This organization has no larger trucks. Over the phone, they ask you what you have and no matter what you say, they send the same small trucks. This is my first time using a moving company and do not think I would utilize this company again. First off, they didn't tell me the full pricing structure of the initial call. Secondly, the movers damaged my neighbors property as well as damages in the walls of my home. Thirdly, they called me and asked me if I wanted a third person to assist as having a third person would help and be cheaper. The third person (no offense to anyone) didn't speak English so I couldn't communicate with her where I wanted to put stuff and was not capable of moving heavy items. What an absolute rip off. It took them six hours to load our ranch style home with a basement. We had everything boxed, stacked and organized. All of the furniture was ready to go. My first warning sign should have been the $500 charge for bubble and shrink wrap. Per policy, they wrapped everything including our couch which was absolutely unnecessary. Absolutely HORRIBLE. Let me tell you, I called a couple weeks ago and booked my move with a nice gentleman over the phone. During the call I asked if it would be possible to do a morning move and he said he would see about accommodating it. Yesterday, I got the phone call confirming my move but they had both addresses (the to and from) incorrect, and then I was told my move was scheduled at 1pm. I asked the man if that was the absolute earliest and he said 10am. I said amazing, let's do the 10am. As we were ending the phone call he said, "great, we'll see you sometime on Saturday" and hung up. Today I called and asked to confirm my move was scheduled for 10am tomorrow and he said no, they're looking at 5, 6, or 7pm for a move time for me. Not only was this time not acceptable, but he was rude over the phone about it. I cancelled my move with them and have rescheduled with Cowboy Moving Denver and they are able to do my move between 8:30am and 9:00am. They added an hour and no it's not the hour for travel they already had that (which is kinda BS if you ask me). Based on my 2 min interaction w/this company on their website, it's kind of a nightmare. I filled out their quote form hoping to get an idea, and reluctantly provided my phone number as a required step. Heads up that they won't show you the quote in writing right then, they robo-call you to have you walk through a phone system. I decided at that second I wouldn't be using them. I figured I'd get maybe a call or a text as a result of them having my number. Nope...I was bombarded with numerous texts and calls one after the other immediately. It felt near constant. I booked this moving company with a hundred dollar deposit months ago. Specifically asked for morning. Didn't hear anything until a few days before the move. They bumped me to a 12 to 3 window, not happy, but ok. Didn't get a call until 340pm saying they'd meet me at 4. Then...THEN the paperwork I had to sign was for a minimum of 600 dollars! We were moving a small storage unit (which took 15 minutes to load), and driving 10 minutes away. We've now used this company three times, and for the second time, critical parts of our furniture have gone missing. Last year, it was the legs to our couch. This time, it's the feet to our desk--which still haven't been found. While we did receive reimbursement for the couch legs, it's extremely frustrating that this continues to happen. The desk is completely unusable without the feet, and if they aren't located soon, we expect appropriate compensation. We were also shocked by how expensive this move ended up being. Despite the short distance (about 90 minutes) and the fact that we moved a significant amount of furniture ourselves--including a king-size bed--this move cost nearly as much as our long-distance relocation from Steamboat to Berthoud. Sending five movers seemed excessive, especially considering how much we had already handled. While we've appreciated working with this team in the past, the repeated issues and unexpected costs have made us seriously question whether we'll continue using their services going forward. Absolutely terrible and stressful end result. I hired this company to move my brother's things across town while I was away. My brother has stage 4 COPD and is wheelchair-bound. The company quoted me a certain number of items they would move for a high price. They not only moved those things and left them (my brother ended up losing them), but they were hostile with him, they overcharged my card, and charged me sooner then they said they would. Thomas was the person I dealt in the office. He was the manager, I believe. Sneaky man and very dishonest. I've used this service in the past when we moved into our current place over 3 years ago. Looking through recent reviews proves to me that their service has not improved in that time. To confirm what others have reported, the quoting process was quick and easy, and they are very