It has been about 2 years since I last provided an update on this property, but I must report a very unfortunate situation that occurred during our visit this year. Thankfully, we arrived around 2:30 pm on Saturday, January 24th, or things might have been even worse. When we arrived, we were told by 2 Gen Z girls, one by the name of Tasha, and we didn't get the name of the other one, that our reservation had been cancelled. We were told they couldn't do anything for us, and I had to call owner services. Imagine my shock and anger when I was told this, but I kept my cool and asked them if they were kidding. I was told the reservation was cancelled twice on January 3rd, but I showed them a paper confirmation dated January 3rd. I was told again that they couldn't help me, so I asked to speak to the manager. They said both the manager and the assistant manager were in a meeting. I told them that I would need to speak with them when their meeting concluded. So, in the meantime, I decided to call owner services. Since we arrived at 2:30 pm, I was confident I would be able to speak to someone before they closed at 5 pm local time. I waited about 30 minutes before anyone answered. Thankfully, I got a very understanding and wonderful agent named Jessica. Now, after explaining the situation to Jessica, she did some research and discovered the following: My reservation was confirmed My maintenance fees had been paid My reservation was cancelled from a computer on the property on January 3rd It could have been a glitch, but it was cancelled twice, and she didn't understand why I wasn't notified about a cancellation since I had already paid my fees. Jessica re-instated the reservation, and my wife was completely upset by this entire fiasco. She was inside talking to the staff, and she came out with the manager while I was on the phone with Jessica. She informed me that Ravi and Jen, the current managers of this resort, had handled the reservation. I told my wife I knew it had happened and had Jessica on the phone to answer any questions if needed. Ravi and Jen apologized, but I told them that we have been coming here for 10 years as owners and that this situation was totally unacceptable. Ravi told me that if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation, to let him know. I told him the only thing he could do at that moment was tell me who on the property cancelled our reservation. I wasn't going to be happy until I found out the information Ravi called me on Thursday because he had finally received my message from the staff, which I left on Wednesday morning at 11:00 am. The wife and I were actually having a wonderful breakfast at Union Biscuits when I received the call. Ravi basically told me he would give me an extra night's stay for free when we return next year and waive the $150.00 resort fee, which we get back when we check out anyway. I should mention that this was basically what I suggested to him, and he agreed to do it. So, while I appreciated the gesture, we'll see what happens next year. If I were being honest, I wouldn't return if I weren't an owner here. One Final note to address my concern about the new management and management company: apparently, security doesn't check whether people are parked where they are supposed to be, because all week long, someone else parked in our assigned spot. We didn't complain, though, since we were able to park in the open spot beside our assigned spot, which we prefer. There has never been any solicitation allowed on the property, but it appears that this is now because we found a pizza flyer stuffed in several doors. We left today (January 31st), and when I went in to return the keys, I saw Jen and Ravi in their offices. I waved to Jen to come out, and she just stayed at her desk, no in-person apology or concern about how our stay was. Ravi did come out, and we talked about the arrangement we made for next year. I am very sad to write this review because if they will do this to an owner, what would they do to a regular guest? Booked two nights here through Expedia. Got a good deal under $250 for a one bedroom condo. Really spacious for me and my two kids. Big full kitchen, dining room, balcony, and a walk in closet! Place was nice and clean. We checked in at 3pm and front desk was able to give us a room instantly. Service was great with no problems. Resort has a pool, fitness center, and game room on site. They also assigned us our own parking space which was super convenient. Glad our room was in the center because it was quiet. Thick walls so no need for me to worry about my kids being loud. This is located in Summerlin about 20 minutes away from the Vegas strip. Really enjoyed the calmness and more mellow atmosphere. read more

