocklesque again -- especially since the shows and themes change. read more

Alexis Park Resort gets a solid shoutout for customer service even though I didn't personally stay there. A friend of mine from Long Beach stayed here with his buddies for about 5 days and had no complaints during his stay. After checking out, he realized he had forgotten his suit jacket in the room. He called housekeeping after hours, and they actually made a note of it and followed up with him the next day. Since he had already headed back home, I went over to pick it up for him. The property is pretty big and a one-way layout, so I had to drive around the whole place to get to security. The security guard was super helpful, before I even finished explaining, he already knew what I was there for and said, "You're looking for a jacket?" They had it ready, neatly hung and wrapped in plastic, which I thought was really organized and professional. I just showed ID, signed for it, and was on my way. Overall, I can't speak on the rooms, but based on the front desk and security experience alone, the customer service was great. read more

I wish I had known this place had a barbershop, would have definitely saved me some time. The fitness center has everything one needs, including multiple cardio machines and dumbbells. Our room was nice and spacious. We had a king size bed loft. Only callouts were that the AC could have been a bit stronger. Also the room had no hand soap/bar soap. That's a first for a "resort." Also no paper towels or napkins. The main pool area was closed in the first week of September with temps of 105. And only 1 ice machine worked...very inconvenient. The fact that this place is pet friendly is the only reason I would return. Very convenient for families with pets...you can walk them to the back where they have plenty of grass and doggie bags. Please fix your ice machines and add a bar of soap to each restroom and a roll of paper towels and now it might feel like a "resort." read more

A really nice stay for the price. The rooms are large and were very clean. Depending on the building you're in, you may have to do a bit of walking. There are 3 pools that also looked very clean, but I didn't swim. The staff was overall nice. The location is close to the strip and close to the airport. The only issue I had during my stay was that my room keys were shut off before checkout and my door was hard to open and close, so I had to put my shoulder into it. Also, the blackout curtains did not close all the way. Overall, I would stay here again. read more

This was not my first time to Alexis Park, what I meant to say was this was my first time here seeing the handicapped spots blocked and the next closest lot marked as Employee Parking forcing everyone to park in the back and walk. As the business owner you clearly understood what I was talking about concerning the parking on that particular evening. As a business owner, a persons concern regarding parking is what needed to be addressed, not belittling me about a comment placed in December and then a comment a few months later and a mistake of it being my first time there. Our friends came here from California am stayed for 5 days. They had no issues with their rooms. The only thing was they forgot there jacket in their room. They got ahold of security and they were able to retrieve his jacket. They wrapped it up so it was safe. We came here to pick up from security and they were great no issues. Checked our ID signed a form that we retrieved the item and we were on our way. The lobby was huge and clean and even has a snack bar to purchase some goodies while you're on your stay. It is a wonderful, nongaming resort that is within walking distance to the Strip. It is well maintained, and great for traveling families. They also have large conference rooms. If all you need is a place to sleep and shower, this will work out just fine for you. We were hoping to use the pools (it was quite hot when we were there), but only one pool was open and it was packed with screaming kids. No bother, though. We couldn't have stayed outside long because it's very difficult to breather with the fumes of jet fuel overhead. Room was basic, but clean. I was very disappointed with my stay here. One of the main reasons I chose to stay at this hotel was because it advertised heated pools, but the pools were extremely cold during my stay. I was also locked out of my room multiple times because the key repeatedly stopped working, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. In addition, the hot water did not work properly, making it difficult to enjoy even basic amenities. Customer service was also lacking. Staff members were not particularly helpful when concerns were brought to their attention, and resolving issues seemed to be a low priority. The overall experience did not match the expectations set by the hotel's advertising. For the price paid, I expected a much better experience. We came here to watch the all female cast - All Motown - show. It was amazing! It was very interactive show, which was a first for me. They performed music from several different groups including the Supremes', The Temptations, Gladys Knight, and many more. The show ran for about 90 minutes. The ladies would change outfits between each performance. Able to order drinks before and during the show. A small table placed in the front but in between 2 chairs. Chairs are comfortable. My wife and I came to this property for a show in the restaurant. We didn't expect much but we were surprised at out treatment. First, my wife ordered vodka rocks, no fruit. I ordered bourbon neat. In fact, we made them doubles as it was obvious the waiter was working the room alone. A while later, the waiter came back and (lied) saying the bartender lost the paper with the order. My wife re-ordered. A bit later she received her vodka with a lemon. That is not "no fruit." My bourbon came on the rocks. I sent it back and asked for the 2nd time for water. Now it gets even "better." The bartender simply strained the now watered down and cold bourbon into another glass. It took awhile but I flagged down the waiter and told him this was BS and to take it back. He did offer to fix it but then I told him I didn't trust the bartender. I asked for water 4 times and never showed. He brought the bill which included the bourbon but did come back with it corrected. I put $40 in the folder to pay the $36 bill. The tip was $4 more than it was worth. Then I asked for the manager. A 20 something women came by. I asked her to sit but she said he'd prefer to stand. Two security guards were there as well. The manager was so uninterested I even asked her why I was even having the conversation. We were then asked to leave because according to the lying waiter, I was aggressive. Not even close. I remained calm throughout. On the way out I stopped to say hello to one of the entertainers who is our friend. After a hug, the security guard said I hadn't paid. When I asked who said that, his response was "I don't know." At this point I'm pretty pissed off yet calm. I told him I did pay but asked what he'd do if I did not pay. He then told me "I'd have you trespassed." So I dared him to call the police. Of course, he did not. I wouldn't go back there for any amount of money. I'm waiting to hear from either the owner or a real manager, but won't hold my breath. I hope they go out of business. read more

