She looked through historic records and showed me what had been going on in my neck so I understood the treatment plan. At times I was in tears because I didn't know if the cyst was going to show malignancy; fortunately it did not. She was calming and kind, answering all my questions and then some. I had such a great experience with her. Why? *Dr. Nguyen is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and empathetic. *She and her team are very organized, and my appointments have all been on time. * Even if she has difficult news to share, she is still genuine and compassionate. *She informed me of risks and let me know honestly when some pain might be involved. Jeff, her medical assistant, is truly a gem. Every time I interact with him he's extremely pleasant and compassionate, and helpful as anyone could be. No worries about getting information I need, he's got a copy ready for me. His manner is also calm and kind, and I can imagine his patients adore him; he's that kind of person. Dr Manoso showed me the X-rays and explained my injury. Thankfully it appears as it may heal w/o surgery. After an exam he said this would take some time to heal and to be patient. I was given the OK to walk and do some light aerobic on the elliptical but at less than my pre injury 60 minutes time. Not required, but recommended. This mammogram resulted in abnormal cells that had to be removed. The lip lift left my entire upper lip (from nasal, down and around the lip and inside the lip) PERMANENTLY numb. I don't know if most people can recognize the consequences of this. The lip is always dry, chapped, peels a lot and very tight no matter how much chapstick I use. The area above my lip is white because of the numbness. I can't feel if my nose is running or bleeding, which it does frequently. It always feels like a "fat lip". Upper bleph: I have permanent eyeliner that was very expensive. He cut right through the eyeliner instead of going above it like on the other eye. I've spent $500 trying to get it fixed to no avail. The eyeliner will forever be uneven from side to side and look weird on one side. The laser: I have a small widows peak. He lasered that peak off. I lived through the growing back which was very awkward. Now the hair won't grow very long and has a mind of its own. It doesn't behave the way it used to and because it's always short, it's very hard to control. These may seem like small things but I mention them because he was very cavalier and arrogant when I came back in a year later. A good plastic surgeon pays attention to these small details.

She canceled the appointment on site, after I had waited a full hour because of the double booking. She ordered blood work. Then charged me for the appointment. There is still no resolution.
