We were visiting Waterloo for IrishFest when my glasses fell apart and were completely unusable. I had been told by a business in my home town that they were fatally flawed and could not be correctly repaired about a year previously. We just happened by All About Eyes and I took my glasses in not expecting to get any help. Boy, was I surprised. Shea took one quick look at them and assured me they could be fixed. I showed her what I had previously been told was the fatal flaw and she just said "We can fix that." And she did fix them, right then and there. She completely fixed the fatal flaw! She saved our weekend! Shea and the other woman present, I'm sorry I didn't get her name, were so friendly and helpful. They are clearly there to help people and they take a great deal of pride in doing so. Need new glasses and to replace my recently retired optometrist. My wife read numerous reviews and we decided based upon all of the positive reviews for All About Eyes. Dr. Neumann was very kind and descriptive with his examinations for the two of us. The staff was completely patient in helping us decide on new frames and lenses. They were also completely knowledgeable in dealing with our insurance policy, as well as managing all of their office specials. After a couple weeks of not being able to adjust to new, progressive lenses, they also likely hooked their 90 day money back policy and I read able to switch back to single vision lenses and new frames for no charge. I drove by all about eyes and then stopped in and made an appointment. Their optometrist was absolutely amazing helping me find contacts in less than 5 minutes that worked perfectly for me that the other office was unsuccessful with for over 10 years. This business impresses me every time I visit. I first vis the store about 3 yrs ago and purchased a pair of glasses, which included a second pair for free. AMAZING, 2 pairs of glasses for less than one anywhere else. I had both lenses replaced later at no charge, within the warranty time! Yesterday I decided to have my lenses upgraded and replaced instead of new frames, I continue to get complemented on my current frames, I like them so why change. I ordered 2 pair of inexpensive glasses from All About Eyes a year ago and have had very good luck with them. If there was every a need to have the screws tightened or adjustments made on them they were very willing to help out. This is why my husband and I took our prescriptions from our regular eye dr. and ordered again. Several years ago, a change in our insurance plan forced us to switch optometrists. I was skeptical to go to a chain retail store, but have been very pleased with the two different optometrists that we've seen. The entire staff is pleasant and helpful without being overbearing. Very friendly. Quick service. No long waits for an appointment. My husband and I went in today for contacts as new customers. We only waited one day for an appointment. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and got in on time and done quickly. While waiting the staff was friendly and chatted with us. Received very good service, but was not able to get new regular glasses. I wanted to keep my own frames, and just get new lenses. My glasses would have to be sent in for this, instead of the new lenses being sent to All About Eyes and being inserted. I cannot be without my glasses.
