From the first moment we called All American Movers, I was greeted by a friendly, courteous gentleman. Shawn, the owner of All American Movers, whom answered right away, instantly provided a demeanor that was one of superb customer service. Shawn answered all of my questions with great detail and provided examples and suggestions. I felt reassured immediately and felt confidant that we were dealing with a professional, well- organized, legit company. We were traveling by vehicle to our destination and along the entire route, Shawn answered all of my texts promptly and provided status of his progress, maintaining excellent communication along the way. On the day of drop off, Shawn informed me that he would be running behind by half an hour. And then, on the dot, he arrived as he had indicated. Shawn has chosen wonderful contractors to help him in moving one's belongings. Not only at pick up but also at the drop off, Shawn had two groups of 3 contractors whom were all respectful, courteous, careful, and beyond efficient to assist him in coordinating the items on and off of the truck. Shawn was vigilant in supervising the movers and fully assisted along the process. We inspected all items and everything was wrapped so carefully and diligently than no damage was done. Nonetheless, in the contract provided, there is an excellent insurance policy. We feel blessed to have had the services of All American Movers to aid us in our move. I was very reluctant to choose a mover as the movers I had used a couple of years back delayed bringing my items for a long time. I saw some good reviews on All American Movers and tried contacting Shawn. He spoke very confidently of bringing my household stuff from Colorado to Indiana within 2 days and was very friendly in his conversation too. These were the main reasons I decided to choose him. Initially I told him the rough estimate of my items and he gave me a quote. Then on the day of the move, due to some reasons, I had to take along a couch set and a dresser that I did not plan before. Shawn was all ready for any surprises and he did start our move with a smile in spite of my last minute change. He loaded the items quickly and everything for the loading part was done easily. On the day when he committed to deliver the items, he was exactly ON TIME. I was amazed seeing his smile still on his face as he started un-loading all the items at my new place. I've moved more times than I care to count, and have always used another moving company here in Denver. Until this move, when I contracted with All American Movers and should I ever move again, Shawn and his amazing crew have earned my loyalty. I had a split move - into an new home and into storage - and AAM was flexible and helpful. What was supposed to be a one-day move, turned into a two day job. They worked hard, at a non-stop pace and despite a long 12-hour day, Shawn, Justin, Stephen and Frank were always polite, considerate and upbeat. They took great care of my property, were fabulous at problem solving - they did get my big couch into my new apartment which at first seemed like a lost cause! Justin wouldn't take no for an answer, and he did the impossible when the couch finally made it through the door! Because they knew I had a broken rib and per doctor's orders could not lift anything, all four men were quick to jump in before I had a chance to move something myself. The move to my storage unit two days later was fast, efficient and easy. And two weeks later, when I needed to rearrange my storage unit to have access to certain items, they were once again at the ready to help. AAM goes above and beyond. Moving is a hard thing to do. No one likes it - but AAM made a tough move not only easy and less stressful for me, but enjoyable too. I have never hired movers before. Shawn was so patient and helpful when I called. He walked me through every part of what they do and what they charge. Thank you Shawn for helping me. I am so grateful. He was up front, straightforward and honest. There were no surprises when it came time to pay the bill ( except the charge for using a credit card, but honestly not a "surprise" that was a deal breaker). I had 3 movers ( I tried really hard to remember their names....and promptly forgot...) and they were great! They were patient with me frantically trying to last minute pack boxes and they never once complained or seemed put out by the boxes that kept materializing after they would take more down to the truck. They were efficient, speedy, but not so speedy that they were careless or haphazard with anything. They never took a break, and worked their tails off. They asked where I wanted every thing, even when it was labeled, just to make sure. They performed amazing feats of strength unloading more than half the truck into a loft storage in the garage. They were even happy to offer advice when I asked about where to put furniture before they brought it in. They went above and beyond in helping assemble a bed frame that was like Ikea furniture, but worse. These guys are the real deal. I had other movers hired and ready to go and even though I gave them a very, very detailed list of what I needed to be moved and from where to where, the day before my move, they added another $200 on top of what they quoted me (look for that review too!!). They showed up 15 minutes early, they were to pack then move everything.. I spoke to them for 3 minutes and they went into action. I had a quote a few weeks before and had dollar expectations as well. They got to my new residence.. and re-hung all the clothes from my closets... as I was unpacking the kitchen while they brought more in the place they were grabbing the boxes and packing paper on the way out and tossing them back in the truck so I did not have to deal with it.. In the end.. They started at about 9:30am and were done by 3pm, including packing my stuff. When presented with the final bill it was $100.00 LESS than the LOWEST quote from other companies.. All American Movers did a GREAT job with my move across country. Shawn was attentive to detail, his movers were fast and efficient and as I was watching them load, I could tell they were paying attention to what was in the box and handling things marked FRAGILE very carefully. Shawn left my house and he and Steve headed straight for Indiana. They drove straight through and arrived the next day. The unloading process was even more efficient. They arranged boxes in my garage that could not be opened yet. They placed furniture, they set up beds, they even placed rugs under existing furniture. I could not have been happier and since I had to leave the 'move-in' to relatives, the fact that they were so organized, neat and efficient made it easy on my family. We've used Shawn's team twice now--once to unload a 26 ft. UHaul truck I'd driven from the Western Slope to Denver, and again yesterday with their acquisition of a 17 ft. truck and handling a move within town. We had just sold our condo in Denver and were moving near Ft Worth, TX. The time frame was 2 weeks!! After my 1st call to Shawn I was immediately at ease since we weren't near Denver at the time. Shawn and his crew moved us from one house to another in Castle Rock. Shawn always returned my phone calls quickly. They showed up when they said they would, worked quickly, but carefully, not damaging any walls or trim. We had things we wanted put in one place for trash, another place for our daughter's stuff who was moving four weeks later and our own stuff to go in the truck. They never complained about anything and completed the work as agreed. We also used them to move our daughter into a third floor condo a month later. All American Movers moved my daughter from a small eastern town to Denver on 8-15-2015. I have to say that they are the BEST! Shawn, David and Justin were right on time, friendly, professional, careful, honest and hard working. They moved her 2 bedroom house from one town 100 miles away to Denver in 5 hours which was truly amazing. I have two other moves in the near future and you know I will be using All American Movers. Shawn and team were great! They literally saved me from a ton of headache. I had non-paying tenants that needed to be evicted. The tenants destroyed my home and left tons of garbage and furniture behind. Nonetheless, Shawn and the guys showed up on time and were extremely professional. They removed all the trash and furniture from my home, properly disposing what they could at the dump and then continually helping me over the next few days with additional disposal and moving.These guys are great and can literally do any type of move.
