Quiet, fun atmosphere. Feels very hole in the wall, I was one of the only people in here. I was greeted and seated immediately, and the host was very friendly. Service was very quick and I receive my food quickly. The Panang curry broth was tasty, there was just a lot of extra veggies that aren't traditionally in Panang curry that I've seen (corn, edamame, peas, carrots) and the chicken was not very seasoned. We've been here 2x. My husband thinks the yellow curry is very good. I've tried two different things, including pad see ew, and wasn't a big fan of either. Not horrible, but not very good, either. The food here was really good, but the service was very slow. When we arrived, there were only 2 other tables and they already had their food. So we were really the only table that needed to be serviced. It took us so long before anyone checked up on us that we had to ask another table if we were supposed to walk up to the lady to place our order. But the other diner said that she would eventually come over. Our food came out pretty quickly, and everything tasted great. But again, the waitress never returned to check on us or offer us more water. Also, on the bill we were randomly charged an additional 3.5% service fee. No mention of that anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu, at least not clearly. I'm thinking your best bet is to order takeout so the food is ready when you arrive and less waiting around. read more

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time today and we loved the food and the decor! The man working there was also very nice and helpful. My boyfriend got the sweet and sour stir fry, and he ate every bite of it and loved it, and I got the rice soup and also loved it. The food was also presented very well. Not sure if it's typical Thai or just to distract from the deferred maintenance issues of the building. Look past that. Was in town to visit my teen who is at Berry College for the summer. I didn't want to hit this place because it wasn't good last time but my son was jonesing for Thai. Very pleasant staff all around. Seated quickly and both people were very engaging. Wife and I ordered the Fresh Basil rolls and some Pad See Ew with tofu. The rolls were fresh with a very tasty basil flavor but could have used some more varied veggies instead of just a lot of lettuce. The pad see ew was spot on with a sweet finish and veggies that were cooked just right. Went with 4 out of 5 for heat because I was splitting with the wife but they threw in some chili powder that ramped it up. Sign out front said under new management. There are a lot of people who just don't get a chance to experience different places and restaurants. This place sucked from the outside and was not much better on the inside. As we come and sit down the place was not the cleanest and could have used another wipe down on the table. Especially the salt and pepper shakers. As we get our menus and order drinks we notice a dead roach on the floor. Do not be fooled by this joint's unassuming exterior! It's a shabby-looking building in a ghetto kinda parking lot. I only went because I'd noticed some positive Yelp reviews and I like checking out new non-chain places in Rome, GA. Once I figured out where it was, I very nearly said, "Screw this noise, I'm going downtown." I'm glad I didn't, though, because the restaurant tells a very different tale inside. It's clean, attractive, and staffed by extremely courteous people. Plus, you can park right in front of the place and keep an eye on your car. In this area, you might want to do that. The food has its hits and misses, but is overall very good and certainly a cut above most of the options in town. The appetizer dishes are pretty standard - it's the same kind of fried goodies (crab rangoon, egg rolls, etc.) you could get at any Thai or Chinese restaurant. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Their Thai tea, however, is simply delicious. It ranks with the best Thai tea I've had, so I absolutely recommend trying it out. It's about $2.50 for a really huge glass, so drink up. I've ordered the yellow curry with chicken a couple of times, and love it. It's the right amount of sweet and savory, and the chicken is cooked perfectly - tender and juicy. Why do restaurants almost *always* overcook chicken? Stick with the rice, though - the order of steamed vegetables is a waste of money. Seriously, it's about a half-cup of frozen vegetables. Not seasoned, nothing. Blah. I haven't left room for dessert yet, but there's always next time. read more

Okay, first is the restaurant itself. It's trippy. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside and like Martha Stewart OD on the Thai stick when she was decorating. I love it! I've been having the food delivered for a while, and it can be excellent. It can also miss the mark. The Tom Kai soup is delicious, but you have to be careful not to have them add any superfluous vegetables like broccoli. This Pad Thai on the other hand was chopped into bite-size bits, with no carrots or mung bean sprouts (apparently they were unavailable ) and was way too wet to eat in the restaurant. That being said it was excellent for lunch the next day. The Basil rolls were crunchy and fresh. Very nice. The Massaman curry had too many potatoes in it. I know you want to stretch it, but I have enough starch with the rice. Service could be a little more attentive. But don't worry, I will be back! read more

To be honest, I did not have high expectations moving to Rome and finding a good Thai restaurant. Coming from Atlanta and having high standards when it comes to my Thai food, I didn't expect to find anything decent. Well they proved me wrong. During my first weekend ever in Rome, I've tried both Thai restaurants and this one is by far one of my favorites (of all times!). The restaurant looks like a run down shack from the outside, quite sketchy. There is no AC (I'm hot natured and sweat the moment I step outside). But the chef is a little adorable Thai lady and she made my food spicy level just the way I wanted. Flavor profile: 9.5/10. The taste is on point. As authentic as it'll get, at least for Rome, GA. Quite frankly, the food here tastes way better than most Thai restaurants I've been to (Atlanta area, Augusta, Athens, Norcross, Duluth, so on....). I judge a Thai restaurant by their Basil Noodle (drunken noodle) and I always order it whenever I try a new Thai restaurant. This one exceeded my expectations. Dining experience: 8.5/10. Service was fast and staff (which is just a husband and wife) was super friendly. Only con = no AC. I highly recommend this place. Enjoyed a lunch here last week with my niece who lived in Thailand. She ordered for us and out came a meal fit for a king. We ate our green papaya salad with sticky rice, it was fresh and tasty. Then soup followed by our entrees served with steamed rice. Our server helped us order just the right level of spicy so we could really enjoy our choices.
