Sure, some opt for the least expensive wallpaper hanger out there but cutting corners on something you want for years or decades is short-sighted. Its absolutely stunning! He's thorough and helped us avoid a terrible mistake with what type of wall paper we ordered and he was very careful and clean in the installation. Quoted slightly above others' bids, then at time of scheduling, he more than doubled the cost with almost no explanation. From the start, I provided Greg very specific details of my job, (exact paper details, manuf. installation instructions, dimensions and photos of wall) and I asked if he was experienced hanging 54" wide commercial paper. He assured me he was. I was ready to schedule it but he suddenly increased the price (to over fifteen hundred) and said it was for primer. Knowing this was unreasonable just for primer, I asked him for more information but he just ghosted me. I never heard from him again. I can only surmise that he low-balled the quote just to book the job intending to upcharge me later, or he raised the price dramatically because he really didn't want to do the job (perhaps he isn't experienced with 54" wide commercial paper after all). Either way, it was very unprofessional to quote me low, then up-charge without basis, then ghost me. I can not recommend this company. read more

Overcharged & disorganized. Added an extra $800 charge for clear primer without getting approval from me before doing it. He never mentioned that it would be an added cost. His pricing also didn't make sense because he charged the same price for all 4 walls even though 2 of them were almost half the size of the others. Wallpaper should be priced by square footage. He also charges $500 just to give a quote for the project. The quality of the work was okay. One spot was cut at a crooked angle which is disappointing considering he charged $800/wall when the average for the area is $500-600/wall. Not worth the price at all. He was very disorganized, mixing me up with different people and not remembering what he had texted me or not throughout the process of working with him. Before he came, I told him the measurements of my walls, and when he showed up he claimed he needed a bigger ladder (which is an extra charge) even though he knew the size of the walls before coming. The ladder he had was 6ft and he was at least 6ft tall, my walls were 10ft tall, so of course he could reach the top without an additional ladder. Clearly just trying to up-sell unnecessarily. read more

Was referred by a friend, so I reached out about paper install job in new house. Needed to know how much to purchase as I ordered wallpaper. Would not come to job site to measure, wanted me to take pictures or videos of job to be completed, wanted me to send wallpaper scans so he could look up the paper for roll sizes and such, and all with a pompous atttitude. Very turned off by the guy, sadly based on my friend's review, I referred him to another neighbor who was papering a wall. read more

I wanted to hang wall paper but I have not been good at it so for the first time ever I called in a professional. Wow! I'm so happy I did. Not only was the job done well it was done quickly and everything was cleaned up after so I didn't have any extra mess. I will never go back to doing it myself again. I was even short and John was able to use what I had to make it work and made it look perfect rather than patched together. I'm so impressed still. After selecting some grass cloth wallpaper at a store that exclusively sells wallpaper, the decorator who was helping me insisted that I find an experienced wallpaper hanger, not a handyman or painter that occasionally did it. Because the store was pretty far from where I would be installing it, she didn't have anybody to recommend. I eventually discovered Greg and All American Wallpapering. Unlike many other vendors I have been dealing with in order to get this house into shape, he called me back quickly and even suggested things I could do myself to prep the wall so he wouldn't have to charge me for doing them himself. The job turned out great, and I would recommend him to anybody. While his price might seem higher than others, you aren't paying him by the hour, you are paying for the 40 years of experience that allows him to do the job correctly and make it look easy. And with the price of some wallpapers, if your handyman ruins a roll during installation, that's going to cost you plenty. read more
