    Double whale fluke dive
    Aileen C.

2/23/24- Captain Tim and his crew James and Josh were all fantastic. Booked a Whale watch tour for our family of six. Beautiful day, high but soft swells, and the whales! OMG! We saw so many, even a synchronized, double whale fluke dive, several single flukes. Two full breaches right in front of us and lots of spouts!!! Can't say enough about the helpful crew James and Josh. Our every need was met. Helpful hands getting from bow to stern. Captain Tim skippered the boat with excellence. Smooth sailing all the way. We felt safe and in very capable hands. We all had a wonderful adventure and highly recommend All Aboard Adventure. We will definitely be returning. Thank you All Aboard Adventures!!!

First time whale watching. We saw whales and the weather was perfect. Definitely had some people but we were fine

Tim and his crew always do a great job and the boat is comfortable. Easy to book a trip I just called and told him what day I wanted to go and he had plenty of room. We had another great crab/rockfish combo with limits for the whole boat. Can't wait to go again

The crew will cook and clean your catch

Happy I booked a last minute crab charter for my son and I. They were very accommodating, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Every other client had fished with them regularly and raved about the combo trip too. The entire crew was friendly which if you've been on enough charters you know this can be rare. First mate Josh was kind and encouraging to my son and we got our limit. We will make sure to book a charter with All Aboard for every visit now.

    More smiles all around!

This was a great day fishing with my son in law and grandsons. We all got limits but what made the trip was the way the Skipper and deck hands treated my grandsons. This was their first time ever on the ocean. The first thing they asked when we got in was, "When can we go again grandpa." Thank you to the skipper and crew of the Sea Hawk. I will definitely go again

Captin Tim and his crew were amazing. Me and both my boys ages 11 and 13 went out and caught our limit. With help from the captain my youngest son caught a nice Ling. The captain and crew made sure the younger kids on the boat were always being helped and having an awesome time. Could not say enough good things about this outfit. Will be back soon.

Great fishing trip! Crew was very attentive and helpful. Everyone on board caught plenty of fish. Highly recommend!

Our final tally was limits of rocks, lings, and crabs on the Sea Hawk with Captain Tim. Folks pulled in some nice, big lings and some huge vermillions. I also somehow got a rock sole. Great skipper putting us on the fish. Great, on the ball, crew: Matthew and James. If someone broke their tackle they were right there with a rigged pole ready to drop. No bananas!!

Limits on Salmon July 8th 2014... Captain Tim is great and so is the crew. We always prefer to go out with captain Tim !

Best captain and best crew. Captain Tim works hard to get you on the fish and keep you there .. Limits and Salmon and Rock Cod 3 years in a row :)

I let them know we could do Thursday or stay with Wednesday and was told they would get back to us early Tuesday. Well at 4:45pm on Tuesday we reached out and asked if we were on for Wednesday and was told it is a no go and they are still working on putting something together for Thursday. I get it Charters are in business to make money and just a few folks on an outing isn't profitable but to leave booked clients hanging until the 11th hour and not reach out to them is not good business. What gets me is we saw them leaving the harbor twice on Wednesday. We're assuming it was for Ash scattering based on the attire and somber faces of the passengers and the lack of visible fishing gear both times. Not a bad turn for them at $500-$600 per trip (if the rates I recall are still them same); less time, less work... Bottom line is they didn't have the courtesy to call/text us to let us know we should look for another charter, we had to reach out to find out... Too bad, we have quite a few buddies who love to fish and we'll continue to go with the charter that got us in last minute and put us on our limits...

We chose to stand on the outside deck of the train. It was a bit windy, I recommend bringing a jacket. The train ride to the Blair Bar was 20 minutes. Once we arrived the views were spectacular! It wasn't time for sunset just yet but once the sun started going down the lights became more vibrant. We immediately walked over to the bar to grab a drink. We ordered 2 old fashioneds and they were nicely poured with a good amount of whiskey. There was live music, and tons of seating around warmers and large fire pits. They offered s'mores kits and light snacks. The pits do get a bit crowded. We couldn't get a seat until the 9pm train left. Which opened up some spots around the fire pits. The whole experience was great. It made me feel like I was in a scene of Virgin River! Definitely recommend if you're ever visiting the Mendocino or Fort Bragg area of Northern California.

