Instead of using a big, heavy roller to smooth out the new material, they used a small walk-behind machine one might use to vibrate pavers on a patio to make sure thjey won't move. Grant told me there might be some uneven settling or potholes and I should just call if that occurs and they'd come and fix them. We did get a sizable pothole near the end of the driveway. I called a couple of months after they did the original work and have been getting nothing but excuses for almost 3 years. I hesitated to give a bad review because he kept promising to fix the problem. But he always blamed the weather, or being down an employee, or being busy, or sometimes promising to come "soon" but it's clear he never intended to honor his promise and finish the job properly. The second star is only because the drainage worked out okay. The driveway wasn't done properly and was never fixed. I'd avoid this company.

I contacted ADS to fix a small leak and had mentioned a couple other minor plumbing changes as potential for either now or later. The owner stated they could come out "today or tomorrow". I expected an estimate or further discussion, however, he just sent a less experienced "technician" to complete all work. The technician struggled with how to replace parts to fix the leak. He was planning on cutting the copper pipe to remove the old push stops until I told him there wouldn't be enough copper left to attach the new shark bite stops. In the process, he flooded beneath the dishwasher (didn't even know how to access that plumbing until I showed him), soaked some basement carpet, then called a co-worker to "help figure things out". He did not bring anything into my home to mop up the water (used my towels without asking). End result, it took him 4.5 hours to do a few simple jobs = $675 (this included a "local resident" discount from $750). Additionally, I had already purchased all necessary parts except one braided hose. I promptly paid by check to avoid their credit card fee. Since the technician could not tell me the cost breakdown, I sent a polite email to the owner requesting such. No reply. Two weeks later, I resent my email. Still, NO REPLY! This lack of response alludes that there is no substantiated justification for his cost. I will be utilizing an experienced plumber (who actually comes out themselves to do the work and can answer questions and fees) instead of trusting our quaint small town local business. This guy is a CROOK!

Joe came out here and supposedly snaked out my pipe, first through the clean out and he stayed he had gotten all the way through to the septic tank and that my septic tank needed to be pumped and that was the reasonf or my bathroom flooding so I paid Joe $400 after explaining to him that my septic tank had already been pumped not even 3 months ago however I didn't question it thinking maybe the drain field had been messed up since then so I then called and paid someone $400 to come and empty a near empty septic tank which was not the problem like I had already told him so I called and spoke with Connie about the frustration on my end. Connie then sent him out here a second time, this time he decided to snake through the toilet, Joe did not have the tools needed to do this even and his snake was too big to fit so my neighbor brought his tools down to my house for the guy to use and he took the end of of his snake to try to make it fit and it did but that made it basically just a wire going through the toilet pipes, so he wraps up after doing that and leaves the second time. The very next day our bathroom is STILL flooding remind you we are now $1000 into this with young children walking around our house. So my fiance decided to take matters into his own hands and we go and buy an industrial snake we try to snake it out ourselves and that doesn't work because it didn't seem long enough so we then DIG up the pipe in the backyard near the septic tank and there we find a rubber fitting, so we open up the rubber fitting and low and behold there is a giant clog!! So I call back to speak with Connie and explain to her what is going on and how we have pictures and videos of us unclogging it ourselves and that we would like a refund, they stated they snaked all the way through to the septic tank, someone please tell me how they could've possibly snaked all the way through the pipe to the septic tank and there was still a giant clog but that they would launch and investigation and call us the following week. I waited and that week passed with no phone call so I called back today February 18th, 2025 to find out the status of the investigation and Connie is very very rude and does not even remember me when I first call, some investigation huh? I tell her we will be contacting the news station and an attorney to get our money back and Connie starts yelling not to threaten her company and informing me they are no longer an option for me when I need help like I would ever use their services again considering the terrible service I received and not to mention paying for a service that I did NOT receive nor was it close to what I paid for!! Worst decision I ever made was to pick up the phone and call Roto Rooters I have always used Grimes and from here on out I always will but I was trying to save a little money and they were a little cheaper but I ended up spending more because of everything that happened anyway and I guess it is true, you get what you pay for!!! Terrible service and I would never recommend them to anyone let alone try to use their services again.

He surveyed everything and explained what was needed to be done and was very thorough. Mike was efficient and very friendly. Always checked with us to make sure new pipes and vents were placed convenient for our home. Cleaned up well and finished job reasonably quickly.
