Cute cozy place with the best Alfredo sauce dishes the chicken is so soft and tender and great cocktails too.

So we arrived a few minutes early and were promptly seated. Menu's were dropped without a wine list. We noticed nine outdoor tables and only one waitress. She was nice when she greeted us. We ordered appetizers and the food for our children to come out the same time. We waited thirty minutes for wine and had to grab another waiter to bring out our drinks. The waiter asked if we want it on ice. Of course we want it chilled, it's white. We are an hour in at this point the appetizers are served, no kids orders. The calamari and clams were tasty, so I ordered another basket of semolina bread to soak it up. I might as well baked it myself. Kids meals are served. My youngest orders an additional sauce. Ten minutes, fifteen minutes, the waiter comes out to the table and delivers a side of sauce. My son has been finished with his plate for a while now. Our main's are served. Plates on table, do you think they would offer salt, pepper, grated cheese? Nope. I had to grab another waiter for condiments. An hour fifteen into our meal then the waitress returns for a water refill. I'm glad the view was nice and people around us were having a good time. The restaurant was clearly understaffed for the night. I counted several tables around us nursing cocktails for over an hour and half patiently anticipating their dinner to be served. Food was typical New City Italian. Next time, I'll take the family to Piermont or Nyack. read more

Came here on a Saturday night after researching on Yelp around New City area. The reviews and pics was enough for me to try this spot out. I didn't make reservations but the host allowed us sit at the bar until a table opened up. The place isn't huge but can sit a good amount of people without feeling cramped. Bar is located in the back across the bathroom. When we got the table, they served complimentary salad and warm bread with side of seasoned olive oil which was great. Started off with fresh mozzarella ($11.99) which was nice and refreshing. For my main, I got the rigatoni bolognese ($17.99) which was solid. my husband and i have been coming here for several years and we've never had a bad meal or experience. i see some of the older reviews that mention slow service and a too-long menu with dishes that don't seem to go together and that was true in the past. however the menu has been simplified to classic italian dishes and the service speed has improved. don't judge this tiny little restaurant from the outside without trying it but definitely make a reservation as it books up quickly on the weekends. the martinis here are huge and delicious. they have specials every night which add to their already stellar menu. they serve complimentary salad before the main course which is a nice touch. we frequent this place every few weeks because we enjoy it so much. if you've never been you should absolutely give it a try! read more

We were told there was a 40 minute wait but since we wanted an inside seat, we were able to find a seat inside. Luckily! The place was jamming. All the staff members were still pleasant and all working as a team. My margarita drink was strong. Both entrees were authentic Italian dishes , great portions; and great prices. Went here on Friday night because of all the great reviews. We ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer, rigatoni bolognese , eggplant rollatini and fettuccine Alfredo. The place was packed, but our order was taken in a reasonable amount of time and the waitress was pleasant. The bread was warm and delicious, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The olive oil was tasty. The fried calamari came out and had more fried peppers in it than calamari. The sauce was tasteless and sweet. Our dinners took a long time to come out and we never received the salad that everyone spoke of. The fettuccini were dry, the bolognese was loaded with meat and peppers, but the pasta and sauce were just okay. The eggplant rollatini was average. For the amount of servers present, we had to flag them down a few times to fill our water glasses. This was a disappointment after all the previous great reviews. read more

Always a favorite of ours, went recently, had to wait about 10-15 minutes past our reservation time which was no big deal to us but received 2 appetizers no charge! Amazing! And delicious! I read the reviews and decided to try it out. I was wowed!!!!! The food was so fresh and tasty...lobster ravioli for my husband and rigatoni bolognese for me---WOW! The ravioli had so much lobster and so flavorful. My Rigatoni was delicious, sweet taste and so fresh. I also had the crabmeat bisque, which was also delicious with so much crab meat. I usually take pictures but the food was so good, my husband and I devoured it! The service was superb, the drinks delicious and ample parking. When we got the bill we were charged for salad. When we got our salad that always comes with the meal it was skimpy. So we asked for more. We received more. When the bill came we were charged for it. Hidden gem. If you're looking for a solid meal to impress a food snob, this is the place. Laid back cozy vibe but high quality perfectly executed dishes. Waitstaff was great, personable and friendly. Make a reservation as this place gets busy. I had the filet mignon: Food is AMAZING with FRESH vegetables, great cut of meat perfectly cooked, creamy potatoes!!! I am SUPER picky, but this place has an amazing kitchen staff!! Superb food!! Service was great, place is very clean; outside patio looks like a great place to relax in warmer weather. Tonight, May 23rd, 2021 was the first time I ate at a restaurant since the start of the pandemic. This was also my first time at this restaurant. My family was seated outside at a comfortable table. All of the servers were wearing masks. Seating between tables was spaced appropriately. A short time after being seated, the waiter brought a basket of hot semolina bread that was served with a seasoned olive oil dipping sauce. This was delicious. A house mixed green salad was included, with ample tomatoes, cucumber, and red cabbage and was perfectly dressed with a light Italian vinaigrette. I chose a special - - - shrimp and scallops fra diavolo. The shellfish was cooked perfectly, soft and tender with a very fresh taste. The tomato sauce was spiced to perfection, not over seasoned as many restaurants do and balanced between acidic and sweet. It was a great time out after a long time in! This spot is one of our favorites. I make a reservation here for birthday, valentines day, anniversary etc. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable small and cute to dine in. The service is impeccable every sing time we go. Food is served fast and absolutely amazing. By far the best chicken franchise in Rockland county. my boyfriend does the eggplant parmigiana and claims that is the best you can get in Rockland county. Overall this place hits every necessity on the dot. This place blew my mind! The quality of the food here was crazy good and it was super cheap...I couldn't believe it! We had the chicken alfredo, veal oscar, sausage with vodka sauce, the frachise trio, and the tilapia franchise. All were sinfully good...as we all sampled off each other's plates. I didn't give it a five star for two reasons... even though the food should be six stars!!! 1. We dined al fresco...surrounded by strip malls (it is New City after all) on a main road that is riddled with construction projects, pot holes, and orange barrels. However the construction chic ambiance paired with my glass of chianti and excellent food, made for a very surreal dining experience. 2. They also need more staff. At Alfredo's, your mouth starts watering moments after sitting down when you are treated to warm thinly sliced Italian bread and a dish of uniquely and deliciously seasoned dipping oil. It would be easy to fill up on bread and salad, but then there would be no room for the appetizers and the main course. Alfredo's menu offers a wonderful selection of Italian specialties, both traditional and unique. Entrées are prepared with sauces that are light, perfectly seasoned, and never overpowering. Honestly had a horrible experience with my waitress she was completely unprofessional and made very sneaky remarks to my significant other. It left a bad taste in my mouth as I was sitting right next to him as well as his grandmother and aunt. The food was alright but the menu leaves you overwhelmed as there are many many options to choose from. I would say the service was fine but possibly only because she was interested in who she was serving. Get it together, never witnessed anything more disrespectful. Alfredo's is the definition of average. Went here with a party of 5 for the holidays and everything we ordered was just okay. The dishes we ordered ranged from veal to pasta. The veal entree was absolutely tiny. The veal serving was not filling whatsoever. My frutte de mar pasta was actually quite good, but the pasta was bland. Some perks were the appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms were yummy and the calamari was also tasty, but when is fried calamari bland, am I right? Something that really turned me off was the sprite I ordered.
