Wow! What a bummer. Picked this place because of the great reviews. Called a little over a week before Christmas. Alfredo seemed nice, price seemed reasonable. I was told he couldn't deliver until the following week because he was so busy, which was fine. Now it's 2 days before Christmas, my delivery day, and he's a no show!!! No one is answering my phone calls or texts. Super crappy!! I guess that's what I get for trusting yelp reviews! Wait!?! Did that last sentence undermine my own yelp review? Whatever, this dudes a D-bag. Buyer beware oh and Merry Christmas. Thank goodness for the Yule Log channel Update: After receiving zero communication from Alfredo on the day of my delivery he contacted me the following morning. (Christmas eve) I was then told he didn't have the hardwood I had ordered a week ago. All he could give me was the cheap mix. Seeing as I really had no better options, I accepted a 3:30 delivery. Well 3:30 came and went so I reached out to him at 4. He called and informed me he wouldn't make it until 5:30 and he now only had half of the wood I ordered! Ugh. To top things off I was quoted $300 for a cord of pure hardwood however I received a half cord of the cheap pine mix for $180?!? Whatever! He told me when he showed up that his workers hadn't been showing up or something. But why he didn't tell me that the day of my original delivery or answer my text messages I have no idea. I ordered a 1/2 cord of mixed wood ($180) and got way more! They were 30 min late, but the guys were really nice, and they stacked the wood beautifully. And they were very generous with what they brought. A 1/2 cord is usually fills 4x5ft, but they delivered over 5x6. I'll for sure be ordering from them again! read more

It did take a couple of phone calls but he promised to deliver 1/2 cord on Saturday and he was prompt and efficient. I got a nice mix of wood including oak and pecan with the mixed 1/2 cord. I was able to get Alfredo to deliver a half cord of wood once. Other than that, he is very unresponsive. I think if you go to his location and load it yourself, you're probably fine. I order a half cord at a time, so that is not feasible for me. Of the 4 times I have contacted him, I got it delivered once, another time I had a delivery scheduled and he no-showed and 2 other times I could not get him to respond. If you can get to the wood, it's a fantastic price - just not worth the headache for me anymore. read more
