Adopting Stella was such a huge event in our life, I really wanted to capture some of the puppy times before they were gone. And she was growing so fast, I knew I had to act quick! Kelly did an amazing job capturing our life with dog. Stella was a little tense/nervous/confused about all the commotion and posing for pictures, so I was worried that would show through in the photos. I was also afraid that my own awareness of the camera would not allow us to look natural in photos. I was so wrong! Kelly was able to beautifully catch the "real" moments in between any bouts of awkwardness. :) Our shoot was one week before Christmas, so I wasn't expecting to see our gallery until after the holidays - to my surprise and delight, Kelly had our full gallery online on Christmas Eve! It was so nice to be able to share the photos with family members in town for the holidays. Kelly's prices are incredibly reasonable compared to some other local pet photographers. We found Sweet Me Photography online and were able to book a reservation just a few days out. Our photographer Rachel (Portland, OR) was very talented and sweet. You could tell she works with babies often and is comfortable with them. It was great that she was able to come to our house and bring everything she needed with her, including tons of props/outfits/swaddles. She took her time with us and our baby and the pictures she took speak to that. Their pricing was upfront, clear and more than fair for the quality of the photos taken.
