Alex is so patient! I'm so grateful for Alex and his patience in working with my tree problem: I have a neighbor who had large trees that blocked my view. She agreed to let me have them professionally trimmed. However, when Alex showed up on trimming day, she was very wishy-washy on what she would let Alex cut and tried to micromanage each branch he cut. He's a true artisan when it comes to tree-trimming and doesn't need to be told what to do. However, he was so patient with her and respectful throughout the process. Alex was awesome the entire time of service! I called to get a quote on removing a 20ft Mexican palm tree and said he could be at my place in 20minutes. Once he got here and took a look at the work needed to be done, gave me a reasonable quote. He asked me what my plans were after the tree was gone; so he could recommend a particular service. We decided to remove and grind the stump down. Alex then asked if I wanted to done today (mind you it was already 4:00pm) I said "yes". Alex and his crew of two showed up on time and three unkempt fruit trees in our front yard were gone and hauled off in two hours, including the stump, which Alex shredded with a portable device. Told him I would like him to come see the job and give me a quote. He came over on a Saturday, spent time, looked around , 4 major trees and 3 fruit trees. He said he wanted to do the job that week. Believe it or not 2 weeks passed and I never received a quote. I once again contacted him through Yelp and asked him what was going on - no response. Contacted him a second time no response. We had two VERY tall palm trees in our backyard, that had to be removed. We contacted Alex (after scanning the internet), and he had us text him photos of the trees. We received a quote the next day, and we scheduled the work for a few days later. He showed up at 7:30am, and didn't leave our house until almost 6pm. Not only did he remove the trees (including the stumps), but he cleaned our pool from the little debris that fell in (which we told him he didn't have to do).
