Nick from Anvil actually explained the issue and how he had handled the most recent problem he had encountered with a sprinkler that needed repair due to installation issues. He made all the difference and I would have accepted their offer even if it had not been as well priced. As it happened, their bid was very competitive and I have been pleased through the entire process. We agreed on a date for work to begin and they were here punctually, and installation of my new vinyl fence was completed on time. The workers were careful but thorough and I couldn't be happier with the results. And there were no sprinkler mishaps, either! From the first time he came out until completion I would get regular updates via text (sometimes phone). Second, he is very honest. Dena came out and took measurements and discussed options then emailed a timely and detailed price quote. We weren't home when the custom gate was installed and later asked if a few adjustments could be made. They were happy to work with us and quickly made the changes.