responsive at lining up their services, but they egregiously under-quoted our move (initial quote was 1/2 of the actual charge). They charge you for travel to and from their facility, they charge you for their fuel, and packaging materials (which they keep the remainder of after they are done and will charge you for extra materials if they run out while on-site), and the clock starts as soon as they arrive. When they finally got on-site, one of their guys was sick and another injured himself on the job. They finally got another person on-site to help after multiple hours, of which I had to pay for their time spent coordinating the replacement. We moved during COVID, and despite their policy promising that they were adhering to all CDC guidelines, none of their staff wore masks (I get that it has got to be a misery wearing a mask while moving furniture, but that's the job I'm paying for). We moved literally 1 building away within the same block, and had them move just furniture (which there wasn't a lot of) and pre-packaged boxes for a 1-bedroom apartment and a studio apartment. No stairs, and they had dedicated elevators at both sites. This took them 10 hours (1.5 of which they charged overtime for). Towards the end of the move, I had to go looking for them since they had been gone for a while and found them standing around by their truck, where they said they were done with the move (though some of my smaller loose personal items were still on the truck). Quoted price was $239/hr with a 2 hr minimum but they were confident that they could get it done within that time, maybe an hour extra at most. Final price ended up being just under $3,000 (not including tip). After signing the paperwork at the end, they had me pull up their business on Google to give them a review on-the-spot, then pressured me into tipping their team. I felt very uncomfortable and fairly intimidated into leaving a positive review at the time (look at their reviews on Google and you'll see similar reports). Directly after the move, I found that all the carpets in the new place were filthy and I had to have them professionally cleaned. Weeks after the move, we found that there were multiple broken items in different boxes, some of which were hand-crafted and irreplaceable. Worst moving experience I've ever had. If you value your time, your money, and your mental health, go elsewhere. I used to help people move as part of a real estate company and our jobs never took half the time this one did, even with moving multi-story 4 bedroom houses. read more

I just finished helping my friend unload her belongings, after she paid All My Sons $4000 to help her pack and move. They broke her husband's (who is a veteran btw) urn, opened packages that were gift wrapped for her son for Christmas and, the ashes that were in the broken urn they "tried " to put back but mistakenly put what was left of his ashes in her matching urn! The boxes were thrown together at best and multiple things were missing, broken, or unusable. They even "lost" her piano! How do you even do that? This is beyond not ok, this is immoral, unethical, and criminal! You have not heard the last of this and ANYONE even considering using this joke of a business, run don't walk away! read more

Be warned. When I called All My Sons for a quote on Sunday afternoon (yesterday), I was told that I would be charged $169/hour for moving two TV consoles with two men. The first man with whom I talked told me that charges would begin at the first stop and end when the furniture was delivered. I was told this again when the local mover's agent called me thirty minutes later. There were two pickup places. Travel time between the first and second stop is around 30 minutes. One console was at each stop. Travel time to our condo from the second pickup stop is also around 30 minutes. I drove between these places on Saturday so I knew the travel times. I calculated that it would take them fifteen minutes to put padding around each of the consoles and move them into their truck. That is a total of a little over one hour of travel time and 1/2 hour to pad the two items. In my mind, I added another thirty minutes which totaled 2 1/2 hours of labor which meant the total charges would be around $422. This was higher than seemed reasonable to move two TV consoles locally but I wanted to get them moved today (Monday) so I accepted this cost per hour. I ended up being initially charged over twice this amount! Why? Before the move, I was told that three men were needed not two. The third man was absolutely not needed. Two men easily moved each console. I was quoted $189/hour on the phone for the three men. Then they tried to charge me $209/hour this morning. They then added $102 for packing materials, which amounted to a small amount of plastic wrap and tape. Upon complaining, they lowered the per hour rate to $189/hour and gave me a $50 discount on packing materials. $52 was way over ten times the actual cost. They then added one hour for the time taken for the men to travel to the first residence and to return from my condo. I learned this early this morning in emails that were sent to me. This was not mentioned by either man with whom I talked yesterday afternoon. In fact, I repeated to each man on the phone that my understanding was that I would be charged from the time they arrived at the first stop until they finished delivering the two consoles at my condo. My final charges were $713.50 to move two consoles locally. Needless to say, I am not pleased with the lack of transparency regarding pricing. I would unquestionably have called other local movers for quotes had All My Sons revealed to me all their charges up front. read more

