We stayed in a one-bedroom at The Cliffs at Peace Canyon for one-week in mid-May, 2024 through a timeshare exchange. There is much to like about the resort, our unit, and the staff that we encountered. -- our unit was ready when we arrived so we were allowed to check-in early, and were given the choice of an upstairs or downstairs unit. -- we were given a free, covered designated parking spot. [There are also spillover spots for tall vehicles that don't fit in the covered spaces]. -- the unit is large for a one-bedroom, including a large bed in separate bedroom; large walk-in closet with safe; a sleeper sofa, large tv, etc. in the living room; separate dining area; kitchen with newish refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove/oven; soaker tub and shower in the bathroom; an office nook; washer/dryer in the unit; and a small patio. Free WiFi is provided. -- resort amenities include a clubhouse, pool, gym, and outdoor fireplace and bbq. In addition, the resort provides a shuttle service to/from the Strip, Red Rock casino, Freemont, and/or the grocery store, with reservation. (No evening hours on some weekdays). -- there are restaurants, drug stores, and groceries relatively nearby. There's also easy access to 215. However, we also experienced some issues. -- there was pressure to sign-up for a less-than-convenient timeshare presentation. The presentation is at South Point, at least 20 minutes by Highway or 30 minutes by smaller roads. The actual presentation also took a long time - almost 3 hours - including complimentary buffet lunch, tour of a unit, and three layers of a sales pitch. Our "host" also left us unattended for over 20 minutes. We needed to have him paged. -- there was a $50 amenities fee for the week, even if you don't use any of the amenities. -- the toilet in our unit made a hammering noise upon flushing, and is slow to refill. -- the unit has an iron, but no ironing board. Glassware sets were incomplete. -- a previous customer had broken a glass in the kitchen, which was insufficiently swept up. We found shards of glass on the floor. -- toiletries include soap, shampoo, and body lotion -- but no hair conditioner. -- I had been sent a package via priority mail for Mother's Day that arrived the day before our arrival. I was NOT informed by the resort of its arrival upon our arrival or later.

This is by far the worst place that I have ever stayed in Las Vegas. This is not a 4 star resort, the reviews must be fake. This is a 1 star rental that should not be rented out. For starters, when you check in, you have to stand in two lines, one for check in and the second one for a parking pass (they also try to get you to buy tickets for various stuff that you have no interest in). The upstairs tenant starts dragging his/her furniture at 9:30PM promptly every night (we stayed two nights) and runs back and forth up to 11:30PM. We complained to management, but the noise did not stop. They promised to speak with the unit upstairs, but I do not believe that they did anything at all. As for the apartment, when you walk in there is a horrible smell that does not go away. The couch has disgusting stains on it (you do not want to sit on it). The mattress is the cheapest that management could obviously buy. This is a bring your own pillow place. The shower/tub combo is dated and appears to be stained from years of wear and tear. The toilet was loose (so bad that we did complain to management), the towel hanger had some white powder all over it (so you could not hang anything on it) and the microwave blew a fuse after the first use. Lastly, the carpet was so gross, that you had to wear your shoes the whole time!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel with some friends. We got two 2 bedroom apartments for our stay. The rooms were identical just one on the first floor and the other on 2nd. Both rooms were clean and spacious. The layout is similar to an apartment. I actually made a full video of the room and of the hotel during our stay. Feel free to watch it so you can get a better idea on if this is a good place for you to stay. Previous guests beard hair all over the shower/bath

A decent spot that we decided to stay at for a work trip. Unfortunately the beard hair of a previous guest was all over the bath/shower. When I called the front desk, they said sorry but did not do or offer anything for this.

Our team stayed here during a weekend volleyball tournament. I appreciated that it wasn't on the strip. It gave us all an opportunity to decompress after being in the loud convention center all weekend. The place is a nice size. Loved having the washing machine and dryer. The pool was warm so the girls could swim and jacuzzi was perfect...even though it was cold outside. There is a Walmart close by to get whatever you need. I don't like that they make you take out your trash and pull all the linen off and put it in the bathtub...bathtub?! We also had to put dishes in dishwasher and turn it on. We should get a tip for doing our own stuff. Heater was noisy AF and apparently it wasn't just in my apartment. Grounds were clean.