During my Vegas eating and relaxing adventure we didn't want to stay on the Strip so looking for great ratings and reviews we chose The Cliffs at Peace Canyon. This place was an excellent choice. It is about a 15-20 minute drive from the Strip but it feels like a home away from home without the hustle and bustle and high energy of the Strip. These apartment homes are somewhat old, around the early 2000s, but they are well-maintained, clean and spacious within a gated area surrounded by other gated apartments. Up the street about a 30 minute walk going either left or right you will discover a plaza, several eateries and various other establishments. The apartments have a front desk check-in like a hotel with the option to have free parking for one vehicle. Easy access to the manager if needed or maintenance services like to change a light bulb. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all of the amenities of home from TV in each room, laundry room, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, living and dining rooms, one or two bedrooms each with their own separate bathroom and a patio. The rooms are smoke-free but you can smoke on the patio. You are provided an information sheet and map which reflects the TV Stations available, locations of the gym, and the clubhouse. There is a pool area also available which is centrally located with the apartments surrounding it. It appears that the pool area was clean and there appeared to be a hot tub but I did not get a chance to partake in any of the amenities available including the gym or clubhouse. On the information sheet you are given the shuttle schedule. Reservations are required. The shuttle will take you to the Strip and the grocery store. I didn't use these services because I had a vehicle at my disposal when needed and at other times I walked. Please note that the shuttle does not provide airport pick ups nor drop offs. The neighborhood is great as with any residential area you will hear cars but nothing too distracting. No hallways so there is no excessive noise. Neighbors upstairs and next door noise was minimal. I will definitely be coming back to Vegas and will check out this location again. Highly recommend that you try it for yourself. read more

My experience at this workplace was extremely disappointing. I was suspended from my job, a decision I considered unfair, despite always being a responsible, hardworking, and dedicated employee. I consistently completed every project assigned to me and always finished my work orders on time. I took pride in my work and always gave my best effort. Unfortunately, none of the positive contributions I made were ever recognized or appreciated. The company seemed to have very little concern for the employees who worked there. Instead of supporting or valuing their staff, management appeared more interested in reviewing security cameras to find mistakes or reasons to discipline or terminate employees. I personally experienced this lack of support on multiple occasions. One time, I left my golf cart parked in its designated area, and someone stole the tools inside it. On another occasion, the golf cart itself was taken from the property while I was working inside a room. In both situations, management showed little interest in reviewing the cameras or investigating what had happened. There was no sense of urgency when an employee needed help or when company property and personal tools were involved. However, when it came to suspending me, they suddenly conducted a detailed investigation and thoroughly reviewed the cameras. This created the impression that security measures were only important when they could be used against employees, not when employees actually needed support or protection. In addition, the work environment was unhealthy and unprofessional. There was constant drama, and many people, including some managers, became too involved in employees' personal lives. Instead of addressing issues directly and honestly, people often talked behind others' backs. Working there was one of the worst professional experiences of my life. Looking back, I realize it was a blessing in disguise. After leaving, I found a company where my work is appreciated, my efforts are recognized, and I am treated with the respect and professionalism that every employee deserves. Although my experience there was negative, it ultimately led me to a better opportunity. No employee should feel that their mistakes are constantly monitored while their hard work, dedication, and contributions go completely unnoticed. read more

We stayed in a one-bedroom at The Cliffs at Peace Canyon for one-week in mid-May, 2024 through a timeshare exchange. There is much to like about the resort, our unit, and the staff that we encountered. -- our unit was ready when we arrived so we were allowed to check-in early, and were given the choice of an upstairs or downstairs unit. -- we were given a free, covered designated parking spot. [There are also spillover spots for tall vehicles that don't fit in the covered spaces]. -- the unit is large for a one-bedroom, including a large bed in separate bedroom; large walk-in closet with safe; a sleeper sofa, large tv, etc. in the living room; separate dining area; kitchen with newish refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove/oven; soaker tub and shower in the bathroom; an office nook; washer/dryer in the unit; and a small patio. Free WiFi is provided. -- resort amenities include a clubhouse, pool, gym, and outdoor fireplace and bbq. In addition, the resort provides a shuttle service to/from the Strip, Red Rock casino, Freemont, and/or the grocery store, with reservation. (No evening hours on some weekdays). -- there are restaurants, drug stores, and groceries relatively nearby. There's also easy access to 215. However, we also experienced some issues. -- there was pressure to sign-up for a less-than-convenient timeshare presentation. The presentation is at South Point, at least 20 minutes by Highway or 30 minutes by smaller roads. The actual presentation also took a long time - almost 3 hours - including complimentary buffet lunch, tour of a unit, and three layers of a sales pitch. Our "host" also left us unattended for over 20 minutes. We needed to have him paged. -- there was a $50 amenities fee for the week, even if you don't use any of the amenities. -- the toilet in our unit made a hammering noise upon flushing, and is slow to refill. -- the unit has an iron, but no ironing board. Glassware sets were incomplete. -- a previous customer had broken a glass in the kitchen, which was insufficiently swept up. We found shards of glass on the floor. -- toiletries include soap, shampoo, and body lotion -- but no hair conditioner. -- I had been sent a package via priority mail for Mother's Day that arrived the day before our arrival. I was NOT informed by the resort of its arrival upon our arrival or later. read more