They are smooth, quiet and comfortable with full back support. Previous bikes had a tractor type seat with no back support. The new seats are firm so you might want to bring some padding. I talked with them about this and they were very receptive to me. Since they are electric with pedal assist, we decided to use the electric motor the entire distance. That way we focused on the experience 100% and it was delightful. A perfect, personalized lunch was provided, which added to the experience. Safety is top priority with them so with several road crossings, some with crossing arms/signals and some without, excellent care was taken to make the crossings safely. Our guide was Atlas and he was training 2 new employees. Everything went perfectly! All three of them were so kind and constantly wanted to attend to everyone's needs. I recommend you take the rail bike tour, sit back and enjoy the ride. Just imagine the amount of work that went into making the rail line over 100+ years ago. With the bikes, you sit just above the rails and can marvel at what it took to build this and any rail line. You will have a new appreciation for all railroads. You wind your way through the hills and I believe I read there is a section of the line that winds over 8 miles to actually travel a straight line of 1 mile. It is an engineering marvel. Enjoy!!!!! I attempted to make a reservation for the harbor tour with Captain Dan for my anniversary. When I called I reached a voicemail inbox and began to leave a message, but in the middle of it someone picked up - no greeting or other info, just a very brusque "hello?" Out of simple curiosity I asked if they ever do whale watching trips at other times of year, but was abruptly interrupted by the person shouting, "why doesn't anyone ever look at the website, we don't do that here!!" I was so taken aback that I apologized and hung up. The tour genuinely looks like it would be lovely and I was interested in what Captain Dan would be able to tell us about! But I'm not about to risk continuing to being treated so rudely on a special occasion.

Booking online was super easy, we were sent a confirmation email with a number to call to confirm our tour time. Since the availability of the tour in really dependent on the tide, we did call back a couple weeks ahead to confirm and pay for the tour. Kristin helped us though the process and made it really easy and painless. Captain Dan was super nice. I appreciate all the stories and knowledge he shared about the harbor, who does what in each boat, the surrounding properties, his time in Alaska, and more. Such great conversations. We got pretty lucky because there was a couple boats selling tuna and cleaning fish so there was a lot of sea lions and seals around waiting for fish. We were on an electric boat, so it was really quiet and didn't scare away the marine life and we were able to get up close. We got to see lots of beautiful birds, he had even told us which ones to watch because they dive down and catch fish. And we did see one catch a fish! It was so cool. Such an amazing experience we'd go again the next time we're out in the area. I definitely recommend!

Russian River Railbikes is part of the Golden Gate Railroad Museum, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to maintain, restore and run historically significant railroad equipment from the San Francisco Bay area. The guides are all volunteers from the Golden Gate Railroad Museum. The guides were friendly, helpful, and informative. You will get somewhat of a workout, although this is not strenuous. This is an activity that you can really do at any age and they are kid friendly. One of the guides stated that they have had someone in a car seat before (they have seat belts on them similar to a car) and a couple in their 80's has gone multiple times and they arrange ahead of time to have two guides on the railbike to help with pedaling. This truly is a great adventure for all ages! It's about 1 1/2 or two hours total and you will pass by a vineyard and farm. You will also go through a tunnel and stop half way where you will get out and stretch your legs. You can relax at a shaded table, dip your toes in the Russian River, or view a collapsed tunnel at this half way point. You will also have the option when you book this to purchase lunch ahead of time that you can enjoy at the half way point if you would like. It's recommended that you wear comfortable clothes, wear sunscreen, and bring any water and snacks with you on the railbike. We each brought a water bottle that came in very handy. You will have plenty of time afterwards to explore Cloverdale. An all around great experience that I highly recommend!