Upon check in I was asked for my card twice and was told my card wouldn't be charged again. It was in fact charged the additional $150 taxes which came to $300 total on top of the $856 for the week stay. It was quiet when driving thru the complex to get your rental unit. Upon entering the unit there was some smell we couldn't locate until we sat on the couch and got closer. We looked around behind the couch and low and behold there was a dead humming bird. I get it housekeepers aren't going to look behind everything to make sure it's clean. But there was a considerable 2 foot space from the and couch and even walk around space from the other half of the sectional. We disposed of the bird and the smell went away. It's whatever at this point. We went to set up the TVs for or youngest in the king room and there was no controller. My daughter was in her queen bed room and she had a controller but no working service to the tv. So the tv in her room was pointless. I ended up going to target to get an HDMI to C so she can at least watch Netflix from her tablet to Tv. The tv channel listings they give you aren't accurate you have to manually enter in the channels to try each one to see what channels are what. HBO was listed as 45 to 47 when in fact it was 71, 72 and 73. If we were on a normal vacation this wouldn't bother us as much as we wouldn't be in the room. But I was having surgery and the kids didn't leave the room but 2x thru the 5 days we were there. Little details matter to the visible eye it was clean but closer inspections need to be done to ensure future guests don't have the same issue or aren't accused of taking remotes or leaving a mess.

Yes, its further down from the chaotic center, but is that a bad thing? For this traveler thats sick of crowds, its a blessing. You can literally walk to Bagelmania, and that famous Mex al pastor taco place, Fountainebleu is right across, wonderful walking areas with an attached mall (ok the stores are whack as fuck but hopefully will be better), their street food court is so innovative and cool, always find some good things to eat here (the fried chicken was my fave, and somewhere had this hong-kong stlye pan wok'd noodles it was very good too.) Never crowded. Great colors and casino layout. The pool is very nice and easily in my top 5 in Las Vegas. The rooms are very modern and clean. Great bar called the Gatsby. Nice Mex Restaurant right when mall area starts near the back of the casino past the Gatsby bar, and a by-the-slice pizza place thats also very good. Wally's restaurant is somewhere I hope to try one day. LOTS of food options, even a buffet type, and an Eggslut-typa breakfast place, forgot the name. Great looking sportsbook and the western-like sportsbar next to it upon entrance both on the left. Theres also a steakhouse in a very bizarre location upper level and waaay to the left, isolated. Lots of places want to try in the future. If anything, it is a massive place when you venture out into the mall part (the convention and private event areas walk and walk and walk, too much empty room here, thats really the only flaw.) I have my top 5 places to stay in Las Vegas: 1) Durango, (this will never change) 2) Fountainebleu 3) Resorts World (a very close 3rd to FB) 4)Wynn (if you can afford without cramming 8 people in one room) 5) Aria If you want a shit show, stay at MGM, Bellagio, Caesars Paris, Flamingo, Planet Hollywood etc.) If you want simplicity and luxury feel without the massive crowds, come here. Resort has Crockford, Hilton, and Conrad for the rich. A regular room at Hilton did us just fine and it was beautiful, lobby smells great.

