Do not go here. Last year, the doctor gave me a very strong glasses prescription. When I called to say the glasses were making me dizzy, I was told it was "normal" and that I just needed two weeks to adjust. The dizziness never went away, so I stopped wearing them. I later went to LensCrafters at Del Amo, where I was given the correct prescription. I've been wearing those glasses daily with no issues. The doctor there also said I have good vision and only needed a minimal prescription. This confirmed that the original prescription was incorrect. I don't recommend this place due to the inaccurate prescription and how my concerns were handled. read more

I've been seeing Dr Nasr since 2011, when she was at LensCrafters. I was so impressed with her patient care, that I followed her across the street, when she decided to start her own practice. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Needless to say, this review is long over due. Today I picked up two optical pairs. Flexon, which has memory metal and won't break, but will actually bend and snap right back into shape. I've had damaged to many glasses, wearing them while falling asleep on the couch, so I'm hopeful these will solve the problem. I also got a nice pair for going out to nice events. Akoni, a new brand that I haven't seen anywhere else. They're super comfortable, and I like the tortoise color. I'll be back in a couple of months to replace my Ray-Ban sunglasses. Probably with another set of Ray-Bans, but I also like the Akoni and Cazal sunglasses. Definitely recommend. read more

First time visit and last!! Don't get me wrong, the doctor did the job. However, customer service is not there at all. Too dry, no personality, the few times I went in for my lens fitting and express my concerns it seems it was a bother for her. Lastly, when I went back to get my glasses adjusted, the doctor did not even did not acknowledge me. I ended up going to LENSCRAFTER to get them adjusted NEVER AGAIN GOING BACK!! I've been a patient of this practice from when it was Dr. Rogoway's a few years back. I stayed on because I had been happy and the staff was the same. It is a completely different practice now and not for the better. The selection of eyewear has declined but the prices have increased. The staff although different is nice enough. However, the reason I won't be returning is because of how I saw Dr.Nasr treat an elderly couple. They had walked in, no insurance but husband needed glasses for his frames. One of her staff translated the inquiry of price etc.. to Dr. Nasr. It was obvious they were elderly, on a limited budget and money was tight. Dr. Nasr looked at them ( the only time she did) as they were distressed about the cost and just walked away. The employee looked embarrassed as I was as well. That was the extent of her help for the couple. How about a payment plan? Offer of a promotion, discount anything to show they mattered and their eye needs mattered. She was never an extremely personable person , just a "next patient" type but this was way too much. How sad that she was so indifferent and void of any compassion for the elderly couple. I'd say she was quite rude to not even acknowledge them. I in all good conscience I can't and won't support a business with such poor patient ethics, especially of those most in need. I feel bad for being your new customer. I had an issue to get my Groupon Voucher at my appointment time, but after I explained my situation to your workers and I was promised to be able to put a deposit on my credit card till I got the voucher sent back later. But one hour later, I was refused to provide a vision exam. This is not good business. If you promise something you should obey it and please don't treat your customers like a shit!!!! I came here last week to get an eye exam and some beautiful new Gucci frames! The eye exam was very thorough. Dr. Nasr showed me the internal pictures of my eyes, explained my prescription, and gave me great practical tips on eye care. The frame selection was also great - I had such a tough time choosing just one, but the staff was so nice and told me what looks best with my face shape. I'll probably come back to buy a few pairs of their no-brand frames, because they had some super hip ones that would be great to take on trips. I wish I would have visited this office earlier. I live only a few blocks away and I'm happy to know they were so close by and very helpful. Friendly staff! I came in for both regular eye wear and contact lens exam and from the beginning place was very clean and plenty of frames to chose from. Consultation went great! They are really great about following up thru text which is awesome! The took my insurance, and for me personally, contact lenses are an investment but I'm glad they were able to bill my insurance and I paid less than what I thought I was going to, especially for a 6 months supply of lenses. Came in as a new cash patient on 3/02/2022 was told by one of the Receptionist in the front that there was specials for cash