I was told that they were going to do an alteration on a body suit which the strap snapped off and they told me they were "going to fix it no problem". I also dropped off a silk shirt that had a bunch of wrinkles that I needed smoothed out bc it wasn't dried properly. They didn't fix the romper and the silk top still has tons of wrinkles and dents. Instead,& I was charged for a cleaning which I never asked for. They are now refusing to fix the romper as they originally said they would and fix the silk top. I asked for a partial refund which they also refused. This place is a scam and a total abuse of power and policy.

The woman at the front desk grabbed one pair and disappeared in the back. She came back and said alterations were not possible. I asked to speak to the alterations person to find out why. She went to the back again and was gone several minutes. She reappeared and said alterations were impossible. I pointed out that she only looked at one pair of pants and repeated that I just wanted an explanation. She snapped back at me and said "It's impossible!". I took the pants to another alterations estabishment where the kind woman said it was a very easy fix and would do it for $25. I don't know if Kings Valet is under new ownership. I didn't recognize the woman that waited on me. But they won't be getting my business anymore.

The detail, care, and skill she put into the alterations were nothing short of remarkable, and the dress fit like it was made just for her. When I had the chance to sit and talk with her, I learned her life story and was reminded what a hardworking and honorable woman she is. It saddens me to see some of the poor reviews, because my experience was the exact opposite. I can only assume some people expect to be coddled or approach her with a sense of entitlement.