This is by far the worst place that I have ever stayed in Las Vegas. This is not a 4 star resort, the reviews must be fake. This is a 1 star rental that should not be rented out. For starters, when you check in, you have to stand in two lines, one for check in and the second one for a parking pass (they also try to get you to buy tickets for various stuff that you have no interest in). The upstairs tenant starts dragging his/her furniture at 9:30PM promptly every night (we stayed two nights) and runs back and forth up to 11:30PM. We complained to management, but the noise did not stop. They promised to speak with the unit upstairs, but I do not believe that they did anything at all. As for the apartment, when you walk in there is a horrible smell that does not go away. The couch has disgusting stains on it (you do not want to sit on it). The mattress is the cheapest that management could obviously buy. This is a bring your own pillow place. The shower/tub combo is dated and appears to be stained from years of wear and tear. The toilet was loose (so bad that we did complain to management), the towel hanger had some white powder all over it (so you could not hang anything on it) and the microwave blew a fuse after the first use. I booked a one week stay. When I got there, they were trying to overcharge me. My room was not completely cleaned. And within an hour, another family came into my condo with their own set of keys, maintenance had to come up several times throughout my stay. It was a moldy smell and water damage on the ceiling in the bedroom. Hot tub and pool were overchlorinated and I found underwear in the jets of the hot tub, all of this was reported to the office and all they could say was sorry. read more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel with some friends. We got two 2 bedroom apartments for our stay. The rooms were identical just one on the first floor and the other on 2nd. Awesome apartments with good size and grounds. However, they have the hardest beds known to man so plan on tossing and turning all night and being very sore in the morning. Dirty Room, Broken Promises -- Not Family-Friendly I booked a one-week stay because the hotel offered a room with tile floors, a kitchen, and a crib -- ideal for traveling with a baby. But shortly after check-in, I realized the room was far from clean. The floor was so dirty my feet turned black just walking around. The dishwasher had leftover food particles, the laundry machines were filthy, and there was dust and dried food all over the floor. I contacted Expedia right away to shorten the stay. The hotel told them I could check out on Tuesday with no penalty and receive a refund for the unused nights. When I went to the front desk Monday night, they confirmed this. But Tuesday morning, they acted like they had no idea and told me to go through Expedia again. Expedia reached out and was told we had to email the hotel -- and once we did, they refused the refund entirely. The room wasn't clean, and the hotel didn't keep its word. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for families. read more

Our team stayed here during a weekend volleyball tournament. I appreciated that it wasn't on the strip. It gave us all an opportunity to decompress after being in the loud convention center all weekend. The place is a nice size. Loved having the washing machine and dryer. The pool was warm so the girls could swim and jacuzzi was perfect...even though it was cold outside. There is a Walmart close by to get whatever you need. I don't like that they make you take out your trash and pull all the linen off and put it in the bathtub...bathtub?! We also had to put dishes in dishwasher and turn it on. We should get a tip for doing our own stuff. Heater was noisy AF and apparently it wasn't just in my apartment. Grounds were clean. read more

