Oh my goodness!!! Everything was so good !!! The Thai tea to start which is fabulous and the Thai platter is insanely delicious The Massaman curry was my favorite. Probably the best quality food in Dawsonville. Most Thai dishes are Gluten and Dairy free, but the staff was great to make sure of that for us. The flavor and spice was everything curry is supposed to be - comforting, warming, and vibrant. We will definitely be going back! read more

My wife and I met teaching English in China and started dating at our company's conference in Thailand, so my estimation of Thai food is dated but informed. We had the dumplings, chicken satay, green curry chicken, masaman curry beef, mango sticky rice, Thai tea, and a Singha beer. I can't think of a Thai restaurant in America where we've eaten that was even close to this good! Especially with green curry, we've found such a mixed bag of preparations, and my wife is really happy to have found good green curry. The prices are a little high, and the ambiance is a bit low, but the quality of flavor and ingredients more than justifies the price, and the service was fantastic! Having read other reviews, I'm curious what happened the days the two low reviews were written, but hey - to each their own, I guess. The servers and manager were attentive and kind, and the food came out quickly and to order. We don't come through this area much, but we'll be finding reasons to come back! We spent close the $90 including tip for three people on completely inedible food. The calamari appetizer was small, flavorless and unbearably tough. Entrees tasted weird, like spices not typically used in Thai cuisine. Same with the spring rolls they reeked of something that I have never experienced in Thai spring rolls before. My wife and I love good Thai food so when we were in Gainesville, we looked for a Thai restaurant. Although not it Gainesville, the restaurant was not far out of our way back to Cherry Log. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Thai Basil Fried Rice. They were both delicious and spiced perfectly to our requested heat levels. The service was excellent as well! I absolutely love this place. I was going to Home Depot to pick up some materials and saw it in the little strip of shops before HD so pulled in. I'm so glad that I did. The chicken pad Thai has got to be some of the BEST pad thai I've ever had. I've probably eaten here over a dozen times by now since I found it in November. as usual we had great authentic Thai food and awesome service. This is a family run business and it shows in the wonderful combinations of Thai spices in each dish. We ordered several appetizers and each was perfectly seasoned ! My advice to the previous disgruntled poster is to understand what the word "appetizer" means. It's not a meal.