I saved so much staying here. It is no frills. The planes fly overhead but you're so tired from eating and shopping that you'll sleep through it. I stayed in a double double suite where there is a pull out couch and 2 tvs, bathtub and shower, table and microwave and coffeemaker. It was spacious but what was so awesome was the very comfortable bed. It was soft not hard. I slept wonderfully! I loved being able to park right outside the door a few feet away. I also stayed on street level so on one night the above guest was noisy but I was still awake watching tv. It is a mile away from the strip so it's not within walking distance. I shampoo, body wash and lotion were supplied in pump bottles. Bring conditioner. I didn't use or see the pool. The deposit was $200! I'll return again for the great rate! read more

The outsides of this property were to be desired (looks like a rundown apartment building), The insides of my room were actually surprisingly okay (compared to the outside). I was having a good old time until I was woken up at 7:00 a.m. by the neighbors two barking dogs. The fun doesn't stop there. When I called the front desk about the two barking dogs The person on the phone acted like they did not care at all. Like it wasn't their problem. They told me they do allow dogs. Well I don't have problems with people allowing dogs in hotels I've always thought it was a no-no to leave your dog to bark all morning especially in Vegas where people are trying to get some good sleep. I never have to talk to the front desk when I get to a hotel, interaction is always I get the key I stay I leave leave. But to be told to kick rocks, practically I was having a problem that most hotels would not put up with. That's a problem. If you have a problem at this hotel I would not count on them to solve the problem or even attempt to act like they care about it. read more

Great value, great location--especially for New Year's Eve We stayed at Alexis Park Resort Hotel on New Year's Eve, and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. The location is a huge plus--walking distance to the Strip, but tucked away enough that it feels calm and quiet. On one of the busiest nights of the year, that made a big difference. While the Strip was packed and chaotic, the hotel itself felt peaceful. The biggest surprise? We paid $170 for a Studio Deluxe Queen Suite on New Year's Eve, which is a great deal compared to nearby hotels charging much more for smaller rooms. One of the best moments of our stay was midnight--we didn't even need to go to the Strip. We simply stepped outside our room and had a clear view of the fireworks right in front of us. No crowds, no pushing, no waiting. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. We had a separate sitting area, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Everything was clean and well set up, perfect for a short or extended stay. The property has multiple outdoor pools, relaxing courtyards, a fitness center, on-site dining options, and free parking, which is another big win in Vegas. If you're looking for a non-gaming, all-suite hotel close to the Strip that offers space, comfort, and great value--especially during peak travel times--this is a solid choice. Just north of the airport, and four blocks east of the Strip, Alexis Park Resort hosted a tribute to Motown music (All Motown) that we attended on a Thursday night. It had easy free parking. The ball room is a typical set-up with round tables in front of the stage, and comfy 270 degree booths around the sides. Our group of four was escorted to one of the latter, and we enjoyed the 90 minute show from there with good views. There is no minimum drink requirement. The act consisted of the Duchesses of Motown (4 woman group) singing the greatest hits from the legendary recording studio, with a special guest (who filled the void when the 4 main performers were doing costume changes offstage). There was a bit of audience participation, and all the songs you would expect ( from both male and female Motown chart toppers) were included (some in a full version, others abbreviated). Most of the songs we knew, which is critical to enjoying a show like this. There was a slight intermission when we were allowed to use our phones (otherwise, no pictures/videos allowed during performance). Each of the four singers had pleasing voices, with lights and background visuals being minimal, but good acoustics throughout the show. All of us enjoyed it. read more

This not what I'd consider a resort. The setup reminds me of Howard Johnson or Econo Lodge, where you have to go outside to access the rooms. There's a few spaces upfront for guests to park long enough to check in. I saw 5 handicap parking spaces for the 1000+ parking spaces here. There's a showroom here for concerts, which brings even more people here outside of their hotel guests. My understanding is they have conventions and other competitions here, which is where their guests come from. I had no idea that this place existed. It would be nice if they had dedicated parking for people coming to a show here. I had to park almost at the back of the hotel as if I was staying in one of the rooms in that section walking in the dark to get to the front of the building to enter. read more