Upon check in I was asked for my card twice and was told my card wouldn't be charged again. It was in fact charged the additional $150 taxes which came to $300 total on top of the $856 for the week stay. It was quiet when driving thru the complex to get your rental unit. Upon entering the unit there was some smell we couldn't locate until we sat on the couch and got closer. We looked around behind the couch and low and behold there was a dead humming bird. I get it housekeepers aren't going to look behind everything to make sure it's clean. But there was a considerable 2 foot space from the and couch and even walk around space from the other half of the sectional. We disposed of the bird and the smell went away. It's whatever at this point. We went to set up the TVs for or youngest in the king room and there was no controller. My daughter was in her queen bed room and she had a controller but no working service to the tv. So the tv in her room was pointless. I ended up going to target to get an HDMI to C so she can at least watch Netflix from her tablet to Tv. The tv channel listings they give you aren't accurate you have to manually enter in the channels to try each one to see what channels are what. HBO was listed as 45 to 47 when in fact it was 71, 72 and 73. If we were on a normal vacation this wouldn't bother us as much as we wouldn't be in the room. But I was having surgery and the kids didn't leave the room but 2x thru the 5 days we were there. Little details matter to the visible eye it was clean but closer inspections need to be done to ensure future guests don't have the same issue or aren't accused of taking remotes or leaving a mess. read more

Stayed here 1 week. Pro's: full size washer and dryer in room. Plenty of seating. Plenty of dishes. AC works well. They offer transportation to various locations. 1 parking spot provided but plenty of parking spaces. Big room. 2 baths. Clean grounds. Cons: Horrible internet. Connection to Wi-Fi actually makes it worse. Several different cell providers in our group but everyone complained about buffering. Not close to the strip. Not close to downtown. Broken glass shelf's in the fridge made it nearly useless. Dishwasher is crap and not installed correctly and falls out when opened. Weird rules requiring pulling all linens and placing them in the tub. And required to clean all dishes. No maid service. 1 load of soap provided. 2 dishwasher pods. Regular coffee pot provided but no filters (yes, we asked). Window blinds controls broken. Pillows suck. No restaurant. There are security gates but they are never closed. You have to take out your own trash. Why is this of value financially compared to staying at a hotel? And no elevated service experience. Nothing luxury is in this. read more

I had high hopes for this place. The first two employees I dealt with were great. They were friendly and welcoming. I could not say the same for the last two employees when checking out. On the day of check out 4/17/22, my kids were taking a bit longer to get ready so I had called down to the front desk to see if it was ok that we check out by 11 instead of 10. Whoever I spoke with was pleasant. She said they it wouldn't be fine and not a problem. I told her I was going to drop by the front office to drop off my room keys and she said I could leave them in the room. Around 10:11am, I receive a phone from the front desk from a very rude girl basically barking at me that I needed to get out of the room by 10:30. I verified with her the phone number to make sure I had called the right place the first time and she didn't give me any response. I told her that I had spoken to someone not too long ago from the front desk about needed more time and if it was ok to leave by 11. The person gave me so much attitude saying that they were very busy and I needed to get out. She said there was no note about anyone calling from my room for a late check out. I tried to talk to her but I could not take anymore of her rudeness. I was going to just leave the keys in the room for checkout but after that kind of treatment, I decided to go ahead and bring the keys to the front desk. I just wanted to get the whole situation sorted out. I didn't understand why I needed to be treated so horribly and if I could not do the late check out then I should have been told. My room was fully paid for right when I booked. I never caused any issues while staying at the property. The only ask I had was to check out 1 hour past the check out time which I would have gladly paid for if needed. But the kind of treatment I received was very unwelcoming and as if I was a nuisance. The supervisor who supposedly was the one I spoke with did not try to fix the issue. I stated many times my room number but they seem to just make a mockery of the situation and denying my request and statement. There was no getting to any resolution with these two. I have worked in the hospitality industry in my past jobs. I currently run my own business. I definitely know not to treat my customers the way the rude girl treated me. Of all the entirety of my life and have stayed in numerous resorts/hotels for my travels, I have never been treated as horribly as I was here. I would highly recommend going elsewhere! This place is a joke! The two girls in the front needs to get retrained for customer service because they definitely do not know how to deal with them. If they hate being there so much, they should work elsewhere. I don't think this is the kind of image that the company would like to have and be known for. read more

