I have been bringing my Maltese to Eui for about 7 years and will continue to. Her and her husband have been lovely people and give my girl adorable haircuts. If your dog is matted she will give them a short cut instead of hurting them by attempting to brush the mattes out, which I think is perfectly reasonable. read more

This is a new business, but the owner, Uei, worked at a groomers in Westport for the past 9 years. She was super sweet and more importantly my dog liked her. She did a perfect job, the cost was a little lower than our last groomer and she took my dog (Labradoodle named Wally) on very short notice. Same day in fact. The only place I'll take my dogs. She's the best. I have one 4 lbs toy poodle Chihuahua mix who is very difficult to groom. She gets so scared she foams at the mouth but with Eui she so much better. Read carefully before looking at photo! The cut in the photo was NOT done at Woof! Belle T.'s review convinced me to book an appointment at Woof. My nine month old goldendoodle's coat was nearing 5" in length and his undercarriage and legs were getting pretty clumpy, so when I read Belle T.'s description of how Eui chose to detangle rather than shave her collie's matted hair, I picked up the phone to place the call. I had no trouble scheduling a grooming session. Eui was very pleasant on the phone. We arrived on time and were greeted warmly. My hopes were dashed when I took note of the doodle Eui was working on. He was buzzed pretty short. I explained that I wanted my doodle to keep most of his coat and Eui said she needed to check him. She put him on a grooming table and tried to pull a comb through his admittedly very thick hair. It stuck in several places. I explained that I did not want my dog looking anything like the buzzed doodle, and she said, "His hair isn't that short!" I said, "If he's going to look like that, I'll take him home and do it myself!" She said that might be best so I did. I appreciate Eui for her honesty. I am grateful to the buzzed doodle for modeling what lay ahead if I let Eui groom my dog. I ended up cutting it myself and he looks great! The salon looks very professional, and I'm sure if you want a short dog haircut, Eui is an excellent groomer. She has an outstanding reputation. Just don't fall for Belle T.'s claims about detangling matted hair. read more

I took my one year old golden doodle (half retriever, half poodle) to woof spa. She has wavy hair, not curly. Her coat was overgrown, about 7 inches long and she was matted in spots around her neck and front legs. The owner was great at speaking with me and letting me know my options for my dogs grooming. I was specific that I did not want her shaved, but cut half the length so she still had a winter coat and I wanted her head cut more like a retriever than a poodle. She did just that! (Caveat, my puppy's head was cut a bit poodleish, but it settled down in 3 days to have a appearance more to my liking. And next time I will bring in a picture of what I don't like and what a do like for a cut). Most important to me was that she removed the mats without shaving and left her a winter coat. The place was clean and owner and staff polite and welcoming. My puppy will return here for her next cut! Woof spa only takes cash and check. I was very pleased with the experience. read more

Love this place! I take my lab mix there every couple months just to get her nails clipped. Price is very reasonable so I always add a nice tip. My dog became somewhat afraid of coming here after a while, dogs don't always like getting their nails trimmed, but Eu is so sweet that after a while my dog stopped resisting. And now it's all easy and good. I don't even have to make an appointment for a nail trim, I can just stop by when they're open and they always take us right in. And Eu is very patient, but gets the while job done quickly. I'm so glad I found this place! They are just excellent! read more

Horrible place! Eui did not want to even bother with my goldendoodle. I felt so unwelcome in that place. She told me that just by looking at my dog she can tell he was matted and that i should take him home and detangle him myself. She was very rude and didn't bother to run a comb thru him. I have a rough collie whose coat escaped my control a few months ago. He had mats on his hindquarters and around his neck. I called Woof Spa and the proprietor, Uie, promised me a a good job for a fair price. When I got the dog back, I saw she had taken a lot of trouble to keep him beautiful despite the fact I'd told her it would be okay to shave where necessary. He is a gorgeous animal and she said it would be a shame to shave him ... Her workmanship was superb! He came away smelling and looking every bit the noble beast he is, and for a very reasonable price. I am full of appreciation for Uie as she has given sündar a "fresh" beginning. My children can't stop petting him, he is so soft and sweet-smelling. He is happy, we are happier! I cannot more heartily recommend woof spa.
