Sending a direct message to have Celine answer my questions and concerns given my face type and products I used, she made me feel comfortable in my decision so I booked the appointment. Good to let her know your skin type, products you use and such so she can guide you on what is the best direction for microblading for your skin before your appointment. Well....after a LONG time of following multiple and I mean M U L T I P L E microblading artists/businesses, I stumbled upon Celine's Beauty Studio on Instagram. I followed her work for almost a year since moving to San Diego and just knew "this is the place I will get my brows done at". Why? Because the technique and the style of Celine's work is what I want for my everyday life. It was the most natural that I've seen. Anyway, there was an opportunity to be a microblading "model" for the Junior Artist, Cassie, so since February is my birthday month, I booked for my brows to get microbladed as a gift for myself. The booking process was super easy and the studio was daint and elegant. Cassie is a sweetheart and made sure to explain everything to me throughout the process. I truly appreciated her patience because my left eyebrow is a piece of work but she made sure to do her very best and took time to map, draw, blade, and add where it was needed. The actual microblading process was pretty quick compared to the mapping out the shape but it was pretty relaxing aside from my tummy grumbling nonstop. The first round was, no joke, a shock. Cassie warned me it'd hurt a little. She was not wrong! Lol. Some strokes were pretty painful but tolerable. However once the first layer was done, she applied numbing cream and that made the rest of it much better. Can't wait to go in for my touch up in a few weeks! Thanks Cassie! Celine is amazing. My brows turned out perfect. I went in thinking I should get microblading, but ended up getting a combo brow (micro blading at the front, powder for the rest). I am so glad Celine and her expertise convinced me to make that switch. She explained her reasoning very thoroughly, and she really knows her stuff. I had an open cut on my eyebrow at my first appointment-- even though I was super bummed I had to postpone my appt because of it, I appreciated how much of a perfectionist Celine was and that she respected my health and brow-hopes to ask me to wait. At that first appointment, she still drew my brows on so I could see what shape they would be. She allowed me to make as many adjustments as I needed to, and my brows turned out amazing because of it. She is kind, attentive, and detail oriented.