This is a nice place to stay if you don't want to stay on the strip to avoid crowds and smoke smell. It's not a casino hotel and that's why we chose to come here. We had a very spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with full kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. We paid $250 per day. One room has a king bed, the other is a queen bed. There is also a sectional that unfolds into a bed that can easily sleep 2. There are 3 tvs in the entire unit. Our unit was unit 2012 and it was very clean. With plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans. Glassware and silverware was very clean. I only gave 4 stars because there was no pillows or blankets for the fold out. We called to see if we can be given more and was told housekeeping was gone for the night but they will see if security could find some for us. They did which I appreciate. Also, we removed the dnd sign while we were out in hopes of housekeeping would straighten up for us and replenish the used towels but they didn't. All good. I would still recommend this hotel if you want a smoke free environment with no casino. It's about a 20-25 min drive to the strip. read more

Staying here for a week through an exchange with our timeshare. The check-in process was hassle free and the gentleman (CJ) who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. Our original room was an upper unit on the corner of two busy streets, so he moved us to a much quieter upper unit. Very thoughtful and appreciated. We did have to get our parking pass from the concierge, but this is customary with timeshares, so they can try to get you to an ownership meeting. They weren't pushy here, which was nice. I've checked into some timeshare resorts in the past where they're extremely pushy and it can be quite irritating. The rooms here are very nice, clean and updated. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit even has a full size washer and dryer! First 2 bedroom timeshare exchange where I've had one of those (usually get stackable machines with 2 bedroom units)! The full kitchen is well stocked, as well as the bathrooms. They have a heated outdoor pool and hot tub here for guests. They charge a $25 one time resort fee for the use of their amenities (mainly internet access as they use a 3rd party), which includes round-trip shuttle service to the Las Vegas strip (Mirage) and nearby Smith's grocery store. Another nice perk is you're assigned a designated parking spot with your room number, so you don't have to worry about finding parking if you get in late at night. I really liked that this place was off the stripe, quiet, felt like home (kind of), and was basically a full apartment. I liked that we had a dedicated parking space too. The pool area is also nice. I would definitely stay here again. Things I didn't love: 1. The gym sucks - lol! The cable pulley thing busted. The cable fell right off. There was no Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer or paper towels (if having a gym is important to you don't stay here) no free weights either 2. The coffee table literally looked dirty - finger prints all over it (I brought my own Clorox wipes and cleaned everything - you couldn't see any dirty on the wipes but was just weird) Other than that the place has my thumbs up. The worst experience ever. First things first. The staff were not professional, impatient, and showed no hospitality. Our friends have a time share and invited us to go to Vegas for 3 days. They had a 2 bedroom and gave us one of the rooms. This place is not taking the current Pandemic seriously. Hello ??? have you guys heard of Corona aka Covid -19 ? The place was absolutely filthy and bed sheets were not changed. We had to go to Albertsons and buy bleach wipes and gloves and clean everything as we didn't want to risk it. read more

This place was definitely an excellent choice! I loved our 2 bedroom 2 bath place, it looked exactly like the pics online when renting. I really enjoyed the large space, big table for up to 6 people, and it's own laundry room. I loved that the pool was open during this time with covid-19. I was disappointed to see the game room and pool table closed due to covid-19. We even had covered parking for our vehicle. The surrounding area was very peaceful and quiet. There were barely people there. Perfect for social distancing. I'd definitely go back. read more

I've been an owner at this resort for many years, but have never stayed there until now. In the past, I've always chosen to exchange or rent out my unit. I was extremely pleased with the spaciousness of the unit, as well as the cleanliness of the entire complex. They've done a nice job of assuring the safety of the residents during this pandemic, as well as meticulously maintaining the grounds. The unit comes with a fully stocked kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer. They also took care of all the fine touches, such as supplying laundry detergent, dishwasher liquid, shampoo and conditioner, soap, plenty of towels, etc. I also thought the location was quite nice. It's in a quiet residential area not too far from the strip, and there's dozens of great eateries and stores within a just a few minutes drive. read more