Took at least 30mins to even have the line move. Anyways after check in I asked to add an extra night and stay in the same room. I added the extra night through 3rd party website and they confirmed that it's ok to stay in same room but the system didn't update yet so just come back the following morning to pay the resort fee. Which I went to pay in the morning 7/8am. After paying they gave me new room keys so it works for the extra day as well. But tell me why there was no communication between any of the staff and the cleaning crew had came to our room later shortly after I had paid the resort fee and confirmed my extra night. Cleaning lady was rude too we explained to her how we have an extra night and she goes YOU DID??? Like please go speak with other staff before acting like that. To top off this horrible 1 star place we went downstairs to grab dinner at Juniors as it was really packed and looked like good food. Well, we went to the host stand and checked in for the wait. The host Liz told us 5-10 mins and we went off the side to wait. While waiting my friend wanted to go to the casino to play a hand of blackjack. During this time my ID was upstairs in the hotel since I only planned on eating. I stood by the table waiting for my friend to finish. Dealer was super rude and unprofessional rudely asked ID and I told him I'm not playing I'll go back to the side of Juniors waiting for the food table. Anyhow, the dealer had to say "YOU CAN GO PLAY SLOTS BUT THEY WONT PAY YOU IF YOU DONT HAVE YOUR ID" Okay, we get it big guy, I told you IM NOT PLAYING, can we chill I'm literally just trying to enjoy my meal. Then literally that was 5 seconds we return to Juniors and some reason they switched hosts but we were just standing there waiting. No waitlist no number no names. So how do we even know when our table is ready? Liz was extremely rude to us told us you guys left so you have to wait another HOUR after 5 big groups. Horrible experience. She yelled at us with a rude attitude and face. I told her we literally went away for 5 seconds and was waiting for 30+ mins by the side. LIZ then goes I DIDNT SEE YOU!!!! screaming out a bitch face and wanted to fight us. LIZ said that she was told yea we have to serve people in order of the line so whoever is here in front of the stand will get to go in first. Well look she saw our backs turn and left to the side for less than 5 seconds but she never even bothered to let us know we have to wait in front of her face where she can see us to get seated. Well luckily our server Alberto was the best and amazing. He treated us 5/5 perfect props to him. Please give Alberto a raise he was doing his best while it was understaffed with literally just himself, he was literally running from kitchen to tables and cashier to make sure everyone's night was good. I really appreciate Alberto, resorts world please take care of him. Well after our food and some casino plays, my friend and I were trying to get back up to our hotel room but for some reason our card doesn't work for even the elevator. So we had to go to the front desk again to get that fixed. There was a huge line again for check-ins for some reason and it wasn't moving. So we went to the side and told one of the staff members to please update our card since we have a room and the key isn't leading us back up. Again staff was horrible with an attitude, she said yes go wait in that check in line. I don't know how does resorts world even operate. I have a room and already checked in but my room key for some reason doesn't work, why will I stand in line and waste 2 hours of my time just to update the key that was the hotel's error. Well, horrible place I wouldn't be surprised if this hotel/casino does close down. I hope they either train their staff with some manners or hire some new people that don't have the worst attitudes. Therefore, I will not be staying at resorts world ever again, I hope everyone else does not either.

What was missing was a coffee maker and robes in the room. I like to have a cup when I wake up. We are not big gamblers, more people watchers, so we walked through the casino. I did not notice one cocktail waitress on the floor. Is this a new thing? A few ( and only a few) people had drinks. The bathroom is spacious and has all the things!!! I love a tub in a hotel and this tub is the perfect size and angle to lay your head back for the ultimate soak. There is a tv screen in the mirror for your morning news or music videos.... Or a window shade that can go up or down for privacy or to look directly through the room out to that view I mentioned. Ahhh. So this concert was held by the pool in 107° weather and it was not fun at all. I could be wrong about this, but the band only played 1 hour 20 minutes and I think it's because it was so darn hot. And I was not happy about this at all. If I was overheating being in the audience, I can't even imagine how much hotter it was up on stage with the lights, smoke, leather pants... lol. So in the future, if there is a concert held at the M I would make sure to research and make sure that it's not at the pool in summer. So basically, I paid $175 per ticket to go see a band at the pool totally not worth it especially since they only played less than two hours. For those who wanna know I saw Stone Temple Pilots and unfortunately it was not worth my time or money. After this experience, not only will I probably never go to the M resort to see a concert, but I also will never again go and see Stone Temple Pilots. If you're gonna pay almost $200 per ticket and spend three hours of your time preparing and driving there you gotta at least give me two hours of your time for it to be worth what you're charging. The other thing I want to mention is the security guards and customer service staff weren't very efficient in crowd control. People were just gathering right in front of us who paid $175 for their tickets and it took about 30 minutes to get all these clowns out of the way so the rest of us could enjoy the concert. In my personal opinion this might've been one of the worst concerts I've ever been to and it really left a bad taste in my mouth concerning STP. Sadly I believe STP died the day the original front man died. RIP Scott Weiland. You are greatly missed.

It seems as though their renovations have been completed. If you stayed here when it was the Mandarin Oriental, you will remember you had to go to the 3rd floor to check-in. WA kept that process until the most recent reno. You now checkin upon entry, like most places, however, you still go to the 3rd floor to access the guest room elevators and restaurant. I really love all the new touches and also enjoy the touches they kept from the previous franchise. The check-in staff was above and beyond friendly and looked for ways to make sure you would best enjoy your stay. After a long drive and plane ride, it's nice to chat with people who are genuinely engaged in getting to know about your stay. We had made reservations for spa treatments for after we are arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed that time. I would go as far as to say the WA spa is one of the best spas on the strip. Fabulous. The WA is a wonderful strip hotel in a great space and a lot of convenience in and around.

