UPDATE-Went back today and wanted to speak with another manager if possible. If I got the same response I would leave the magazine there and contest the charge on my credit card. The new manager listened to my story, went and got another magazine and happily exchanged it, bad packaging and all. To be clear, I did not threaten with contesting the charge. This manager understood what good customer service is about. Changed my rating, if only all managers were like the last one!

I concur with Bill Gardner's very thorough Google review from 3 weeks ago (which I highly suggest reading). I would add how it's a huge bonus to get a very detailed, printed course manual. It's incredibly helpful for processing everything after drinking from the information firehose! One suggestion would be to tighten up the automated customer communications after purchase. I could have used more and, due to a system mixup, I received an older document that led me to expect a later finish time and more shooting. However, a real human answered my phone calls and emails(thanks Josh), which says a lot about their commitment to customer service.(Have to add it was probably the right amount of class time in the end considering the heat and the average age of the attendees..maybe an advanced course idea) Huge thanks to our main instructor, Carter, and his assistants, Craig and Ammon. They are well-credentialed, patient, and provided excellent instruction and extra help when needed throughout the course!

So back before Christmas HK was having a sale which I saw on facebook, I went to their site and…read moreordered a couple small things. One of which was a stocking hat and patch. I paid, and waited, my order arrived, the stocking hat was correct but my patch had not been shipped, but I received a sticker instead. So I called their customer service line on December 3rd and spoke to Tommy and he said they would ship out my missing item. I just basically waited, waited thinking the mail was just slow. Nothing came. So, I called them back on Jan 10th and spoke to Jason. Jason was rude, unhelpful, would not let me finish what I was saying, basically doing everything a customer service person should not do. I essentially told me in so many words, that he "was" going to email someone by my issue, but I got the feeling this wasn't going to be. Here it is now Feb 4th, nothing has arrived and Hk has ripped me off on just a patch. I think now, I was going to buy the new SP5 this spring, but, I think not. If their customer service is lacking on a small cheap item, I don't think it would be any better on a relative expensive weapon. HkUSA online sales, don't waste your time.

Had my USP Compact in for some warranty repair due to a false trigger reset condition. On…read moreFriday,within 24 hours of a Thursday arrival at the repair facility, H&K armor, Lyman, contacted me by phone to discuss first hand the issue and to assure me it was both an easy repair and a fast turn around. Lyman also offered to upgrade my 2004 factory sights to ensure I had the best weapon configuration possible for personal defense. On Monday I spoke with customer service rep Tommy, who also provided great service, and was informed that I would be receiving my firearm the very next day on Tuesday and signature was required. Today, Tuesday, I have my H&K firearm back in hand repaired and functioning as designed with upgrades as if brand new. Also included was a very sweet personal note from Lyman wishing me well and satisfaction with the repair and which included a 10 round capacity magazine, adding two (2) more 45 cal rounds to my std, 8 round capacity mags which came with my weapon new. Coast to coast shipping and repair all within one week, I have never received or heard of better customer service in my life. Thanks H&K and especially Lyman. Heckler & Koch, your the best.
