Jesus and his partner were in time and neatly stacked the wood on our racks. They also swept and cleaned up. The whole process took less than 30 minutes and at a very reasonable price. I wrote a prior review. After communication it was noted that they did take cash and credit cards. I found this to be true once you were actually paying. After this it was smooth sailing. They showed in a timely manner and dropped the wood in my driveway. I did not pay the $50 stacking fee but, gave the gentleman a tip. The wood was well seasoned and a good selection of hardwoods as ordered. Of course the government wanted their share; God only knows why. They kept me updated via text through the whole process and the wood was delivered the next day. You can't beat that for service. I would highly recommend them. read more

Great response, service and price. Called on Thursday afternoon and had my have 1/2 cord of wood delivered and stacked the next afternoon.

I recently visited LA and stayed at a friend's place with a fireplace. LA gets surprisingly chilly at night so even in the middle of September she lit a fire at least 3, 4 times a week. She found Tim through a friend (word of mouth really is the best advertising) and raved about the quality of the wood. I love that La Casa offers different types of wood (I am curious to know if burning eucalyptus smells like burning the oil, should ask my friend to buy it next time I am there) but most importantly I LOVE THEIR CAUSE. Wood-as-yard-waste is diverted from heading to landfill to the hearth. The product is clean, pricing is great. Do give them a try. Tim is very helpful with answering any Qs you might have. I just have to tell you how very happy we are with the 1/2 cord of citrus wood we recently purchased from Rancho La Casa Firewood. We've never used citrus wood to burn in our fireplace before, (we always used oak), and we are so taken by the beautiful clean flame, and the fragrance of the citrus wood - it's a beautiful wood to burn. But we're especially happy with the high heat value of this firewood - it burns with as much heat as the oak wood we used to use. Ordering online was easy. I accidently put my land line number in the form but the owner, Tim, contacted me to confirm by mobile number. Delivery was within a day and I got notice an hour before delivery. Free delivery is great and beats the cost of the other firewood place in the West Valley. I ordered all oak and the pieces were all cut to 18" and nice. About 1/3 had no bark and were nicely split which I prefer and the rest were all good and solid. Rancho La Casa gave me the service and quality that once was common but so hard to get now. Hint: a 1/4 cord you can stack yourself if you have a short distance to carry and need some exercise, but any more than that and you should just pay the stacking fee. read more

I don't often write reviews, but in this case I truly felt compelled. With many companies the face of the company is the person who answers the phone. Jose could not have been nicer and more helpful. I was surprised at how easy and quick the entire process was. I ordered a cord of mixed firewood and it was literally delivered within a few hours. The wood seemed pretty dry which I was also happy about. They neatly stacked most of it outside my house and a smaller stack inside. I'd hate having to load up my car with wood and then vacuuming all the loose wood out of it. Those days are over for me. It's important that we support younger companies, especially when they get it right. read more
