And there was that same dry, overcooked chicken again. The papaya salad was okay. It was a little soggy, but I'll give credit where it's due: that level 3 spice was LEVEL 3. They definitely understood the assignment there. The chicken satay was overcooked too, although the flavor was actually good, so there was potential. The winners of the entire meal? The cream cheese rolls and egg rolls. Those were genuinely good and easily the best things we ordered. I really wanted to love this place, especially because I can appreciate the little house-turned-restaurant vibe, but when the appetizers are carrying the entire meal, we have a problem. So far the highlights of our meals have been the Larb salad and the papaya salad. They were both loaded with just the right of spice and tang that delight my tastebuds to the heavens! I ordered mine at a hot spice level and they definitely came through on the heat!!!!! My only critiques are this. I wish the larb salad came with cabbage instead of a mixed green salad. I also think that the shrimp dumplings taste great but are overpriced in my opinion. 3 small dumplings for 10 dollars seems like too much. Overall this place is amazing! Highly recommended. Get the larb and the mango sticky rice. We plan to come back a few times a month.

It was very quiet with one other couple in the restaurant. We ordered the summer rolls with shrimp ($5.99), house Thai fried rice with shrimp ($15.99), and pad se ew with chicken ($13.99). We were told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. There were plenty of open tables so we grabbed a seat by the door and waited. Our food was ready about 15-20 minutes later. We weren't asked about any sauces and the hostess left as soon as she gave us our food. The food was hot and fresh when we arrived back at our hotel. Fortunately, there were napkins and silverware at the bottom of the bag, but no chopsticks or spicy sauce. The summer rolls were unique to me, mostly lettuce and maybe one or two shrimp cut in half and served with a sauce with little flavor. The pad se ew was okay - plenty of chicken in the dish and some veggies too. Had a very mild taste. The house-fried rice had a very smokey flavor to it but lacked the authentic Thai spices we are used to. Tasted like plain fried rice from a Chinese restaurant. All in all, it filled our bellies but I probably won't go back.
