Driving through on our way home to PA. We both ordered gyros; ok - NOT the best. Our meal came with "Greek salads" / NOT a Greek salad. The salad was lettuce , fake feta cheese A very thin slice of cucumber and a tomato slice. We also had fries - they where crunchy . Then the waitress brought us the oldest ugliest bottle of ketchup we have ever seen ! Would NOT touch that if you paid me. Definitely NOT a Greek restaurant. My mom and I were only going to be here for a short amount of time. This is the first place we ate! The food was delicious we both had gyros! The meat was tender in both the chicken and lamb gyro! The French fries were bomb. We will be eating there again today! And the prices are very reasonable. We had a party of 13 walk in on a Saturday night with no reservation. We were seated immediately and our server promptly took our drink and food order. We ordered many different items off the menu including pizzas, calzones, pasta, and entrees. The appetizer of garlic knots came out pretty quickly and was nice and hot. The sauce was tasty and the plate was coated in garlic butter. The salads came out early as well and were crisp and fresh. The Greek dressing was fantastic and flavorful. Our entire party was served their meals within a 5 minutes of each other which was pretty remarkable. Even though this is a strip mall find... don't let the location fool you. The music playing was a mix of rock from the 60s-90s. Quite delightful. The only ding would be on the many TVs playing distracted from the overall experience. Great Sicilian style pizza! We order it almost every time we are in the area. I say almost every time because my wife won't let me get it every time. Calzone was very good and the staff are very nice and attentive to your needs. Seriously, forget the wife and get the Sicilian pie. On a road trip to West Virginia, we found this hidden gem. Excellent service and food as well, nice atmosphere. I had the gyro, which was great, my wife and daughter both had the lasagna that was AMAZING. The lasagna came with garlic bread and huge portions which was also great. I ate here a couple months ago and it was absolutely delicious! We had garlic knots for an appetizer. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo, and my boyfriend ordered spaghetti. It's a little expensive but it's sooo worth it! I highly recommend going here. The staff is super polite, and the restaurant is very clean. This restaurant was a big disappointment! We ordered 1 calzone and 1 Stromboli both with the same toppings. When the order came both items were the same. The Stromboli was supposed to have sauce on the inside the Calzone was supposed to have ricotta cheese. Neither had their advertised ingredients. Our waitress, Sissy, handled our complaint showing concern about our displeasure with order. The manager came over and I showed him there was no sauce by cutting into the Stromboli. The food at Alfredo's is very good, however I was charged twice for two different amounts four days after I had left summersville. I also had two charges to my account in summersville I did not make. I called my credit card company and reported the fraud. Alfredo's called me shortly after and tried to say that someone said I was picking up the tab for another table. I responded to them that that was not possible because I wasn't in summersville anymore and had not been there for 4 days. They were very rude and said I was supposed to pay someone else's bill. Absolute waste of time. Spent nearly 5 minutes on phone placing an order for delivery to my hotel. My total came up to over $22 but I was then informed that in order for them deliver to me that the order needed to be $25 or more. The girl then tried to upsell me with a dessert which I didn't want. Nowhere on Alfredo's menu do they advertise a minimum order of $25 for delivery. I cancelled the order and will no longer consider Alfredo's again. I am in the Summersville and Lewisburg areas often on business and will never order from them due to their greediness. I would recommend not giving them your business until they learn how to be more professional and transparent to customers. Stay Away! read more

We are absolutely in love with their Deluxe, or Supreme, or whatever-Sicilian Pizza. And, also can rarely get enough of the Grape Leaves.

Pizza pictures looked way overloaded nothing like Italy seems like everything was fried on appetizers, Pizza, pasta, sandwiches did not see any plates. Salad dressing was good no alcohol. In town for business and decided to Yelp for fine dining In this rural area. Read the previous reviews that were generally good. I ordered the Lasagna that came with a salad, Greek dressing and toasted bread and sweet tea. I have to agree with the positive reviews. A salad is a salad but the Greek dressing made it very tasty. The large portion of Lasagna was to much for me but was flavorful and comparable to other city restaurants. Sweet tea was just right. Excellent food, great portion sizes, friendly and helpful staff. We ordered takeout. I had a hamburger which was very big and dressed perfectly for me (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo). Fries were big and very good. My mother had the chicken parm which was huge and came with spaghetti and a side salad for only $11. Both of our meals were still piping hot when we got back to our hotel room 15 minutes later. My father got the large chef salad which was indeed large and had lots of meat. My only suggestion is that if you are considering between the small and large salads, order the large. The difference in size is substantial but not in price. read more

What a wonderful tasty surprise. On our way to Davis for the annual wild flower hike I spied this gem in a strip mall. Our group immediately perked up. We started with the grape leaves. Tart and savory as they should be. We all dug in. The eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti was spectacular. Huge portions, low cost, and authentic flavors. Mom had the chicken De L' Giardino she was pleased. The Lasagna was great But the absolute best was the eggplant. Rivals anything I've had in Italian.