I really should've looked at Yelp reviews opposed to Google. Prepare to be hustled with this team. They quote low and charge double. Fees are not clear in the way that they charge. Their customer service team is also very good at gaslighting. For a small one bedroom it cost over 750 even though they said they took off fees for items that were not used. I moved a small living room worth of larger items 15 minutes up the road. The movers were so slow I started taking stuff away to just move in my own car. Absolutely traumatizing experience. Not only was this company very unprofessional they either broke, scratched or dented EVERY single item of furniture. I was quoted a cost for the move to be 400-500$ for a move 1 mile down the road and they tried to charge me 1.3k and held my items in the truck until I paid. One of the crew members had me sign 30 mins of paperwork on arrival without explaining any of it to me and running up the time for the hourly price, then asked me for a phone charger, took a 30 minute bathroom break and lifted way less than ME, the customer! I had to call friends to help unload because I didn't want anything broken further. When I called to complain about the absolute scam this service was they knocked one hour off and asked me to pay up. I can't believe this can happen without some type of accountability. Run far far away. If I could give zero stars, I would. When I called for 2 bedroom condo move, they quoted with 2 movers at $169 per hour. Mind you we were moving 1.5 miles away. We moved our entire kitchen, pantry, food, laundry room, and clothes ourselves along with all luggage, shoes, coats, bedding, sheets, blankets. They had to move our living area, dining area, den, two beds, a couple of side tables, two small small desks, one office chair, one piece of large art, four tires from storage, a large mirror, a 30 boxes and 15 totes. That's it. They quoted me 5-6 hours total move time for two people to move it plus a trip and fuel charge. Then I called to confirm because they completely f'd up my email so I didn't receive anything from them. They fixed the email and suggested I add a 3rd mover for it to go faster for only $199 per hour. I agreed. I scheduled for 830am arrival. The paperwork quoted $2000 but it wasn't binding. They showed up at 930. Without the right materials. So one person left to go get them. I called again to confirm when I should schedule the elevators for lock at both buildings. They said 9am to noon and then noon to 3. So that's what I did. They just got here an hour ago (445pm after their arrival at 930 am 7+ hours...hours late from their estimate. Our new building had to negotiate with another family moving in to figure out the freight elevator. Now they have charged us over $4000 to move our stuff on their truck into our home. The people who were actually doing the moving were phenomenal and felt horrible about it all. But they said this happens all the time. I called the manager Mark and he said that the people who did the quote did it wrong. He was nice and apologized. But yet here I am stuck hours upon hours later than they quoted, paying them more than double what they quoted. Run FAR FAR away. Don't use this company under any circumstances. I have moved locally, moved across the state, and have done multiple cross country moves. They are literally the WORST I have experienced in the 20+ moves of my lifetime. The service was really good. The guys who did the moving were careful and great to work with for our complex move. The customer service was really good, too. Unfortunately, they're not at all transparent about their costs. They share the hourly rate, but aren't as clear about materials and fuel/vehicle maintenance. Katie just hung up on me after treating my fiancée and I very rudely over the phone. HUGE RIP OFF. Use another company. $1300 for a 2br house 5 minutes away. We spent HALF this amount with Alpine Moving Co last year and we came from Fort Collins with more things. We contracted for 3 movers and they gave us 2. This drastically impacted the time spent on the move and increased our cost because the move took longer and the 19% fuel charge is a percentage of the overall move. They charged us $164 for shrink wrapping some furniture and cardboard to cover two mirrors and a