Very nice animal hospital. Gal on the phone was very nice. (Our kitty had thrown up over a dozen…read moretimes in an hour and was having trouble breathing.) Once she confirmed it was an emergency with the doctor, they told us to come down right away. They were able to work us in and took great care of our kitty. Both the doctor and veterinary tech/assistant were extremely kind and caring. Since we didn't have an appointment, and because it was Sunday, it did take some extra time waiting in the exam room but that should be expected. X-ray was recommended, which we approved, and treatments were discussed with us by the doctor. Nothing was done without our consent and nothing was done as a surprise. We did have to pay the add-on emergency fee. But frankly, if that fee keeps people without actual emergencies from filling the place up on the weekends when our regular veterinarians office is closed then we are happy to pay it. (It was a $65 add on and in my opinion was well worth it.) We hope to never need another emergency veterinary visit when our regular vet office is closed but are very happy to know Robinson Animal Hospital will be here if we need them. If you are serious about taking care of your pets we highly recommend Robinson Animal Hospital. If we lived closer we would seriously consider switching to this vet. Thank you for taking such good care of our little one.

After picking him up I asked if his nails were done due to them being long and they said YES. I took him to PetsMart and they said that he needed them done. I called and talked to Sherry, and she was not helpful and was not professional. When you spend almost $500 you expect the things that you paid for to be done. I have taken my puppy since he was 8 weeks old there and told them that they needed to make this right and they just kept saying that they could do it for FREE, I have already paid for it!!! I will never take any animal there and will be looking for another VET.

I can't in good conscience recommend this business. Although the staff are nice and seem friendly…read moreand caring I believe the business side is a little broken. We dropped our dog off on the way to the airport after booking on the phone. No one mentioned that they only take cash nor was it on the web. Luckily we had withdrawn cash for our trip so we didn't have to seek out an atm. The website stated that with a 5 night stay you got a free bath. Our dog was there for 7 and when my wife called to check they said it was for a 10 day stay. She took a screenshot of the website and sent it to them so we didn't get the bath. The website has since been shut down. We also left her medication with them and they said they would handle it. We left exactly 7 pills for the 7 nights. When we picked her up they returned the bottle with 4 pills remaining.

The Johnson City location is FAR from professional. I had many problems with the people that work…read morehere. Beginning with Randi. She was very difficult to get ahold of. I left messages on voicemail and FB and did not receive anything back for days. I chose the 2 week board and train. Andy was training my Doberman "Chopper". I was told before hand that I would frequently be updated with photos and videos of training. I had to contact Andy multiple times to receive any information at all on how chopper was doing. After he updated me the first time it had been 3 days and he still had not engaged chopper in any training at all. Upon pickup Andy was very unprofessional while my sister was around making an off color comment about the tightness of the collar. He said "You want the collar to be tight enough where you can only fit 2 fingers in there. Thats my motto with everything in life." Andy also told me and my sister he did not get to work Chopper off leash much at all. I was very confused by this as the name of the company is "Off-Leash K9". Chopper did good with all the commands when I picked him up. But one very important aspect of the pick up was there were no distractions around at all. About a week and 1/2 after pick up, and after 3 different collars changes due to Andy putting Long-Haired prongs that were too powerful on Chopper (I only know this because the collar stopped working so I brought it into the Alcoa location where Fallon was VERY HELPFUL and informative) I gave Randi a call because Chopper was not obeying commands as he should of. He was still bolting after dogs in the neighborhood. Snipping at my smaller dog which I previously complained about. Not listening in the house when people were over. Mouthing on peoples hands (plays bites but they can be scary to younger kids). Me and my mother typed an email to Randi complaining about the lack of obedience Chopper had. She called the next day completely laughing in my face about some of my complaints. She offered to bring him back in for re-training, but I was not for this because I had already purchased their most expensive and extensive training package. Chopper was there for a total of 17 days and they had not got the job done. I asked for a refund for the training, but offered to pay $800 for the collar and for the boarding of the dog as I saw that to be more than fair. She continued to laugh in my face about this proposition. The entire program cost was $2800 and I believe they had more than enough time to get the training right. I would not recommend the Johnson City location to anyone. If I did recommend something it would be for the people in the Alcoa location, aside from Randi, because all the employees their were more than helpful and informative.