patients that included a certain section of frames, high quality lens with all the works on it anti glare magnified lower half like bifocals etc and the exam for 199$ I chose designer frames so obviously there was going to be an additional charge for that but was told for designer frames there was also a discount for those if I was paying cash. When I sat down with the receptionist at the end of the exam she said it would be around 340$ when I gave her my card to charge it she left then returned shortly and said she needed to charge me an additional 89$ for the exam. I told her I didn't understand why if she had initially said that was included in the 199$ special. The Dr overheard and gave me a discount on the frames. I paid the amount in full and was told id receive my frames on the 16th but most likely a few days before that And notified via text. It was getting closer to the 16th I called and was told they still weren't in but would arrive no later than the 16th. I showed up this morning & the frames weren't in. The Dr. tried saying i was given the wrong delivery date that it should've been 3 weeks not 2. She called the lab to see where the frames would arrive they told her they had already been shipped days ago and should've arrived the staff looked around the office & couldn't find them. The Dr. informed me most likely they'd arrive later today. In the afternoon she called me personally & let me know they finally arrived so I went to pick them up. The Dr. apologized for the mix up, I tried them on they fit comfortably and I tried to see if the lower half was magnified due to me being a tattoo artist and it would help me with small details, she had told me you can magnify them from 1-4, 4 being strongest and that she had chosen 2 and I could return if it wasn't magnified enough. I put them on and couldn't see any difference at all. I took them to work had three different people try them on that have bifocals and said there was zero magnifying part of the lens like I had suspected. On my way home at night I noticed all the headlights and street lights were more glared and blinding with my glasses on!!! Im in shock & upset because I literally paid nearly 400$ cash in full for the frames & a lens that has nothing at all that I was told would be added to make it a top notch lens and end up seeing worse at night with them on!  They're open every other day so now I have to wait until Friday to return with the glasses to send them back to the lab and actually put all the things they had promised on the lens then still have to wait to see when they arrive! Worst experience ever! If Yelp would allow me to upload a pictures of the bright glares you see through each lens you'd see yourself I was given the cheapest lens with nothing on them. To begin, I never give reviews for any service(s) I receive from restaurants, doctors, mechanics or places I go to stay because there is always something that they fall short in. What those places advertise is always a misrepresentation of what you get. However, I have to make an exception with Dr Nasr and her staff. I've been to many medical facilities and by far Dr Nasr and her staff are in a class of their own. Starting from when you make an appointment, they send you a text confirming you are on their calendar. Once you are there, they actually see you at the time they made the appointment. No waiting for 30 minutes to an hour like other places. The entire staff is friendly, polite, efficient and above all very professional. Her office is clean and well kept. As for Dr Nasr... she is awesome! She is very pleasant to talk to and immediately puts you at ease. I've been her patient for approximately 3 years but the way she cares for me feels as though I've been her patient for decades. Every time I see her or take my kids for their eye exam is pleasant experience. I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone. read more

This office is very nice looking. The staff was very very nice, but the doctor was horrible. She was so rude. This about 1.5 years ago. I went for an eye exam so I could buy new contacts. As soon as I asked her to give me a prescription for my contacts she seemed to become bothered because I wasn't going to buy them from her. She right away said "all those places that people order contacts from are no good". I asked her if she could write the prescription for the Equate brand and she said "I don't know what you are talking about" with such a RUDE tone of voice. I explained to her that it was a Walmart brand and she said she doesn't know them therefore she couldn't, which I understood. She printed the prescription, placed it on the counter, walked away and said nothing. She seemed very upset. Her employees looked at me and seemed embarrassed. One of them apologized and I told them it wasn't their fault. She shouldn't make patient feel unwelcomed just because we don't buy eyewear from her. That's so unprofessional. She need to learn better manners and not throw tantrums when she doesn't get her way. read more
