Thus began an effort that lasted about 9 months. Separately, we each visited some vendors and found them polite, but we weren't getting anywhere, and frankly, most didn't have a great selection and didn't seem to understand what we wanted. And then, I visited All About Flooring and initially looked through a vast amount of samples, and took home many, their selection is very good, but still wasn't making progress until the owner, Becky Griffith, noticed my disappointment and decided to become involved. She took on the challenge. Becky was relentless in attempting to help us find the right carpet. She finally contacted some of her carpet reps and showed them a piece of our old carpet. And, Bingo... they came up with a sample that was acceptable in geometry, but the color was not. Not an obstacle for Becky. She arranged for another sample with colors more to our liking. And, finally...success! The carpet was ordered and installation was scheduled. Installation was somewhat difficult and problematic and a few things had to be reinstalled. Not an issue for Becky. She even came to our house with the man who did her measuring to discuss a solution and to make us comfortable and as she said, "I want you to be happy". Her crew, Matt and Levi returned several times to "to make things right" without complaint. All About Flooring went the extra mile...actually, it was more like 1,000 miles to satisfy us, and I can sincerely say, I think you should not hesitate to use them for your flooring. I often leave 5 star reviews when someone does a great job, and rarely, if ever, leave a negative review. However, I'm still trying to clean excess grout sealer off the tile on our bathroom walls a year after they resealed our grout in March of 2023. The color does look better, but many of the grout lines bleed over onto the tile, resulting in a very sloppy-looking job. The worst part was, I had told Connie that I'd had the bathtub reglazed and needed to have the guy come back to fix a couple of small spots he missed. She told me to have him do that first because she didn't want him messing up her grout work, so I did. When Connie and her granddaughter came to seal the grout, her granddaughter so badly scarred and scratched the tub in multiple places, I've just had to pay $750 to have it completely redone. For the $650 I paid to Connie I feel our tile should have looked fabulous and the tub reglaze should have remained intact. She and her granddaughter only spent half a day on the job as they seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere. Our bathroom is small, but apparently it should have taken quite a bit longer than that.

The owner cannot compartmentalize professional and personal interactions. I couldn't respond to his…read moremessages for a few hours and found myself receiving a string of condescending messages and then ultimately being blocked while never even having a chance to reply. My number has been blocked ever since - totally unprofessional conduct! I never hired them, but my review below is regarding my honest experience dealing with the owner of this business Carlos so that others can be forewarned. He even sent me a message on Google yesterday morning instructing me to "call him now" after seeing my review instead of ever offering an apology for less than professional conduct. Now to my review- I sent the him a message a few weeks back simply asking if I was still on the schedule. An hour later, I got 2 calls and messages from him asking who I was, immediately followed by "good luck with your project." So 10 mins is all customers get to respond before they are sent a rude response to find another professional? I wasn't able to see this correspondence until later and assumed they were clearly not interested in my business, so I never responded. Later in the day, I had another set of messages from him concluding "bless your little heart" "have a great life." Who says things like this in a professional interaction? When I went to finally respond and call back, I realized that my number had been blocked. Really? Also, they advertise in their brochure that they match competitors pricing. He even confirmed - "yes we do as long as they are in the same business and not handymen." But when I sent him a fitting quote which was about $200 less than this company's price, he said, "that's too low for us, go ahead with those gents." So price match only applies when it's convenient for them. Secondly, I asked him about warranty, and got no response. And after 2 weeks of waiting, not only was I not on the schedule anymore as discussed, I was not even able to be located in their system with my phone number. A few days back, my phone number was still blocked and I actually tried calling him from my husband's phone and of course it went through. The owner Carlos had no recollection of the aforementioned text messages or why my phone number is blocked. He also had no recollection of anything whatsoever with regards to my project - "they see so many people in a day" he said. He then said "let me power cycle my phone and see what happens." As if that's going to unblock my number? An hour later, I still couldn't text or call him from my phone. Outrageous! I have dealt with much bigger companies in the past and even they don't make customers feel so insignificant. It seems to me that they have more than enough volume to care about people or make an effort to earn anymore business. I am happy to take my business elsewhere!
