Tom Oliva was my therapist, and he is truly amazing! The front staff, Shivani and Shantee are professionals at juggling schedules in a caring and kind manner. They will work to get you in while they make you feel like a very special person. Tommy is the most gifted therapist, creating a program that got my shoulder's pain level down, and increased its mobility and strength. He LISTENED after asking how the shoulder was feeling, then created a program that used different exercises, each time keeping the therapy exciting and progressing. There was NEVER a "set routine" that I was told to perform. He uses manual manipulation and massage of the joint at EACH session and as needed to reduce pain throughout the session. He has such a positive attitude, making the sessions fun and innovative. My surgeon, Dr. George White found the results outstanding for range of motion as well as strength and well beyond the expectations he had for the surgery. Dr. Nowicki surgery on both my shoulder injuries. Need to schedule knee replacement with Dr. Miller but its me.......I dread having any surgery!! Bills were over $739 per visit which is ridiculous 40minutes of therapy & outrageous. This is why insurance companies don't want to pay. This is price gauging. I would have never went if they informed me they would not accept my insurance in full minus deductible & the price. I have documents showing what they accepted but they still want to rape me! She is excellent at the diagnostic and very good at explaining. She is also very nice. Everyone there is very kind and professional. She could feel the problem my daughter was experiencing during the exam. The treatment she laid out was exactly what a doctor at nemours later (booked out) suggested after x-rays and still wanting an MRI with contrast. Go here before pain management. She didn't need pills and shots and was able to keep swimming on a competitive team.

My first visit was conducted by a student who was not supervised. My second visit was with a PT assistant. At no point did I meet or receive care from the licensed PT responsible for my treatment. More concerning, I disclosed my medical condition and no one involved in my care was familiar with it, nor did they make any apparent effort to consult with the supervising therapist or seek clarification. Additionally, I have received multiple unexpected charges despite only attending two visits, which raises further concerns about billing transparency. This experience reflects a lack of oversight, communication, and professional accountability that is unacceptable in a clinical setting

So, much of my time was spent idle. I stated this in a survey sent to me. The following session, I was confronted about the survey, which I would have thought confidential and anonymous. This was very unprofessional and made future experiences awkward. There are a couple people who concentrated on my progress. They were mentioned in the aforementioned survey. There was also a financial dispute, which I won't discuss here, that ended in me cancelling the remainder of my sessions.

I could not be more pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of everyone from the Initial greeter to the administrator to the X-ray technician to the staff associate. Dr. Shekailo and his assistant were extremely knowledgeable as well as thoughtful. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered my questions in great detail. I am so happy to have discovered Florida Sports Injury and will be a regular patient. The waiting time was not too long either. My only comment was Waze directed me to the rear employee parking lot but the friendly lady who answered my call to the practice was happy to give me "human directions" to the office. I was assured that another therapist would be assigned and that I'd receive a call within a few days to reschedule. After not hearing back, I called Dreamplex and was told no occupational therapists were available but that they would contact me once one was. It has now been two months, and I have yet to receive any update. This lack of communication is unprofessional and disappointing.

When you've got kids and you need an x-ray done, this is where I suggest. They take my insurance, and the doctors and staff are so respectful and kind to everyone - including the kids. When you've got a kid in pain, it helps to have someone willing to talk to them and let them know what happens next. This trip was for an accident. My youngest had fallen the night before and hurt his ankle. The next day I took him in for x-rays. Shockingly enough he ended up having a fracture and needed a cast put on. Now he's 6, and has to know EVERYTHING that is happening and why. Every person we saw was kind and patient, explained everything to him, and made him feel calm. Side note - the cast work was great! So if you ever find yourself in a bind and need to be seen quickly, check this place out!

Before you enter their office you are greeted with an assistant who takes your temp and you sign a covid 19 doc answering various questions. Once that done you go to the kiosk I and sign yourself in and take a seat. I was maybe sitting for 10 min and was called in. Everyone was super nice from the, front desk, xray tech, to the doctor. The second time I went back was just as great. So happy to have them in the neighborhood.