It's nice and quiet and not overly crowded. The staff is fantastic and attentive. They remember your name. The Zen Kitchen offered great breakfast and lunch options. We ate there twice. The pool is not loud or crowded. There's a nice bar and pool-side restaurant that serves food till about 5:00. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. They offer a complimentary car service for ride within 3 miles (but no airport transportation). We used to go to the Wynn for a show. I would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Vegas.

First stay at The Venetian -- and definitely not our last…read more This was our first time staying at The Venetian, and overall, we had a really great experience. We were in Las Vegas for a concert at the Sphere, and one of the main reasons we chose to stay here was the convenience. Being able to walk through the resort and get around without relying on Ubers was a huge plus, especially on a busy concert night. Check-in was smooth, the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We were also upgraded, which was a very nice surprise. The highlight had to be the view of the Sphere from our room -- absolutely perfect for the concert we were attending. The Venetian is an experience in itself. The resort is massive, beautifully designed, and there's plenty to explore without even having to leave the property. For us, the ability to walk around, grab something to eat or drink, explore the resort, and head to the Sphere without worrying about transportation made the stay that much more enjoyable. We typically stay at MGM properties when we're in Vegas, so trying The Venetian was a change of pace for us. Based on this first experience, I'm glad we gave it a shot. Friendly staff, clean rooms, unexpected upgrade, an incredible Sphere view, and an extremely convenient location for a concert. We'll definitely be back. The Venetian has officially earned another Vegas stay from us.

From delicious food choices to great entertainment and a clean casino, I was a happy camper. I also loved their hotel rooms! We stayed in a regular room which I've heard all rooms are suites. It had a dedicated living room which I loved and the bathrooms were huge. This truly felt like a vacation to me. The best part is it is walking distance to the Sphere, so if you're going to a show at the Sphere, staying here is ideal as it's conveniently located to it. Only con was the price of the parking during your stay.

So many things can be said about this property. For me, it's "crowded excellence"…read more There is a lot to love about this place. The beds are some of the best I think I have ever been in. The pillows are soft, the mattress feels like a cloud and the products are really nice and plush. It's no wonder so many people want to stay here. Service overall was good. Our front desk agent Gerard was a highlight. Really friendly and helpful in understanding our benefits we got with our room. Also gave us some recommendations for place to go and try as well. However, we had issues in service among other places in the property, notably the bell desk. We did have about a 2 hour delay before our room was ready so we dropped our stuff with the bell desk. The setup is weird, there is an inside person and people outside. It seems like everything goes through the outside people, we could only drop our stuff with them and pick our stuff up at checkout, we have no idea what the inside guy did except to direct us outside. Also, by the time our room was ready, we couldn't even pick up the stuff at the bell desk, only delivered to the room. It said it would take 15 minutes but we had to call and because it was "so busy" we had to wait almost an hour for it. The massive sprawling casino has a lot of games to play and a lot of different venues for everyone. Minimums are high for table games (as expected) but there is still something for everyone to play. Cocktail service was slow at times, but Sandra was friendly and quick as well as made some delicious cocktails. Overall, it really is a nice property with some great stuff. But it does feel like it doesn't know how to properly control crowds and leaving you like you were truly at a 5 star resort.

Unsafe balconies beware…read more Per security direct quote: "this happens at least once every three months". My experience at this hotel was extremely concerning because of a serious safety issue with the balcony door. I stepped onto the balcony, and when the door closed behind me, it locked, leaving me trapped outside. It was approximately 110°F. Fortunately, I had my phone with me and was able to call for help. Had I not had my phone, this could have become a dangerous situation very quickly. When I reported the issue to the manager, rather than showing concern, she was condescending and made me feel as though I had somehow caused the problem. I specifically told her that I did not believe another guest should be placed in that room until the balcony door was repaired because it was unsafe. I had paid extra for a room with a balcony, yet I could not safely use it for the remainder of my stay. Because I was traveling for work and had a very demanding schedule, changing rooms at the last minute was also extremely difficult. I just chose not to use the balcony anymorez What bothered me even more was being told that if I filed a formal safety report, they would not be able to refund the additional amount I had paid for the balcony. That placed me in an unacceptable ethical position: either report a legitimate safety hazard so another guest would not be placed at risk, or remain silent in order to receive a refund. Of course, I chose to report the safety issue. After considerable discussion, I was eventually refunded approximately $130 related to the balcony charge. However, the way the situation was handled--particularly the manager's dismissive and condescending attitude--was unacceptable. I would not stay at this hotel again. Even if my work required travel to the same area, I would choose another property.

