They offer both tailoring and embroidering services, while I didn't get anything embroidered, the staff seemed very friendly when working with other customers. This place has a fitting room to try on your garments and they will come pin the garment as needed. A nice touch was that this place had extra shoes, bow ties, and etc. in case you forgot to bring one. While this place did charge me a pretty penny, I trust that they'll get the job done right. read more

Brought my dress in to be hemmed for a wedding. She charged me double because I needed it sooner than she could do- which is fine. When I went to pick up my dress not only could they not find it but it wasn't ready. I left and came back to pick it up and some alterations weren't done. This is definitely my go-to place for all my tailoring needs! And I never hesitate to reccomend it to friends. So what makes this place so great? TONS! First off, the turn around is SUPER fast. It may cost a couple more dollars than usual if you need a rush service (such as same day) but every time it's done and done right! Secondly, the lady that works/runs/(owns) the shop is really friendly! Also really talented! I'm in the military so I use the services offered for all the patches I need sewn on my uniforms. It's always done to perfection and my clothes dont come back wrinkly. It's another plus. I've had pants taken in, wool items patched, even a large, thick peacoat patched with my rank and rating insignia. If you need something altered/tailored, this is the place. And you won't be able to beat the extremely competitive and reasonable prices. The only "downside" is the inside. It's a bit cluttered but then again I dont fo there to hang out! Fast, quality work. I suffer from big traps and t-rex arms, so buying a suit means a trip to the tailor. The folks there are skilled, too. The sleeves and hems were spot on and that big roll that always shows up across the top of my shoulder blades was nearly invisible. This place got me out of a real jam and I am so thankful and impressed! I was invited to attend a Barrister Ball for Charleston School of Law and was told it was a cocktail party. 36 hours before the event, I found out it was not cocktail attire...it was a formal ball. I truly thought I was not going to be able to find something that worked, but Prima Prom fit me in something appropriate and made a call to ALL Sewing and Alterations to see if it was possible to take a last minute client. I was shocked when I heard that they could do it. It was a sequin ball gown in less than 24 hours! They hemmed about 8 inches from the bottom and adjusted the waist so that it didn't gap at the sides. I had low expectations to be honest, but when I tried it on that evening I noticed the hem was even better than the manufacturer's and the waist fit like a glove. I used to bring all my alterations to a place in Mt Pleasant but I absolutely will be coming here instead because they are more affordable, faster and do a better job. I received compliments all night at the barrister ball and when people said "wow it looks like your dress was made for you" I replied "it wasn't. Now it may have been my mistake to get my alterations done a week before prom with a complicated dress, but this woman essentially ruined it for me. We paid $150 in total for the alterations done. The top of my dress is heavily beaded and therefore weighs a lot, so the new clip she attached to make it tighter for me would not hold. It did temporarily when I tried it on, but throughout the night I found myself having to use the old ones that were too big for me. The hemming she did on the dress was fine, but I cannot wear my dress at all without it falling down and all and all I paid way too much for something that only created more problems. read more
