We just had pvc pipes replaced and added new drips that don't work and now have a leak. They installed DG and that has not been glued down at all and pretty much dirt now... I'm so disappointed because they seems very nice and to know what they were doing. They're licensed, but do not have good customer service or quality of work.

Currently working through the project: stump removal. Began project April 26, 2021. Very responsive to original request. Pleasure to meet the owner as he finished up the project. *Scheduling appointments and providing accurate arrival times or updates for service is not stellar. If you have to arrange work or family schedules to accommodate personal oversight or provide details... it could be a challenge. In the end, project was completed (5/4/21) and the owner and crew are very pleasant. Again, this particular project was interesting and required multiple visits. Communication was a bit slow and sometimes not accurate... having worked with contractors/sub-contractors within this Coachella valley, (our personal experience help shape this review.) If this project was super simple, I believe it would have gone just fine, but a couple of wrinkles really challenged the finishing date. Conclusion: If you're interested in schedules and very detailed communication... it's a work in progress, but they're very kind. I'd give them another opportunity on a project. I'd ask for more details and press for proactive communication (detailed project plan, contingencies for any side issues and ability to adjust with communications, times and dates.) Super nice owners and seem like high quality people. Definitely worth giving them a call or a project. I'll update this review with any future thoughts or projects.

We hired Desert Landscape Line to complete the landscape portion of our backyard renovation, after…read moreour pool was added. We paid them roughly $11,000 in total which was overall a fair price for the amount of work it required, but the quality of their work leaves much to be desired. I hired them based off of a strict timeline because of our pool installation, and when certain items could be completed (I.E. moving dirt needed to be done before Pebbletec was sprayed, we agreed on this a month before they started). On the day they were supposed to start, they told me they overcommitted, and would not be able to start for another 2 weeks. This happened again in the middle of the job, they took on another project and did not show up for a almost a week. While they did a great job in a few areas- they suffered in more. It is now about 6 months since they completed our backyard and the putting green they installed is having to be redone as it is bubbling. Isaac did not put down weed barrier fabric as I had asked him to (he firmly told me it was not needed and asked that I 'trust him'), our $4k worth of rockery is now receding into the ground below, and we're having to pay a new landscaper a fair amount of $ to fix this and add new fabric underneath. Our turf is patchy, it is coming up at the seams around the perimeter. One of the workers cut a giant hole in my hedge which still, after 6 months, has yet to completely fill in. My advice to Desert Landscape Line...Your intentions are good, you are trying to operate professionally (the drawings were appreciated, Emerith does strive to provide great service) but the finishing work is quite poor. If you can't complete a job as expected with quality work, speak up and be honest. I would've rather paid more for somebody who took the time to do it right.

Alex's Tree Services did an excellent job removing a dead palm tree, and its stump, from a super…read moretight space in my backyard. On one side, a foot away from a brick wall. On the other side, a foot away from a concrete inground pool. Passing through this tight spot was an underground irrigation system AND also electrical cables for landscape lighting. I was so scared something was going to go terribly wrong. But Alex had a very unique tool - he says he's the only one in the Valley with it - that allows him to cut up the stump more carefully and deftly without nearby damage. He showed me the hole when he was done so that I could see the stump was GONE. Now, you'd never even know there was a tree there. If you need a tree and stump removed *carefully* from a particularly difficult spot, Alex and his crew excel at that and are superb.
