My brows look amazing after my initial microblading session! I go back for my touch-up this week and I cannot wait!

A friend recommended Alina to me so I decided to make an appointment to get my eyebrows done. The cost for microblading and ombre was $550. Ombre alone was $500, and microblading was an additional $50. Upon arrival for my appointment, Alina warmly greeted me and applied numbing cream on my brows and explained the process. She then proceeded to design my brows and work her magic. I previously had my brows done by Thi Thuy Hong "Ruby" Luu who did a really crappy job and ghosted me after I paid her and she did not do a touch up as promised. Don't waste your time or money on Ruby, go to Alina instead! They are both located inside Phoenix Salon Suites (next to Marshall's in Mira Mesa). When you walk in, go towards your left for Alina in Suite 108. She is available by appointment only and was very quick to respond. Anyway, back to Alina...She was very sweet and friendly. We chatted while she worked on my brows, and honestly it felt like we've been friends. After the procedure she thoroughly explained the after care and provided me the cream, and followed up with a text with the written instructions. I had a very positive experience! Alina is very skilled at what she does and is a sweetheart! I highly recommend Alina to anyone who's looking to get their brows done. She did a great job fixing Ruby's previous work so I'm a very happy and satisfied customer! The brows take about 2 weeks to fully heal and lighten in color. It's super dark for now! I really like how the microblading gave a resemblance of real hair strokes. It's definitely worth the extra $50! Does the procedure hurt? YES! Even with the numbing cream, you can still feel a certain degree of pain. The level of pain really depends on your tolerance. For me, Alina had to reapply the numbing cream towards the end. I trusted Alina based on the good reviews to do my eyebrows. I told her exactly what I want and showed her many pictures and I also told her what I don't want. I explained to her that I want a soft Microshading, Medium brown with arch. My eyebrows were pitch black after she finished my eyebrows, I was really worried but she said " I promise you I used Medium brown" and the color will change. It has been 2 months now and my eyebrows look awful. It's bluish dark grey, uneven ( it was from the beginning which I mentioned it to her), one side is longer then the other side and the arch is cut down not as round as the other side. I paid $650 with tips to do not have to do my eyebrows every single morning, but now it looks so awful that I had to buy powder to cover her mistakes , and she told me " I am human and I do mistakes". I went to see her after 2 months to show it to her and she said she really likes the results. She pushed the mirror in my face at least 10 times and she said "look it's brown , don't listen to anybody else". She talked to me like I am blind and cannot differentiate black from brown. I asked her 3 times" is this medium brown to you?. She answered "Yes" then I told her, " I am sorry Alina I don't want to hurt your feeling but you need to check out your eyes with a doctor" . My hair is blond and I look so ugly with this uneven, dark eyebrows. It's Not me who I see in the mirror. Everybody around me told me how I ruined my face. Alina said I can send my lawyer to her which I promise I will!!! She ruined my face for years!!! Yes she offered she can add some orange to fix the color, but would you trust somebody who did exactly what I told her I don't want??? Don't be fooled, all the pictures on her instagram are made with filters/ photoshop. Mine actually looks pretty good on her page, but you have to see it in real life!!! She also spent less then 2 hours with me ( consultation and microshading). All my friends who have perfect eyebrows said their eyebrow technician spent 3-4 hours measuring every mm in their face, showed them the color they will use. Alina did not show me or match the color to my face at all nor measured!!! Shame on you Alina!!! You couldn 't get either the color nor the shape right that I asked for. The first picture I sent it to her to show her different color browns from dark to medium and my eyebrows look nothing like them. Answer for you: "be fair when posting a picture"- are you saying that I photoshopped mine??? Why would I do that? You actually made this "crooked brows" yes you did, why do you think I am so angry??? You are the one who defend yourself!!! I don't like to write bad reviews unless I am really pissed!!! You messed up my face that I have to cover up every single day!!! Think hard before going here. Update My total was $220 + tip ($250) since I was shocked on the price. Similar experience to Demi below. I didn't like how there was a problem and she couldn't fix it nor cared to. I had an issue with my lashes they were poking me as well. The process towards the end of the service was a bit painful, as though maybe glue got into my eye. Due to the irritation I reached out and asked her how to take them off. (2 days after I had my lashes done) Went to the doctor a got medicated eye drops. Alina texted back and said to leave eye makeup remover on my eyelashes overnight and they will magically wash off the next morning.. that didn't work. She never offered to remove them for me. I told her that method wasn't working and she didn't care. 2 days before my trip I'm struggling to remove these individually pulling my own lashes off. I finally gave up. Thankfully my wonderful waxer, who also does lashes, noticed my irritation and removed them for me with no pain or additional cost (tipped her so much!) Also - I got mircoblading done from Alina about 2 months ago, she had texted me the price for a touch up was $50. This time when I went in she said she add free shading yet the price was $150 for the touch up in addition to the lashes that lasted me 2 days. I didn't complain about the price since I'm sure she must need it, however I'm complaining that the after care customer service was a disrespectful and at the very least could have offered to remove my lashes. I came to Alina's for a wispy hybrid full set after being recommended by a couple my coworkers that have gotten their lashes done by her. Their lashes always looked so good, so I went ahead and scheduled an appt with her, she did have a short wait for availability to fit me into her schedule. I had my appt scheduled for 12pm, I did show up a couple minutes behind for my appt, however she was still in with the previous client before me. No big deal, I understand appts can run a little behind. Went in for my appt, the appt went great. When we got done I looked at the time it hadn't been an hour since I was in there. Again no big deal. I left went about my day, it wasn't until the next night I would wake up in the middle of the night with my lashes bothering me. I've gotten my lashes done plenty times before and I've never had this issue at all. I decided to wait it out, I figured I would adjust to them. 3 days go by and they're still bothering and poking my lash lid. I contact Alina on the 4th day and I let her know I've been having irritation and the lashes are poking my lash line. She responds back to me asking if I've combed them throughly and that's sometimes loose lashes can hurt the lash line of it's not brushed and twisted. I responded back letting her know that I have been brushing them daily, the lashes poking me aren't loose lashes it's lashes still attached to my lashes. She did not respond back. I'm truly upset, I had such high hopes and expectations especially paying for a wispy hybrid full set, I won't be coming here again. First of all let me just say that this was absolutely painless! I didn't feel a thing. All my friends keep asking if it hurt and I can honestly say that when Alina started I wouldn't have know if it wasn't for the noise from the blade.
