Went out for a girls night this weekend. I've been meaning to try this place since it opened! The back door patio is so cute and the food is excellent. The peaches & prosciutto is a must have! The shrimp scampi app and fig & prosciutto pizza were great as well. We also had the summertime pasta. Service was not so great and I'm going to leave it at that. Our waiter purposely avoided us after taking our order. I have a lot more to say but I know this place is new so I'll say that they're still getting their bearings together.

Christmas Eve lunch was great at this small quaint wine bar nestled in the town of Piermont. Great wine list and food choices. We started with caprese and shared sizzling garlic shrimp- both were amazing. I love the vibe in this place and will definitely be back.

Great portion for the sandwich, it was very fresh with homemade tuna salad and a crisp arugula salad. Pasta was yummy too. Lovely ambiance with backyard patio.

So so so good! It's a small place. The outside patio is lovely. It's decorated cute and it has a nice little vibe. The staff is friendly and the service was excellent! The pizzetes are like flat breads and they were amazing. The peach and prosciutto app is my absolute favorite! The drinks were great too! Let's talk tiramisu though. Holy crap it's the best! Definitely give this spot a try. We will be back

Had a good round of drinks - average food. Then sat for 30 mins for no service. Too bad. Cute spot!

So I booked it for my wife's birthday and was excited to take her and our two kids. This is not a family friendly place. My kids are very well mannered and yet it seemed not welcomed there. Clearly you're under a ticking clock (1.5 hr limit)and the wait staff is impatient, the menu is dense which is great because there's a lot of interesting and unique dishes. But they don't give you time to understand and decide. We had soft shell crab, was very good, fried zucchini blossoms were decent but needed salt, the meatballs were good but needed salt. Pizza was good. I had the porchetta which was good. The squid ink pasta was solid. Wine was great value at $60 a bottle for all Italian wine. We had the Chardonnay and it was the highlight of the meal. But it was hard to enjoy it with the vibe that we somehow were imposing. Honestly it was all male servers plus the owner and I think a woman's touch for hospitality would go a loooong way here to help this place be more convivial. The weirdest and off putting ambiance thing is that they were playing country music which did not vibe with the joint at all. We didn't stay for desert, and glad we didn't.

It's vibey with a big space that allows for weddings / bdays / dinner parties, etc. They offer free valet parking as parking in Piermont can be hard to find. I really wanted to enjoy Otto's Full Service but unfortunately did not. We came for Sunday brunch and were seated next to the piano. At times, it was difficult to conversationally but cool at the same time. I will add that the brunch menu felt very random - you go from fried Cajun oysters to a fried chicken sandwich or a beef gyro. The food was good - must try the fried Cajun oysters! The buttermilk pancakes were tasty as well. They were bananas foster so it was like eating dessert. The service was not as good. Our server seemed to avoid us as much as possible, it was clear she didn't want to be there. We even heard her tell the hostess that she didn't want anyone else to be seated in her section and it wasn't that busy. She never came back to ask us if we wanted more drinks. The manager, Bill, walked the room and made his way around to say hello and check in with tables. He was very welcoming and nice - wish she would take a cue from him.

The restaurant is beautiful and has great views. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Most of us had different whole fish. I had a sea bass which they served whole and deboned. It was fresh and delicious. My daughter had the skirt steak which was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. They did a really nice celebration when the birthday desert was served. It was an excellent day and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend.

The service was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the food was a major disappointment, especially considering the prices. We started with the ceviche special. While it tasted good, the portion was extremely small and contained very little seafood for $35. I ordered the Yellowfin Tuna for $55 (pictured). I requested it medium-rare, but it came out closer to medium and was very dry. The cilantro garnish was wilted, and the presentation was disappointing for a dish at that price point. It certainly didn't look like a $55 entrée. My husband ordered the flank steak with fries. The steak was just okay, not particularly memorable, and the presentation was lacking. The fries were overcooked. The server asked if we wanted a spicy sauce for the fries, but never mentioned there would be an additional $5 charge. That should have been disclosed before bringing it to the table. Another surprise was the credit card processing fee if you don't pay with cash. This was actually our fourth visit, and unfortunately it will be our last. Trata has an incredible location and is a wonderful place to enjoy drinks and maybe an appetizer while taking in the beautiful views. However, the food quality has consistently failed to match the prices, and after giving it multiple chances, we don't feel it's worth returning.
