Another great experience with All About Blinds and Debbie. I have used All About Blinds twice now on two different homes downtown. Each time we have elected to do the roller shades and the process has been seamless from start to finish. Our first condo was pretty straight forward, but the second job was far more complicated. We moved into a new construction concrete loft with very strict and unusual requirements on exactly how to drill into the ceiling with only 1/2 inch drilling allowed. We could not drill into the windows due to warranty, which is often another option. Debbie moved mountains locating contractors who were able to work within these requirements after the initial contractors turned down the job. She worked with our building and Hunter Douglas to completely understand the construction job and make sure the installation crew came prepared and knew exactly what to do with the drilling requirements. Many other owners in my building experienced frustrations with other blinds vendors cancelling their jobs after learning about the drilling regulations in my building. I am happy to say Debbie managed this entire situation without any added stress on our end, and our blinds look GREAT! read more

I would give zero stars but yelp doesn't have it as an option . Stay away from this business. I was a repeat customer. We purchased window treatments from this company and the treatments frayed just after 2 years. This shouldn't happen as we all know. We decided to change them to a different type of window treatment. We gave our deposit 9 months ago to this company and here we are 9 months later after the owner came out and measured our patio window. As it turns out installers came out for installation and they said they could not install because the cassette would not fit under our cornice, second issue was the automatic shade wouldn't clear because of our door handle and the shade was too big. I called the owner after and she declined my call sending me a text message of what next steps would be and she also said she'd call me back. Guess what she never called . I had to have my husband call because she wouldn't recognize his number. She picked up right away, assuming it would be new business. He told it was fair to receive our payment back as well as a few hundred more since she's had our money all this time she said she'd get back to him instead she ignored his texts my texts and voice mail. I highly recommend you do not do business with this company. How do you sell a window treatment without measuring properly and then become dishonest and say she didn't see a cornice and then admits to my husband she did. All I can say is choose a different company! It's something how quickly Debbie responds to an honest review yet does not call her customer back beforehand. If you take your business serious , you should make sure you measure accurately the door handle has always been there as well and the cornice was also there when you came out. . After all your website states you've been doing this for years and you take pride in what you do. Next time you have a client, make sure you sell something that will work in their home. We weren't upset about the treatment taking long. That part we understand. We were upset because you didn't measure accurately and you tried to hide that. You should also reach out to your customer when you say you will. After all we did give you business twice. It's the least you could have done . read more

We are very happy with our experience. Debbie, the owner, was friendly & professional. In short, great. She brought blinds and other option samples to our house. She assisted us in our many decisions rather than "selling" to us, and the answer was not the most expensive or highest mark-up option. We then visited the showroom to get better visuals in comparing a few options. Then the blind / shutter installers were also great. They noticed small defects in the shutters (coming from a national manufacturer) that were on the back ends and we would never have noticed until long after they were gone, if ever. They graciously temporarily installed the tiny-flawed product anyway until perfect replacements arrived in short order and then they reinstalled them and sealed and caulked everything flawlessly for a beautiful result. I had to replace a Hunter Douglas vertiglide. I reached out to All About Blinds and received a call right back from Debbie. She set up an appointment to come out that worked with my schedule. They do not make the blind I have anymore, so Debbie found one that was the best match. Also, while she was at my home, I have 3 blinds that work only via remote. They were not working so we switched out all the batteries and the ones in the remote. Then she called her contact for service, who told her how to get them working. We have been remodeling our house for the past 1.5 years...doing one room at a time. For each room with windows, we ended up using All About Blinds for the window coverings. We have a loft so none of the window sizes are standard and no matter what, we would have to have any covering custom made. We researched every option before calling Debbie with All About Blinds as we were slightly terrified of the quote we would get. The quote for the first round of windows in our living room for roller shades wasn't anywhere near as scary as we had anticipated. They were installed several weeks after ordering and look fabulous. We opted for a more transparent roller shade as we like the light that comes through, but it also allows for a little privacy at night (we only have one neighbor that has direct vision into our living room). For the next room we didn't even hesitate to call Debbie. We weren't really sure what we wanted for this room, but knew we needed something that allowed more privacy as this was a guest room that faced a main walkway for our building. Debbie knew exactly what type of roller shade to suggest to us with more opaqueness and even chose a pattern that I would not have picked out on my own...and it turned out fabulous!!! The final room is what was terrifying us...our bedroom with 17 ft ceilings that we wanted curtains for instead of roller shades. While these were the most expensive coverings we purchased for the house, they were quite a bit less costly than anyone else quoted us. We opted for a beautiful metallic crinkly material for the curtains with sheers in a silver color. Debbie also suggested we have a ceiling track installed for them as opposed to a regular rod due to the weight of the drapes. The drapes took a bit longer to make as the roller blades, but that is to be expected. However, they turned out beautifully and we could not be happier. After all projects were done, we did have an issue with one of the first roller shades installed. We noticed that it had begun to become wrinkled on one end. It turns out that there was an issue with the shade itself...some kind of skewing. Debbie had her installers come out to see if they could fix it and when they couldn't, a replacement was ordered and installed as soon as it was ready. We have now sent Debbie's contact information to all of our friends looking for window coverings...especially those with custom needs. The entire experience could not have been more pleasant and the end result throughout our house is stunning!!! I would highly suggest Debbie with All About Blinds for all of your window covering needs!!! read more