television. We had a terrible experience with their billing department. Would not recommend to anyone. We moved on Saturday 4/27/2024 from a condo to a house and had a terrible experience using All My Sons Denver. Below is a recap of everything that went wrong. Damage to property: Perhaps most frustrating of all is that I was left with a HUGE scrape in my wood floor that spanned the length of my entire condo. They moved the grill from the outside patio across the condo and neglected to pick it up. When I finally saw it, the guy pushing the grill ignored me. When I finally got the lead guy's attention, he attempted to submit a claim on the spot but his iPad wasn't working. He assured me he would tell the office at the end of the day to get the claim process started, but I had to call the next day to initiate the process. Claim process/customer care: I filed a claim for the damage and it got denied immediately. When I called to ask why, the customer care associate told me I was a liar and the scrape existed before the move. Joe Casarez was rude, disrespectful, and hung up on me. I called back to the Denver office to get some help, and they insist they cannot help me in any way. Every time I get transferred to customer care now, no one picks up and every single voicemail inbox is full. It has been a month now and I feel helpless. Hidden fees/lack of transparency: When it came time to pay my bill, it was about DOUBLE what I had expected. They never sent me a list of the cost of packing materials before the move date like they said they would, and the materials were astronomical (over $350) for limited supplies actually used as we had packed the majority of our condo ourselves ahead of time. By the time the move date was nearing, we couldn't adjust to another company last minute and were stuck with whatever they were going to charge, but I didn't think we would get royally screwed with these kinds of premiums. Further, they charge a "19% fuel surcharge." I assumed this was 19% on the gasoline used by the truck and it was never explained to me. Shame on me for not asking for a formal definition of something that felt pretty self explanatory. It turns out that the "fuel surcharge" is in fact a 19% fee on labor and materials. I feel this particular charge is incredibly misleading and hence, I feel scammed on this one especially. Speed/efficiency: Of the team of 3 men helping, the lead was working at a reasonable pace but the other two could not possibly be slower. They would disappear for lengths of time and would spend a significant amount of time idle, standing around waiting for the lead to tell them what to do next. When every 15 minutes is costing me $52, I was getting more and more frustrated by this as the day went on. Idle time: When the crew arrived, they started the clock immediately and yet nothing was actually moved for a good 15 minutes. Further, the lead went through all of the "pre-move" paperwork with me while I was being charged for move time. Once the truck was packed, the team of 3 all sat in the truck for ~10 minutes collectively waiting for the "window to defrost". Once again, they did not work as a team, nor did they work efficiently. Two of the three men did nothing for about 20 minutes from the last item they picked up to leaving in the truck. Not adjusting for appropriate labor hours: When you get to the place you are moving to, they estimate the additional time it will take to unload the truck and you pay then. After, they are supposed to "true-up" the time actually spent. In my case, they did not adjust the true time of departure and therefore they were not going to refund me the time I paid for but did not use. I had to call the next day and clarify the time they left and asked for a refund. The person I spoke with was hostile towards me and told me the men were "reconfiguring the truck" before they left - for 25 minutes?! It was the ultimate souring blow to such an awful experience. read more

Company illegally dumped on my property. They defied our signs, cameras and sirens and continued to fill our dumpster. We called them and they said they would take care of it. They didn't. We drove to our property to throw their trash out of our dumpster and they continued to ADD TO IT!!! Another phone call yielded ZERO results and the guy could care less. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This was the worst move we have had including several overseas moves while in the military. Thye punched a hole in a $2,000 sofa. Several Lladro's and other mementos were crushed and/or broken due to not being adequately padded inside the moving box. Furniture was wrapped in moving blankets when picked up but the blankets were gone after being delivered from temporary storage at the All My Sons storage facility. As a result, there was damage to several furniture items including the large hole in the sofa. They obviously do not train their people adequately and to not protect the items that go into their storage facility. read more