I had free slot play all month but every time I came in, it wasn't there and I didn't have time to hang out and wait for the slot club to open so I left, today I came in the afternoon-no slot play on card. I approach the older dark haired slot host w/glasses.... I said I don't have free slot play and she runs the card, she says the pin was locked again (This is the 5th time in as many months) and I need to reset it. I said OK--done--please reset it again, that pin doesn't work--so I reset it again--OK done--Please reset it again, that pin doesn't work but I had a bad headache and I had already put my players club back in my wallet and really didn't hear her, she looked at me like, excuse me, I need your card... ok, fine, I was losing my patience but said OK--now what? Oh its reset, your free play will be on the card. I wait a bit and go try--NOTHING. So, I called the slot host--Now his name was something like Miladin (I really don't remember exactly how he spelled it) He spent 20 mins on the phone with IT to find out what is going on and he was very nice....He even said he put $30 dining credit on the card, I asked if I needed a Voucher to use it and he said, no, Just go to the restaurant and eat and hand them the card but I would have to go back to the slot lady to reset the pin one more time and get my free play so I did... She was not happy to see me again but is this my fault???? she acted like it was, her attitude was my issue but that wasn't even my breaking point, I told her what happened and she said I need you to reset your Pin, I handed her my Card but remember, I have a splitting headache and the room is kind of spinning--Migraines and she said something to me but I was like, huh? I NEED YOUR ID. OK OK....I said ok sorry, I have a bad headache, slow down--she rolled her eyes....wow, what the actual hell?? I am a good player, I am in there all of the time, what the hell?? why does my card have to be reset anyways? I have been playing at Palace Station my whole life in Vegas--Over 20 years and never ever did I need to go through this but fine, here is my ID She says, what restaurant do you want the $30 for? I was confused because the other guy said it would just be on there and she is asking me this and I said, I thought it was on there, she gets huffy and says, NO, WHY WOULD IT ALREADY BE THERE???? WELL EXCUSE ME FOR BREATHING. i AM SORRY I AM ALIVE, I AM SORRY I AM HAVING ISSUES AND YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR DAMNED JOB. OOPS MY BAD. SO I HANDED HER MY ID AND CARD--SHE DOES HER THING SUPPOSEDLY AND ADDS THE $30 TO THE CARD FOR LUCKY PENNY. I ASKED ABOUT MY FREE PLAY, OH THAT IS TAKEN CARE OF, GO TO THE MACHINE, ITS NOT THERE, NOTHING IS THERE, NOTHING IS THERE, IS THE $30 FOR LUCKY PENNY??? WE WILL SEE... I WALKED OFF AND LEFT MY ID THERE, MY BROTHER WHO WAS WITH ME WAS MAD, HE WAS TALKING TO HER WHILE I WAS OFF CALMING DOWN--THAT MY PIN SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE RESENT 200 TIMES. I COME BACK AND SAID I WANT MY ID. I TOOK MY ID. HE ASKED IF THE $30 WAS ON THERE, SHE SAYS, I CAN'T CHECK THAT WITHOUT YOUR ID LIKE I AM DUMB OR SOMETHING--I SAID LADY, YOU ARE VERY RUDE, YOU NEED TO LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, I AM TELLING YOU I SAID THIS, I AM NOT GOING TO LET ANYONE TALK DOWN TO ME ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM IN THE CASINO 2-3 TIMES A WEEK EATING, DRINKING (Though not today, I have a headache) AND PLAYING, I LITERALLY LOSE $2000 A MONTH IN THERE--SOMETIMES MORE, SOMETIMES I WIN WHICH IS GREAT BUT NOW I DON'T EVEN KNOW MY PIN, SHE RESET IT 4 TIMES.... I am never going to go back to slot club again. ever. She never apologized, she could see i was angry, she was told that I had a headache, she knew I was upset about the free play which by the way she was unable to give back to me and never fixed and she just stood there looking all bothered. I will be back to eat--see if the $30 made the card, I am coming to Borracha's this weekend to eat, I love the food, I love the machines but If I have to go back to reset my pin or talk to her or see her ever again, I will throw my card in the trash, she is so ruuuuuude!!!!!