Our stay was in a 1 bedroom condo style unit with a living room, dinning room, kitchen, laundry, and your typical bed/bathroom. This is your typical 4 star hotel/condo/timeshare. Nothing spectacular with the exception of the assigned parking. The pool goes no further than 3 or 4 feet deep and there's only one coffee pack and laundry detergent provided for a weeks stay. The water pressure absolutely sucked in the shower, both the bathroom sink and the shower had a slow drain and the toilet flush power for weak too. We did find evidence of the prior vacationers with trash under the bed and behind the nightstand which worried me a little about how their cleaning practicing were during COVID. All else considered, it was a nice comfortable quiet unit that's about 15mins from everything, including the strip (a shuttle to and from the strip is provided). During our stay we did not have our typical midweek cleaning but because of COVID, that was fine plus, we were told in advance there would not be cleaning. Guest service was great and friendly during the easy 5min checkin process and the two other times we called. The fitness center and pool area are operating from 8:00AM-8:00PM during COVID and the hot tub is closed. We would definitely stay here again even with those small oversights and unit imperfections. read more

First impression when I walked In was, wow, smoke. I was literally blinded by the odor of secondhand smoke only to be doubly insulted by the 'please no smoking' sign posted. Went to shower only to discover hair, snot and eyelashes on the walls of the shower. The wallpaper is falling off the walls in the room and desperately needs a makeover. More hair was then found on the sheets of the bed. Needless to say, we are somewhat dissatisfied. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

The absolute worst experience ever. Called at 11 pm the night I got there because there was no hot water. The guy working the desk said there was nothing he could do. Nice little condo complex situated between the strip and Red Rock. Love the convenient location! Since it's a smaller complex you aren't very far from the pool. The kitchen is well supplied and has everything you need to cook during your stay. Pros: Location Great layout in the units Close to parking and pool Outside access to units Quiet complex Close to tons of stores and restaurants Balcony/patio Cons: Floors are thin. Have to make a conscious effort to walk very softly so you don't disturb the first floor occupants. The bed was absolutely awful. Bouncy, squeaky and worn out. The pros far outweigh the cons and we will definitely go back! read more

Rent looks responsible but DO NOT BUY. Maintenance fees are $900 per year per week and their maintenance is definitely sub par. TOTAL SCAM. I was an owner for over 20 years and had it paid off for over 10 years. Because of our age we were no longer able to use the unit. I called them mid-year and offered to give them back the unit for free. They said oh no, if you don't pay next years maintenance fee we will turn you over to a collection agency and take you to court...TOTAL SCUM BAGS. read more

My friends and I totally enjoyed our stay here. It is not on the Vegas Strip but it is close. This is the space you stay in with a group of friends or family. It was very clean and beautiful. It is equipped with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. And there are much more extra goodness with this resort. It is also nice because it does give you a break away from the strip, which can be very overly stimulated. I definitely recommend and would stay here again. read more

We stayed at the Cliffs on our vacation to Las Vegas and it's very nice to be able to stay somewhere away from the strip so we can have some peace and quiet. Was a very lovely campus and we enjoyed our stay. The living room is spacious and the kitchen is amazing. read more

As far as timeshare resorts go I would say this is probably a lesser quality one. It's older, smaller, and not as well maintained as a lot of others I've stayed at. The rooms are a nice size, full bedroom, big bathroom, full size laundry room and kitchen. Unfortunately the AC unit is as loud as a jet engine. The vent on the dryer looks like it has been disconnected for a long time. The toilet is so small I wondered if it was meant for a child. They do have a shuttle that goes to the strip, Freemont, and to a grocery store. Unfortunately it is a small shuttle and only runs every hour. And you have to schedule 24 to one hour in advance, which they apparently don't follow their own rules because we tried to schedule the last trip of the night on the 4th of July, and we called about 30 hours in advance, and they said it was already booked. The pool is small but seems clean. They also clean the BBQs frequently. The rooms themselves are clean except for the carpets which seemed pretty old. They really need to vacuum the edges of the carpet better. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Tahiti Village is so much better. read more
