The worst. They were told to leave hair long and they saved her almost to skin with multiple cuts. Very dangerous groomers.

Debbie and crew are very nice, they are extremely talented and totally "get it" when it comes to grooming a poodle properly.

Wally has anxiety around grooming and other dogs, so finding the right groomer was not easy. Lucy took the time to understand what makes him comfortable and has always adjusted her approach to meet his needs. She has been incredibly patient with him, and over time she has earned my complete trust. What stands out most is that Lucy does not treat every dog the same. She gets to know their personality, temperament, and comfort level and works with them accordingly. She is also always learning and looking for new ways to make the experience better, especially for dogs like Wally who need a little extra care. The small things also say a lot. When one of Wally's grooming appointments fell on his birthday, Lucy made it special for him with extra treats. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect example of the genuine affection she has for the dogs she cares for. Lucy and her team are always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. More importantly, it is clear that they truly care about the dogs entrusted to them. I would recommend Happy Paws without hesitation, especially to anyone with an anxious dog or one who needs a more patient and individualized approach.

My mom brought our dogs in for a grooming appointment, but after keeping them there for about three hours, they were never groomed. She was told they wouldn't be cut because of matting, despite believing it was only light matting. If a groomer feels they can't safely perform a service, that's their decision, but the way the situation was handled is what was so disappointing. According to my mom, the pricing kept changing throughout the conversation, which understandably left her confused. When she tried to ask questions and understand why the price had changed and why the grooming wasn't being done, she felt she was met with hostility instead of professionalism. She told me the owner even called the police during the disagreement. What concerns me the most is what happened when my mom went to pick up our dogs. The owner let the dogs out and opened the front door before handing my mom their leashes, creating a situation where they could have run into the street. Thankfully they didn't, but that could have ended very differently. As pet owners, we expect our dogs to be handled safely at all times. One of my dogs also has severe anxiety, so knowing she spent three hours in a kennel only to leave without receiving any grooming makes the entire experience even more upsetting. I understand that every business has policies and that groomers may refuse service when necessary. However, clear communication, consistent pricing, respectful customer service, and, above all, the safety of customers' pets should never be compromised. Based on my family's experience, we will not be returning. If she was willing to let my dogs run on the street who knows what she does do the dogs behind closed doors when no one is watching this proved it's about the money she earns and not about no about caring for the dogs and giving them the right treatment.
