Then they changed their mind and wanted to charge me 1500 to get into a new car after paying Them to fix that car that was constantly breaking down. After they promised me they would get me into a new car for free. After I said no, they put me as a repossession. I do not recommend this place. They are terrible.

Due to my work schedule, I wasn't able to fully inspect the vehicle myself before taking it home, so I relied on the dealership's inspection and trusted that the vehicle had been thoroughly checked as stated on the inspection sheet they provided to me. However, the same day I brought the vehicle home, I noticed the brakes were creaking very badly--almost like a seized caliper. This is a serious safety concern, and I do not feel safe driving the vehicle with my wife and child. When I contacted the dealership( I was at the dealership to get my car detailed), I was told they would not address the issue because the vehicle was discounted. At no point during the purchase process was any brake issue disclosed to me. If this had been communicated beforehand, I would have addressed it prior to purchasing. I am respectfully asking the dealership to reconsider and help resolve this safety issue. I believe it's reasonable to expect that a vehicle sold after an inspection should not have an undisclosed brake problem. I'm hoping we can work together toward a fair resolution. Updates, After receiving no response from the dealership regarding my concerns, I escalated the matter by emailing Ken Garff corporate. The following day, manager Jeff who had previously stated the dealership would not repair the issue contacted me and asked me to bring my Suburban back in for service. The next day, I was informed the vehicle was ready for pickup. However, upon arrival, I immediately checked the vehicle and found that the brake issue was still persisting. I notified my salesman, who then informed Jeff. Jeff came out, inspected the vehicle, and stated that the noise was "normal caliper sound." To be clear, the sound is only coming from the rear driver-side caliper( from what we could hear), which is not normal. I expressed my concern, and after further discussion Jeff asked me to meet with Cody from service management to demonstrate the issue. When I met with Cody, I recreated the sound for him. After hearing it himself, Cody stated that they would work on the issue after Memorial Day and we like to make it right for our customers. I will bring my vehicle back on May 26, 2026. After taking the vehicle home (May 22nd 2026), I also noticed an additional issue where the vehicle shakes while stopped in drive at traffic lights, which appears to indicate a possible misfire. I will be informing Cody of this additional concern on May 26, 2026. Update as of 5/28/2026: I called Cody today for an update regarding my vehicle. Cody informed me that both brake calipers were replaced, and they were also able to feel the vibration issue coming from the vehicle. However, Jeff chose to decline any further diagnosis or repair and told Cody not to continue looking into the issue because "it's a used vehicle." Cody also informed me that Jeff would have someone pick up the vehicle today so I could retrieve the vehicle once they call me. If you are planning on purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I strongly recommend having the vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic or another dealership before signing any paperwork with them, they are not honest at all and will not communicate with you. In my experience, management was unwilling to properly address the concerns unless corporate became involved. Please do your research carefully before purchasing from this Ken Garff dealership. Additionally I forgot to mention the salesman attitude has changed in person and text, I requested service invoice multiple time in person and a text no response. I will never buy another vehicle from Ken Garff dealer.

There NOT registered with the state of Utah financial institutions (to offer in house financing they have to be) I had to replace my transfer case TWICE, my transmission, my front differential and after all of that I get a phone call from a constable trying to serve me papers that turned into a repo.... Umm I spent over $9,000 on this truck and the tag isn't even expired yet, now they want $10 grand because I was "late" um sorry I had to sell my left nut to fix this thing.... Now there gonna profit insanely because of all the work I had done. Today is 2/21/25 tag expires on the 28th and I've paid them close to $4,000 Rip off company!!! I'm someone that knows very little about cars and I'm inexperienced when it comes to buying them…read more When I found myself in the market for a new (to me) car, I was wary of used car sellers due to the common dishonesty and shady practices that I've experienced before. I did not feel that way at all at the Good Car Dealer and with Scott. This establishment isn't in the business of selling you lemons, predatory loans, or forcing a warranty on you. I felt confident that Scott is an honest dude selling cars that he has checked over for safety and longevity. He heard me tell my friend that I had wished my next car had a backup cam/bluetooth audio, and a few days later he had found a sound system for sale on FB Marketplace. He paid for most of the installation as well as replacing a speaker at no cost to me. He knew I was already buying the car, and had no reason to go above and beyond besides just being a good guy. Plus, this dealership offers a free warranty of 100 days/1000 miles where if you find something wrong with the vehicle, his dealership will cover repairs. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the SLC area looking for a new ride. I love my little Subaru, I'm really happy with my experience and purchase!