We enjoyed our stay here. Both nights. Cost was low and it served its purpose. We drove in from Colorado and anything would be good for these weary travelers. This place was better than just good. Quick procedure to secure the room. They added a pet fee for the furry ones, which everyone does. Easy to locate the building/room. It had all the space we could need and then some. Great shower pressure. A kitchenette. Nice flat screen with cable. They could provide an instruction guide for the A/C unit. You know, for us old folks. We stumbled through it and made do. There were a ton of planes descending into Harry Reid......RIGHT ABOVE US! So close I could read the writing on the bottom of the plane! Funny thing is, close the door, you don't really hear them. We stayed at Alexis Park for the DECA state convention. The hotel staff were nice, the accommodations were adequate. There are lots of amenities in the area and they have directions on getting GrubHub delivered to the hotel, so it's all very convenient. There were two negatives: the doors slam WAY too loudly, and the main pool was down, which wasn't necessarily a big deal, but it was an eyesore. read more

This place is not as advertised, it looks like a cheap motel in Tijuana for someone that is broke and desperate. Do not stay here. The floor is disgusting, the couches had stains and floors were not properly cleaned. The door didn't even close all the way. My wife and I visited the Alexis Park Resort for the first time to see the Queen Selena Show, the property was nice and we had time for a cocktail before the show in their bar which was nice and the staff was very friendly. Needless to say the Queen Selena show was awesome, it was so good my wife said that she would like to come back and see it again. She also takes time during her performances to thank Veterans and First Responders which is greatly appreciated. The legacy/tribute shows are great. Went early for the Queen Selina performance. Had dinner in the Steakhouse. Food and service was excellent. Wish they had a coffeehouse for less expensive meals. The Selena show was amazing. Started slow but by the end, people were all up and dancing by their tables. One did not need to speak Spanish in order to enjoy the experience. Came here for NFR weekend and was honestly disappointed with most of the experience at this 'resort.' If you're a light sleeper, please do NOT book here. You're basically a mile from the airport, and I thought I could handle the plane noise, but I was completely wrong. I've been sleep-deprived for days because of constant flights overhead, and the walls are so paper thin you can hear neighbors walking or even talking. It feels like I overpaid for an over-glorified, overrated Motel 6. The ratings online are way too generous, they're definitely rating the events and not the actual hotel experience, which is really misleading. I won't be coming back. Save your money and stay farther north. Learn from my mistake. I'm giving 2 stars only because the food and the employees each earned one. read more

We came in last minute after traveling from Utah and needing a place to stay. They quoted us 120$ but tacked on an additional 100$. Their online prices said it was a lot cheaper, but those were just incorrect. The bedroom itself was nice. Clean, included a coffee maker, tv, and couch. We came in and immediately fell asleep. We ended up coming in about 4 am and checkout is 11 AM. We only slept a few hours, but it was great! I can't attest to the coffee maker, the appliances, WiFi, or TV, but I'd assume they were pretty decent. Make sure when checking in you have your card with matching ID. We planned on using another card but because it wasn't ours, we weren't able to use it. (Family members) There is plenty of free parking near the rooms. read more

We tried the steakhouse and watched the Elvis show. So the steakhouse-it's not great. It's convenient if you're going to the show that's right there. They serve you some free cheap sweet buns with butter. They have a strawberry spinach salad that's good except the dressing seems so artificial. The steak medallions came out super rare and we actually had to have them cooked a little more, then of course they were well done. Mashed potatoes are a little thin. Gravy is good and I loved the broccoli. The waitresses are very nice. You can bring your wi e for a reasonable corking fee. Also there is free parking if there are available spaces. read more

On our get away trip to Vegas, I had booked this place a few months ahead of time because I know how expensive Vegas can be! We stayed for about 5 days towards the end of the year of 2022 and we plan to have the time of our lives! Checked this spot out on yelp and seen all the bad reviews and wasn't confident on my pick of hotel, I was very unsure about it. But decided to give this place a shot because it was a great price for a stay of 5 days in Vegas! Pulling up to the hotel from the airport which was about less than 10 minute drive, I may add! It looked really nice and clean right off the strip, walking distance! I was surprised to see how smooth and easy everything was, the checking in and getting our rooms and even finding our rooms, it was a breeze! The security deposit was $300 which is understandable since we were staying for a long period of time. Luckily for us, we got the bottom floor right next to the pool and lobby! They had three pools in total so this hotel has a lot of space and rooms! Walking in to our room looked fresh and clean, super spacious! I absolutely feel in love with the bath tub it was shaped like a oval so that meant more room in the tub!
